After a long wait I received official update for EMUI 5.0 with all excitement I updated my mobile only to realise ALL my settings have been overridden, this includes ringtones, wallpaper and things. I've used many mobiles but never faced this sort of issue.
Did everyone face this issue?

Nope all settings and customization stayed the same for me
It can't be happened. Please see update notes number 2 sentence.

Whats the Build number
Must be a critical bug that cause this. This shouldn't happen.

Live search mobile notified me tonight that there is now a new version and prompted me to download and install it.

YEs, that's the one.
That is the newest. It has speach recognition and some other new stuff. It is an update from the one that didn't have the speach recognition. The 411 is a new feature that is like operaqtor assistance

Same version here but got this Speach Recognition update Months ago.

After the last update from market my Nexus enter in endless reboots. Wiped ROM and installed CM 7.1 RC0. And never will try this Balanced. After some days ago Balenced was removed from market.

Thats total rubbish mate. And it was removed from the market a month ago.

Where is the source of ROM files? Is that where the leak?
Leaked, not official. And the news should be from HTC, not Google.

Unknown fixes. Since it's unofficial there are no release notes about it. It might or might not fix some important things, can't really notice as I actually did not have any major issues with the 1.18 anyways . Basically it adds a few more features.. Hopefully by the time it becomes official HTC will fix some more issues, and also include the new market release.
SMS jump feature is fixed but now you get the conversation list without being able to reply (no reply box).

Now all work fine again.
New on 1.7:
• Able to read and change group icon
• Improved scrolling behavior
Marketplace is version 1.7.0.0 but after the update in the app. we find the version 1.6.2...They did still confusion?

what's taking them so long to bring it up to the same level as the iphone version? I'm glad that they're updating it slowly, but it's still kind of lame
To install the Google play store simply head to Apkmirror.com or Apkpure.com and download the store from there. After that you can install all your favorite apps from the Google play store it's as simple as that. One final note if you are in China you will need a VPN to be able to use Google services and the play store. Goodluck!

New Update has arrived enabling Aura lighting for calls and app notifications, other updates include network speed and November security patch.
*Cyan strobe light for incoming call.
*Orange strobe for missed calls or app notifications in general(default) but you can customize the color for each app.
By the way if you are wondering yes the led notification and Aura Lighting both work at the same time when you have a notification so if your phone is turned back or is up front you will not miss your notifications.

Of course, check the screenshots. It seems it's not available for manual download yet on the website, check maybe after a few hours.

I don't see any major changes, just a minor update. Regarding Volte i am not sure because I don't use the feature although i have the option to activate it.

yesterday when i was playing pubg suddenly my screen got auto touch issue. that means when i was touching on left side of the screen the person is moving right side to the screen
once i restarted the mobile everything went back to normal. i don't know if its a defective screen or software bug but i was really worried. have you faced any such kind of issues

Most likely it's just a software bug, anyway i haven't faced such issues because I don't play resource intensive games like PUBG so I can't tell.

Really hating these garbage updates for the accessories. No fixes for any of the crucial problems with the accelerometer, microphone, etc.
