There is a bug fix on it's way soon. Pocketnow had it somewhere this morning. Probably next week?

Now all work fine again.
New on 1.7:
• Able to read and change group icon
• Improved scrolling behavior
Marketplace is version 1.7.0.0 but after the update in the app. we find the version 1.6.2...They did still confusion?
EDIT:The application works well..... mine was just a clarification on the version
what's taking them so long to bring it up to the same level as the iphone version? I'm glad that they're updating it slowly, but it's still kind of lame

To be honest, apart from support for paid apps in the Market, I can't really see many differences...

I haven't heard much about it but I hope the radio update it includes is the same one that seems to increase battery life in RC33. Can say I'd enjoy that.

It does have a radio image in it.

Interestingly (annoyingly), Maps is now 3.0 but there's no sign of Latitude...
latitude is present in rc9 (uk).
Voice search is not present.

both of which I really wanted and when I got them (by installing JFv1.43 Holiday) never really used them past that first try

neither do i, and I am looking in the right place.
I have v3.0 of maps. but no option in the maps menu for latitude.
I have updated too. no latitude and still not able top access https through the browser!
i've not noticed any real difference in anything to be honest!
does anyone know how to solve the https issue?

I have latitude and https is working fine.
Maybe because I made a "fresh install":
jf1.41 -> rc8 (dreaimg.nbh) -> rc9
hmmm, I may try a wipe and install....see what happens.
Surely we shouldn't have to go through that process to get new features from an update...?

Well a factory reset and reinstalling rc9 seems to have https:// working!!
Still no sign of latitude though!! What should there be?

Thanks, tried and works fine in Spain. Just to say, you cannot move the pda to your eyes angle because doing that the camera points out of the road so the path is not drawn accurately. A good improvement would be the possibility to move that drawing to a particular angle. Otherwise you have to place the holder just in front of you.
Pressing in settings/about shows version 0 trial, I don't know if there is the initial release or is the last one.
I hope I hope this will work on the Touch Pro 2 once they get gps fulling working properly!!

This is not the first Augmented Reality Navigation. There is a really nice free one that is better on the android market and has been there for a long time called AugSatNav. AugSatNav is a very well developed and more responsive than this one. Check before you claim its the first.

So, on the same day that I FINALLY get an official beta invite for the Swype beta, I read on Twitter that they are going to be releasing the public beta tomorrow. Here is the link:

LOL. I got that beta invite this morning as well. Awesome.
I'm part of the beta and just installed the newest version but it doesnt work. When i "swype" i see the tracing but no words are ever inputted. I remember having this problem before but I dont remember how I fixed it...Any ideas? Thanks.

Long press the input field, select input method from the context method, switch to Android Keyboard, then do this again and switch back to Swype.

Did you uninstall both the old installer and the program? Then download the new installer and apk? I recall that this process should be followed for the new version to work.
Just installed it, I think Swype is one of the best things on Android. Installed without any problems.
i registered late last night...got my invite about 10 minutes ago.
back up and running with swype. one of my favorite apps (and most useful) on my nexus.
Looks like it's up now. For anyone that doesn't have the beta already, now is the time to get it!
Can someone tell me if double tapping in portrait mode works to bring up the spell check box in this version?

I didnt have the old installer/apk as i just upgraded to a nexus one from a G1. however, I reinstalled it and it works now. Hard to decide whether I like swype or HTC IME better. I guess time will tell. If only HTC IME had multi touch, I'd be so happy!!

After the last update from market my Nexus enter in endless reboots. Wiped ROM and installed CM 7.1 RC0. And never will try this Balanced. After some days ago Balenced was removed from market.

Thats total rubbish mate. And it was removed from the market a month ago.
after I reporting the bug in Market I got emailed from market customer..they say there is a new update for xoom, here is what they said to me :

the bug I report is my market change its language to current country I live, and there is no way to change it back to english language.. I can't buy app from market too..
The marketplace updates just happen. But I couldn't tell you if I recieved one or not. Not sure which version I have at the moment. What version are you on?

Mine is v. 1.0.17.
That seems like such an insignificant update. There's MANY more complaints about not being able to rate and comment. They should get that fixed.
