To install the Google play store simply head to Apkmirror.com or Apkpure.com and download the store from there. After that you can install all your favorite apps from the Google play store it's as simple as that. One final note if you are in China you will need a VPN to be able to use Google services and the play store. Goodluck!

By the way if you are wondering yes the led notification and Aura Lighting both work at the same time when you have a notification so if your phone is turned back or is up front you will not miss your notifications.

I don't see any major changes, just a minor update. Regarding Volte i am not sure because I don't use the feature although i have the option to activate it.

yesterday when i was playing pubg suddenly my screen got auto touch issue. that means when i was touching on left side of the screen the person is moving right side to the screen
once i restarted the mobile everything went back to normal. i don't know if its a defective screen or software bug but i was really worried. have you faced any such kind of issues

Most likely it's just a software bug, anyway i haven't faced such issues because I don't play resource intensive games like PUBG so I can't tell.

Really hating these garbage updates for the accessories. No fixes for any of the crucial problems with the accelerometer, microphone, etc.

Interestingly (annoyingly), Maps is now 3.0 but there's no sign of Latitude...

I have v3.0 of maps. but no option in the maps menu for latitude.
I have updated too. no latitude and still not able top access https through the browser!
i've not noticed any real difference in anything to be honest!

I have latitude and https is working fine.
Maybe because I made a "fresh install":
jf1.41 -> rc8 (dreaimg.nbh) -> rc9
hmmm, I may try a wipe and install....see what happens.
Surely we shouldn't have to go through that process to get new features from an update...?

Well a factory reset and reinstalling rc9 seems to have https:// working!!
Still no sign of latitude though!! What should there be?
SmartSMSVibrate is an application for Android Phones 2.0+ .
With this application when you receive a Text Message (SMS), SmartSMSVibrate will check if you have your phone in your pocket/holster. If your phone is in a closed environment (in your pocket/holster), then the phone will vibrate. If your phone is in a open environment (on the table), then the phone wont vibrate.
This is done using the proximity sensor.

Anyway to make it work on Android 1.5? My friend is stuck with 1.5 on the Cliq XT until Motorola gets their act together.

There was a bug reported, when installing from the Market, the default settings arent getting applied correctly. This causes the app to vibrate all the time. The temp fix is to disable all the settings in the options. Then re-applying them fixes it. I will patch it this evening when I get home (10.7.2010).

For those who have 1.0 installed. There are two ways to fix it. Either uninstall and reinstall the app. Or check all the options, then uncheck them all again. Then apply the settings of your choice.

There is an app on the market called SensorViewer. Install it and get me the readings of the Proximity values when you cover your phone and when you dont have it covered.
Once you can give me that info I can add support for your model.

This only checks if the phone is covered when a SMS is received. So if no SMS, then it will not drain your battery.

Same here for Samsun Galaxy S cativate with SensorViewer !
Doesn't seem to work with EVO with newest version. Still vibrates while on the desk.
Like the app concept though, hope it works correctly in future versions.

The phone automatically searches for app updates. When an update is available, it shows a number on the Marketplace tile.
As for repeat, shuffle, etc., just tap on the album artwork.
thats not always the case. Sometimes it takes ages for the phone to find an update available for the app. I think this was fixed in NoDo

Not that i know. I remember when Boards Express rolled out an update. And i made a big deal like an idiot that there was no update available.
Marketplace didnt notify me. Didnt even recognise i had it purchased. But when i went and press buy again it recognized i had it installed and then offered an update.
It annoyss me a small bit right now that i dont really know when theres an update available. Works for some apps and doesnt for some. Wait till update for Omnia comes out now

I had the same; there's an update for Adobe PS Touch; look for it in the Samsung App Store...
After installation of the update, the notification is gone . . .
It is annoying. I used titanium back up to disable this samsung application. I am not hi on Samsung applications.

That's weird, I just updated Polaris and Photoshop Touch and both notifications are gone for me.
It must be one of the apps that Samsung has included with the note and will probably be a process of elimination until you find which one it is or someone else points it out. The reasons the pop-up's are there are probably because these apps were not downloaded and came pre-installed and therefore not showing as needing updates.
It's my second time I've finally broken through all obstacles of the Chinese language and managed to subscribe for EMUI 10.1 beta. And it was worth it.
That was yesterday and today I received the shiny new beta update. As usual after installation, I firstly transform the appearance into pure Android (in my opinion there is no such flexible launcher as EMUI when you get the hang of it).
After adaptation, I started to explore my brand new device. It's a lot to try, I'm attaching some pictures for the first impression.
For those who want to try it, there is still time to catch the train. It's only for the Chinese model, you must install Huawei Club app from Huawei app store and crawl through Chinese instructions. Good luck.

Ok. Please don't be upset if the last part wouldn't be exactly accurate. The result is to be achieved by trial and error. It's hard to reproduce the exact procedure in Chinese and there are different highlighted links all lead to the final result. Below you have marked some of those links.
What is important:
You must be registered by Huawei as Chinese (you can switch this later back).
No Chinese sim is needed but you have to register your phone number for verification purposes.
You must be on 10.0.200 (if you are not, separate instruction is available for the upgrade).
You must download Huawei club app from Huawei store. Sooner or later you must register yourself with this club.
Follow beta application steps as you can see below. As I mentioned before there might be some errors incorporated and you can get to the same result from a different sequence of steps.
You'll be informed when you succeed. And soon after your beta license is going to appear in system upgrade settings.

I've always had Google Assistant. Installed it from GPS. Only I can't use a hotword from any screen, I have to either open the Assistant or use it in Android auto. That's good enough for me.
And Huawei strict battery policy kills it now and then and I must open it again.

What is a low volume? Volume on the loudspeakers is just below the distortion level and the sound is good as it could be on the phone.
Volume on my wired earphones goes to the limit of the sustainable level.
On Bluetooth, earpieces are just loud enough but I guess that the loudness depends on the Bluetooth device a lot.
And yes, Dolby is active.
Besides, what I noticed so far is that 2 Google apps sometimes lags significantly after upgrade: Google and Gplay store. assistant with Android auto works flawlessly though.
And the camera is completely renewed. New functionality, new possibilities, better menu, similar to the new Huawei phones. I haven't had a chance to really try it yet.

Go on first page download Huawei club app there u need to sign up and join. Beta is for global phones. For AL00 chinese need use Huawei club app

Hello. What is your model number? And in what region do you have your Huawei ID? In my case I have the EVR-AL00 and the region I used was China for the process. Also I had debloated the phone but reverted it back to clean stock for the process (because I removed some stuff that didn't let me get the beta profile). Btw, I don't think the region matter because now with my country region I can do the steps and everything goes well as I posted. If you want I can make a screen recording showing. Let me know.
After signup just need join the beta programme. Click that white box witj chinese for joining beta and downloading beta profile.
