Hi,
I tried to install magisk on my Z3 with locked bootloader and fragment rom.
After hitting reboot the phone the screen turned black and my phone is dead. I doesn`t turn on.
Tried to flash a rom via flashtool but it says I have to turn on USB debugging. Thats not possible since my phone doesn`t start at all.
Fastbootmode is recognized, also flashmode.
What to do?

Just a little info about Magisk taken from the original thread:
"Sony Devices: If you're using stock kernel, it is using Sony's special ELF format.
Magisk will repack it to standard AOSP format, which requires your device to be unlocked"
Don't try to flash Magisk on a Xperia with locked bootloader.

already trying this but in flashtool when it says "connect your device in flash mode" i connected in flash mode and flash mode shows that device is connected in flash mode but nothing happen then and after few seconds device power off automatically. I think my device is in MTP mode as flashtool say your device should not in MTP mode, is there any way to change mode using flashtool or any other method?
Maybe useing SEUS?

Is your phone stuck at the Sony Bootloop?
If so the method that i've give you might work!
Which version of flashtools that use?
My phone is stuck on boot loop ever since I did
OTA update to 33R. Phone boots and stays on the
1+ screen.
My One Plus is not rooted. The bootloader
is not unlocked. I have not turned on USB
Debugger.
So far I have done factory reset / wipe cache.
I have wiped partition and media without any luck.
I downloaded Android SDK and tried to use fastboot erase cache
but keep getting "waiting for device".
My phone appears as a "Android Device" with
a yellow question mark in Device Manager. Tried
to provide the Gooogle USB Driver from Android
SDK but it did not take.
So completely lost at this point. Please help.
p.s. I am absolutely new to Android.

that usually means that drivers are not installed correctly. please use (google) Universal ADB and Fastboot Driver to get access via fastboot. if it still Shows waiting for device try another pc. if that wont help too, you have to file a RMA at oneplus.net.

Danke sher. I will try the drivers again. In case I can detect the phone - what steps should I take next?
Hi Everyone,
I am having an issue since last one month. Researched a lot but nothing helped me.
I tried to flash my xperia m2 dual (D2302) with a custom rom (MIUI V5, from ROMs section). I got the devices booted but when I realized lots of bugs in the ROM, I planned to switch back to stock ROM. I had flashed stock ROM couple of times earlier and so I follow the flash instructions again. I then realized the device is not booting in flashmode. Whenever I am connecting the device while switched off with holding the volume down button, A green led flashes and goes off. The flashtool says
Device connected with USB debugging off.
For 2011 line devices, make sure you are not in MTP mode.
I tried a lot but couldn't resolve the problem. Then I found CM11 nightly build. With that ROM I am using my device but it also has two major issues.
1) Sudden reboots (while chatting or while playing games)
2) No audio after using device for an hour or so after reboot. Reboot solves the problem for an hour but audio goes off again after one or one and half hours.
I want to go back to stock ROM. But unable to do so because of no flash mode.
For information:
1) I am using 64Bit windows 8.1 (I had flashed my xperia d2302 with this machine a couple of times before I flashed MIUI V2)
2) Drivers are properly installed, USB cable changed but not luck
I request everyone with the android development knowledge, please help me out. I am a newbie in this area and so don't know much. Please let me know how can I resolve the flashmode problem or can I revert to stock ROM using a way other than flashmode.
Or if you can tell me how can I fix the CM11 sudden reboot and no audio issues.
Please help me out. Please
The way to get in to flashmode is to make sure your phone is turned OFF , then you just have to connect your phone to a USB while holding volume down.
If you can't get it right this way, you could always try to flash trough fastboot, first of all go to your device information, where you can find your Android version etc. ... tap the build number for like 5-6 times , so the developer options become visible in the options.
Then in the developer option , turn ADB debugging on, connect your device with your computer.
Make sure you got the adb drivers installed and fastboot drivers also for your device.
Whenever your computer connects trough adb with your phone, you gotta allow the connection by allowing it on your phone. (There will be a pop-up screen).
Then you gotta make sure you got Android SDK installed, there will be a map called SDK, open it and then open the platform-tools map.
Move your kernel, recovery, and system images you want to install into this map too. ( Take one which is able to boot in Flashmode)
Then you gotta open up a command window. My path to the map is C:\SDK\Platform-tools, to get to the map you use the cd command, like this:
cd C:\SDK\platform-tools
then first of all make sure you got a backup of all your images etc. just in case....
in the command window type,
adb reboot fastboot
then these ones (all seperatly):
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
After it is done succesfull you can type
fastboot reboot
You can try to be quick and allready press the volume down button to boot in flashmode.
Otherwise you gotta turn off your phone and try it again.
Hope to hear it works....
Xperia devices use FTF files for flashing. I don't have the stock boot.img and I am unable to get it.
I extracted the FTF but I got lots of sin files. I don't know how can I create boot.img from these.
Do you have any idea about it? Or if you have boot.img for Xperia D2302, please post me link for the same.
Thanks for the reply.

You don't have to extract anything, load whole ftf in Flashtool and leve unchecked Kernel (if that's what you want to flash) you'll flash only Kernel.

What's the problem? What Windows you use? Does your phone get recognized by pc(do you have all drivers instaled)? Do you have PC companion installed?
If you do, there is power off button by the sim card, press it then try to connect usb while holding volume down.
Try to repair your phone with PC companion. Then see if the problem is solved.
Good Luck!

Yes. The phone is being detected by PC. I am able to get into fastboot mode but not in flash mode.
Pc Companion is installed. I am using windows 8 64 bit. Drivers are installed properly. I tried repairing the phone with pc companion but it is not detecting the phone while repairing.
May be the boot partition is corrupted. What recovery are you using? If you are using cwm then can you send me the boot.img from the stock rom cwm backup?
This may solve my problem.

After a long time am reverting back. I am still facing the same issue. The boot image that you sent is not being installed. It's saying "not a valid boot image".
Are you still using M2 Dual?
If yes, Can you send me a fresh CWM backup of your ROM so that I can make my phone usable. Please.

Hi I'm an amateur enthusiast of rooting and flashingn etc. I have a Google nexus 5 hammerhead and I flashed a bootloader image as a recovery image while in recovery. My phone turns on goes straight to bootloader and if I try to access rec or start phone then screen is just blank. I've tried using a computer to fix but won't detect drivers won't update drivers and I'm not really sure what I'm doing. Can someone please help me . thanks mike
Make yourself familiar with fastboot.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
If the phone is recognized in fastboot mode and the phone has an unlocked bootloader, try flashing a stock Google ROM.
He doesn't have to flash the whole factory image. If he wants stock recovery, he can flash that image file only.
Gesendet von meinem Nexus 5 mit Tapatalk
If it was only recovery that was corrupted, I'm not sure why the phone doesn't boot the rom.
Ah, you're right! Sorry!
@OP: Flash the whole factory image then. Remove the -w flag from the flash-all.bat to prevent your data partition from being wiped.

Hi! Yesterday I unlocked my bootloader successfully. My Honor6X is the European BLN-L21 version. When I bought the device EMUI 4.1 was preinstalled and I made official upgrade to EMUI 5. After unlocking bootloader yesterday I installed latest TWRP from our TWRP-thread. All was successfull but there was a big problem. I can´t boot into TWRP recovery. When I power phone there is always the "warning, bootloader is unlocked" screen. When I press volume up button the phone boots into erecovery but not into TWRP! Otherwise when phone is fully powered OFF, I press volume up and power button at the same time. Then device starts booting and the booloader screen appears again. This time there is instantly the "device is booting now" screen but then nothing happens anymore and i have to restart phone manually.
SO PROBLEM IS: I can´t get into recovery.
Has anyone an idea why i have this problem and someone is able to help me or might know a way to fix this bug/issue?
It would be very nice if someone could help me.
BTW: Is it normal that when I restore/flash full system image via erecovery that the bootloader is locked again?
Best regards, Felix

as far as i know there is no working twrp for nougat.this exactly happened to me but my device is BLN-L22(indian variant). for this what i did is just remove all connections to the phone and power off and then powered on after approx. 15 secs the phone will boot to os which is present in mobile with bootloader unlock warning.....if this doesnt help use a sdcard and put the firmware (either MM or Nougat) in it and hold vol+,- and power buttons (all the three buttons at same time) u will automatically go to a upgrading window and after update the phone will reboot automatically wiping all data into os
PS:im not an expert or developer but this worked for me....so if u want give it a try
