Help. I have destroyed my device. I have installed EMUI 5.0. Then I installed twrp 3.1.1. Everything was fine. Then I have flashed a wrong supersu file. Now I only get into the fastboot mode and the "erecovery". The TWRP 3.1.1 I can not flash. It means i can flash it with adb, but the device always boots into the system. My smartphone hangs in the bootloop. (After Honor logo it restarts again and again) What can I do? How can a go back to stock? Or flash twrp without booting the system after flashing twrp? Hope someone can help me

Boot to erecovery, select the first option. It will download and install your stock firmware.

so for enter to twrp : unplug your phone usb/charge and turn device off. So now, turn on with button combo: hold vol up + on/off, when u see blue scree honor, release on/off button but still continue holding vol+
Just to be sure...

There is a way with ADB and fastboot. Download an appropriate firmware file for your mobile, then using Huawei Update Extractor, flash the image to their respective partitions.

That's great. Yes you can upgrade. No need to use a different TWRP and SuperSU. Just be sure to mount Vendor partition when flashing SuperSU.

Flash TWRP from [url="https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/development/twrp-t3566563/page1]HERE,[/url] then boot to recovery. You'll see an option there called Mount, click that and you'll see a checklist of mountable partitions. Just check on Vendor before you flash SuperSU.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
had to extract and flash kernel manually.
Download this: https://mega.nz/#!kGZEjZSQ!iLAW0onaLACrG5v7BCYZUVH6WMO1ued8PWWcpMTY6Fs
Boot to fastboot mode.
Extract bootoreo.zip:
fastboot flash kernel KERNEL.IMG
fastboot flash ramdisk RAMDISK.IMG
See if that helps.

What did you flash?
That error displays IF you flash an image intended for Nougat. Because on Nougat the recovery/boot partition included both ramdisk and zimage, in Oreo they are separate.
Or if it's corrupted.

You could install a kernel manager, but it shouldn't really be needed.
Unless you want to tweak the default settings a bit, then get something like Kernel Adiutor

Get to fastboot mode, you're currently in error mode.
Just hold power and volume down while USB is plugged in and you should end up in Fastboot mode. It might take a few tries.
Then flash a recovery for Oreo.

i am having the same issue, all of my partitions are seemingly flashed correctly in order but i am bootlooping every gsi or openkirin build i flash idk what to do :/
Same here, I have high hopes for one day being able to flash these but even following all the instructions such as factory reset, format the data partition etc., it's a bootloop every time for me when flashing these and then a tedious return to EMUI.

Hi, I have an error query when I start the phone Error Mode Func 11 Recovery Image, Error 2 Image Failed, my version is MH9-L09C432B368 I got this version following this tutorial:
android-hilfe.de/[/url] forum / root-custom-roms-modding-fuer-huawei-mate-9.3022 / anleitung-upgrade-auf-oreo-downgrade-auf-nougat.857015.html
everything worked perfect, but I got a version via OTA the 369 having the TWRP, Bootloader unlocked I had the brilliant idea to block the Bootloader to install version 369, there I start the problem of error 11 and 2.
Can anyone tell me what files should I flash to recover the cell phone? I have understood that I must flash the recovery img images as well as the img of the erecovery but I could not make the cell phone work, if I install the twrp it does not start either, they could tell me what steps I should take. Give to be able to save my cell phone?
Thank you very much everyone for the help you can give me

What are you installing SuperSU TO? Have you flashed a ROM? Flash a different ROM. Some repeat of above post @Mohammed Siamwala . Avoid majisk until you fix this.- I find it buggy sometimes.
I suspect I have corrupted my ROM somehow.
Installing superSU 2.62 Beta seems to boot it but it still gets stuck at the motorola logo screen.Which ROM should I use and how do I install it?Thanks for diagnosing the problem.:good:

click the thing that says not to install the TWRP app when rebooting

Installation:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk TWRP_3.2.1-0_ANE-LX1_Full_01.img
fastboot reboot
*Note many devices will replace your custom recovery automatically during first boot.
To prevent this, after typing fastboot reboot, remove the USB cable and hold the Vol+ key and boot to TWRP.
Once TWRP is booted, TWRP will patch the stock ROM to prevent the stock ROM from replacing TWRP.
If you don't follow this step, you will have to repeat the install.
Note: No sources available due to minor changes on the Pretoriano80's TWRP

Yes, I tried with success.
If fail for you reflash via fastboot.

This recovery should be compatible with ANE-LX3.
I don't have an answer in short term if this recovery will be compatible with custom ROMs but I'm work on it.
hey,
this crashes for me. it boots fine into twrp then, after 2-3secs it randomly reboots without me doing anything.... any help?

I recommend you install the Pretoriano80 recovery and check the behavior.
What also helps is post here your device model and Rom installed.

Do you have a stock or treble rom installed?
Today I received an official full OTA update on my p20 lite.
Will the install of this update break the TWRP and/or root?
You can only upgrade with the stock recovery so....

Yes, in the meantime I just tried and of course the system was rebooted to TWRP which cannot automatically install stock update.
Now I am going to restore stock recovery.
? trial and error ?
That's how we learn the hard way ?

As mchtt explained, you need reflash at least stock recovery, but in my case was not enough, my system, cust, odm and ramdisk were changed and it fails every attempt.
So, I flashed B126 with HuRUpdater and then I got a clean ROM, then the official B136 FullOTA was installed without issues.

Yes, it should work.
If not, let me know and, flash back your stock recovery.
Can you please tell me where you found the stock recovery for your phone coz i have the same problem.
Using ANE-LX2C185
Flash stock recovery from
Code:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/rmx1851/files/fastboot_files/recovery.img/download
Download this Q2P.zip
Code:
https://download.c.realme.com/osupdate/Q2P.zip
Flash this ROM from stock recovery
FORMAT DATA. Trust me without this step you will definitely get stuck in a bootloader bootloop.
This was the easiest way I could find to revert back to stock ROM when I faced issues with my custom ROMs. Decrypting the ozip to zip was a longer issue..
With my new account I can't definitely post outside links so please use the links inside the code.

i tried alot of guides actualy and every one got me an error but it worked last time i donloaded the OZIP file from official realme website and installed twrp 3.4 (can decrypt ozip) and installed it but it came to me with an error called "failed to mount /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/userdata at /data" every time so i gave up and eventually i formated data and it worked i dont know who give it a try... sorry if not so helpful though
