I bought a Boost Mobile LG G Stylo from a friend that lives in another town and when I got back home and tried to activate it, it's stuck at the FRP protection, asking me for the previous owner's Google account. He doesn't want to give me his password and said when I come back to his town, he will do it, but I need it before then. I have tried to bypass it by getting into the settings via accessibility but it won't let me add a new account and won't let me disable the setup wizard. It is also running 6.0. Does anyone know how I can bypass this?

You have to connect to a network hotspot that lets you sign in via web browser from there you type in call (insert resturant) this brings up the dialer from there you press 3 dot menu then call settings then sound settings this gets you to the settings.... This is useful because u can call out and receive calls but u cannot text but you can browse the web the ONLY way to get the phone all the way unlocked is by getting him to sign in but if you know his email just tell him to tap the number or yes when the notification pops up on his phone

I've had my Sprint TP2 working flawlessly on Boost for about 6 months now. I haven't had a need for voicemail until now (never even set it up with my original Boost phone).
Holding 1 connects me to my number but puts me through to a busy tone. Am I going to have to switch to an actual CDMA Boost phone, set up my voicemail, and then switch service back to the TP2?
Any other ideas?
Thanks!
Edit: Meant to put Boost in the thread title
hey i have boost also on my touch pro, i beleive somewhere in winmo>settings>personal>phone settings you can reassign your voice mail number, maybe that would help? you should be able to set up your voicemail from the phone that is tied to your account, if i can be of any assistance further you can pm me if you wish, good luck!
Here is my situation, on January 10th I switched over to the new sprint framily plan. After that I was not able to make or receive calls to my phone. I did not realize this until a few days later because I do not use my phone for calls that much. Also when I switched plans the the next day I received an email from Google notifying me that my google voice integration has been disabled. I have tried everything I can think of on my part to fix this problem: use the sprint reset dialer code *#*#72786#*#*, flashed different roms, tried different kernels, returned my phone to stock rom, updated prl, updated profile. After all of that I called sprint had them reset the network and that did not work. I called Google they tried to troubleshoot it, but the only option they could come up with is to RMA my device, which I am debating on doing. Searching the forums brought up nothing so I decided to stop this thread and was wondering if anyone has gone through the same problems? I would also like to know if they have what is the solution?
Are you getting an error code when you dial? Or a busy signal?
Sprint *should* be able to push HLR (Home Location Register) updates to your phone, so that the information matches Sprint's network. I'd call them again.

Thanks Ill call them again and ask for that. It gives me no error code it just says call cannot be completed at dialed.

So I had the same situation as you. I called Sprint and they couldn't get Google voice to work. I kept getting the "we could not connect your call" error. Sprint had to completely take Google Voice off my Sprint line so I could receive calls and make calls. I was able to get Google Voice as my voice mail again but not the "integrated" way. Google voice gave me an error when I tried the integrated way. I'm guessing Sprint will be working on this the next few weeks and have it fixed...hopefully.
Any resolution? This same thing is happening to me. It's annoying.
Try taking it to a sprint store That has a repair center and have them take off Google voice that's what worked for me.
Good luck bro

I switched to Framily yesterday and experienced broken GV integration afterwards. Here is what worked for me: Go to your Google Voice website (sorry I'm to new to post the link), delete the mobile device and add it back as a new new number. Completes verification. Works again.

So the Framily plan is still compatible with Google Voice?
I swapped over to the Framily plan yesterday, woke up and found my calls/texts not working properly, spent three hours on the phone to fix it, and I still can't get GVoice integration to go through.
"Unfortunately, Google Voice integration cannot be enabled on this Sprint phone."
I just switched my unlocked Atrix 2 phone from ATT to Tmobile. I can make and recieve both phone calls and text messages. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get voicemail to work. When I dial the number, I get a menu that asks for my phone number and then says that it cannot find an account for that number. I've tried talking to tmobile, and there only solution was to wait up to 72 hours for the number porting to complete. Is there a chance that this is some setting I need to change, or will I just need to wait.
On a side note, if I try to enable a mobile hotsot, I get a message that it is not allowed by my att account. Will this ultimately switch/is there a setting I can change, or will i never be able to use this feature.
I cant seem to get my google voice to setup right on this phone. If anyone has successfully done this please let me know how you did it. Second problem is Im using the stock messaging app and every time I receive a text my phone screen turns on, is there a way to disable this feature?

I'm using GV. I had issues trying to get it to work at first. I tried a few things to get it working. First I just changed the section in call forwarding to my GV number. Seemed to work ok. But if I remember correctly To get it actually working I had to go to my google voice account on computer and go to settings. Then select deactivate google voice on this phone. It then gave me the code to type into my phone. Then I went back and hit activate my google voice number. Again it gave me the code to enter on my phone. After that I just went through install and setup for GV app on my phone.
The deactivating and the re-activating did the trick.

Awesome! Glad you got it working.
Or, if you switched carriers (and opted for a new number) like me, you can just disable the old number. I forgot to deactivate the old number before shutting off service to the phone.
i have the a21 and i have this notification now that tells me I have a new voice mail but i never set up voice mail and doing tons of online research i find none of the help does me any good.
when i go to the keypad and hold 1 then it takes me to the keypad again. i try to set up a voice mail number and it fails. it wants a password and because i have yet to set up voice mail i do not have one. i enter numbers and even my phone number and it tells me invalid and hanges up. so how in the world do i set this up ? or because i have a free lifeline from the wife's metro pcs phone i can't set one up?
but i want that notice off the screen it is annoying me and i can't get rid of it. i'm about ready to do a factory reset and then copy my app again from my old Tracfone.
could this issue be because this a21 boots with tracfone icons as i got it free from tracfone in january?
any help welcome. if i have to factory reset and it comes back i guess my next step is a hammer. i hate this sorry phone. see the phots of what i have and it jsut will not go away
thanks
ok so i called metro pcs ant they had to reprovision the phone, wow and i still have notice on the pulldown screen but they also said i did not have voice mail set up and that after i get it set up it should go away. when i tried to set up voice mail it asked for the password and i did not have one or know what that was and the metro person told me the password is the last 4 digits of the phone number. so i wonder why that info in not on the online help sites that tell how to set up voice mail? not even on the a21 website said the password was the last 4 digits of the phone's number. also metro told me that if i still have the notice after setting up the voice mail to leave a voice mail and see if deleting it will take that notice away.
i hate this phone. are all samsung phones this hard to figure out? wow!
