I have a problem with my S6, after install oficial room Android 7.0(sammobile), my s6 need kernel DRK :crying::crying::crying::crying:
I can't use my cellphone I need help please.
Try using smartswitch. That should help
Was the phone rooted? if it was, just flash custom kernel (re root the phone, most custom kernels bypass DRK).
If it wasnt, use Smart Switch emergency initialization. (not sure if this will fix the issue, but its worth trying)

after towel was released at&t released a update which fixed the patch that was used to root in towelroot. I have heard that there are alternative rooting methods which I have tried that involve Odin. For some reason though when I try to use Odin it always told me fail and after a certain amount of tries in bricked my phone which is now in a boot loop. can someone help get me out of that bootloop?
I also have another question. Can't you just flash a older version of android to your Galaxy s5 and then use towelroot to root it?

You probably had "fail" message because you hadn't disabled the option "Reactivation Lock" in Security settings before using Odin.
To fix your phone, just boot in Download Mode, then flash a working firmware for your S5. Do you how to do that ? Can help you if needed

Yes you can, but prefer using newer version for you'll have better performance and security updates.
Hello there, i just purchased a second hand At & t network unlocked galaxy s6 and want to root and install custom rom like noble rom etc in it because i am tired of At & t bloatware. so i want to know that how i can install it? is there any issues of bootloader locked etc? currently i am on lollipop 5.1.1 and software is up to date.... in odin menu it says
system status: custom
Reactivation lock: Off
knox warranty: 0 (0*0000)

AFAIK, the AT&T variant (920A) has a locked bootloader and therefore you cannot install a custom recovery image (like TWRP) to traditionally install custom ROMs. You may be able to install a ROM via Flashfire once you root via Pingpong, as folks in the Xstre ROM thread have reported they could indeed install that ROM (provided you're already on MM and have the MM bootloader/radio on the phone). I actually just returned a 920A for a 920I for this exact reason.
You may also find success in the "Samsung Debloater" tool, search for that - I used this on an AT&T Note 4 about a year ago and it worked well to disable the carrier bloat.
So to keep it simple My Phone was rooted for the longest and after I rooted it I had never turned it off ..until i did .
Now phone is FRP Locked so I cant install a custom recovery or custom anything for that matter
and If i use Odin to flash Stock firmware or Kies Or Smart Switch Phone ends up asking me to install DRK ...
After trying to fix it I just got an S7 but at This point i just want to see if i can still fix it... I have no fear of bricking it so i welcome any help yall can give me. Thank you
Hi Guys I have a SM N915P and i got it updated on 6.0.1 but i want to iflash 5.1.1 on it. i downloaded the firmware from sammobile but i cannot just flash it Odin Says Auth Fail.
I have downloaded 6.0.1 aswell but the problem is that the version i have downloaded is N915PVPU4DPE2_N915PSPT4DPE2_XAS and the bootloaded i have is N915PSPT4DPF3
just wanted to know wether i should flash this one or it will brick the device? also the device is unlocked and i do not want to lock it again as i have no contact the original owner of the phone.
I have been Doing Rooting and other stuff from years not an expert though but this device is making me crazy, No Root No Nothing..

i have samsung g928f edge phone, phone get flashed successfully to latest version 6.0.1 but after giving DRK err, when try to root with kernel or any other root file frp doens't let it to get flashed the file phone only go to download and recovery mode tried also downgrading to 5.1 but due to frp lock i am unable to flash the phone did lots of tires to remove frp with different tool but no luck phone is usless now for me can't flash can't root how to get rid of this problem ? updated to 6.0.1 with odin smart switch but same drk problem comes up
help would be really appreciated
