Can`t reboot to system, please help me! - Mate 8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have one Mate8 TL00(china mobile) 32G , OTA to B577(android 7.0)
Now i use srk tools unlocked bootload ,flash twrp recovrey. Rooted it. All OK
But when i use srk tool change omeinfo &custom bin to eu(c432),the phone can`t reboot into system.
I try to download recovrey in eRecovery, always failed(Getting package info failed)
Now the phone only can reboot into fastboot mode.
Please tell me how can fix the phone?
Thanks a lot

SRK tools backup custom.bin and omeinfo, How can i flash them back to the phone?

L-29C900B*** Problem no C432

Hello XDA-Guys,
i think i might found a Problem - i wanted to flash Nougat (B560)... it didnt worked via TWRP.
So i wanted to go back to stock B152 to upgrade via OTA Update.
And then i relised that my TWRP is backing up everyrom with C900B170! My Huawei Mate8 says its C900B180!
but the most thing that ****s up is that i install C432B152 from here - and when its done im on C900B152...
so orignal it should be C432 since im from Germany but i only get C900 - that sucks because only C432 get Nougat, right?
Or to sort the Topic:
Is the b560 still beta? I got my eyes on a online article that says huawei is rolling out B560!
If someone has some infos for me that would be fine.
The C900/C432 is not a problem for me so no troubleshooting needed - but if it denies me the Nougat Update then i need help ( if its not beta anymore).
Thanks guys
can you fix it? I have the same problem and nothing

@EGOiST1991 and @dexz I'm having the same problem. I am on C636B320 but it's shown as C900B320 so when I try to follow the guide to update to C432B560 it fails.
My plan was first to get the phone recognised as C636 and then via the srk tool debrand to C432 and then when in TWRP 3.0.2 emui 4.1 follow the guide to get to C432B560.
Now the problem I am having is that I don't know how to get my phone to go from C900 to C636... I'm the srk tool my phone isn't recognised when the tool runs adb server. I belive that is because it is on C900 to begin with, I have HiSuite installed on the computer (Win 10). The files, oeminfo and custom.bin, for C636 are in the tools folder can't I just manually put them in the correct location?
Edit: I have unlocked bootloader and I'm rooted FYI
Edit2: Gotten the computer to recognise the phone. But when I run the srk tool to flash oeminfo and custom.bin it stops at "waiting for device". If I run adb devices I can see my device number but after it says Offline.
An other problem I have noticed is that TWRP 3.0.2-0-next.img doesn't seem to accept my decrypted/insecure_boot_B320.img which is need to format data before flashing B560. The only TWRP version that accepts/hold the decrypted/insecure boot.img is TWRP_3.0.2-0_BLACK_BLUE_EMUI4.1.img

Yeah I am in boot mode but the srk tool still doesn't find my device or rather running adb devices returns device number with comment Offline. Which is strange because if instead go to fastboot and run fastboot devices I can see my device with no problem, so that to me seem like it's not an USB driver issue.
As soon as I am able to debrand to C432 I will give it a go again. At the moment I'm trying to find a way to manually change. I'm going to post a comment on QA for that.

No I give up! I love this phone but damn it is complicated to flash roms. All other phones are simple.
Today I tried again, this time by manually testing some steps which I don't know if they are correct since no one seems to be able to answer me. Any way which ever twrp I flash that isn't the one I'm using for flashing B320 won't boot or won't wipe data.
First Attempt:
1. Change build.prop (C432)
2. Change oeminfo file (C432)
3. Change custom.bin (C432)
4. Flash insecure_boot_b560.img by @franzyroy
5. Flash twrp-3.0.3_EMUI5.0.img
6. Boot loop booting to TWRP so FAILED
Second Attempt:
1. Flash decrypted insecure_boot_B320.img
2. Flash TWRP_3.0.2-0_BLACK_BLUE_EMUI4.1.img
3. Wipe Data
4. Factory Reset
5. Flash insecure_boot_b560.img
6. Flash twrp-3.0.2-0-next-modaco-rc3-emui41.img as suggested by @franzyroy
6. Boot loop booting to TWRP so FAIL AGAIN.
Third Attempt:
1. Flash decrypted insecure_boot_b560.img
2. Flash TWRP_3.0.2-0_BLACK_BLUE_EMUI4.1.img
3. Try flashing supersu_v2.79_sr2.zip get error about mounting memory
4. Try flashing
update_full_hw_eu.zip get error 7
Fourth Attempt:
1. Flash decrypted insecure_boot_B320.img
2. Flash twrp-3.0.2-0-next.img
3. Successfully booted to TWRP (woho! Maybe just maybe...)
4. Wipe Data failed, can't mount memory *cry*
Fifth Attempt, let's go back:
1. Flash insecure_boot_b180.img
2. Flash TWRP-3.0.2-BLACK-BLUE_EMUI4.0.img
3. Boot loop booting into recovery so FAILED
F*ck it, went back to B320!
I really don't know what I'm doing any more lol. I guess the last thing could do is go completely stock again (unroot and lock bootloader) by dload(?), rebrand from AL10 to L29C432, update via OTA to nougat and then unlock bootloader and root again. I just feel it shouldn't be necessary and secondly I don't know how to go completely stock again [emoji13]

Help with Mate 8 L29-C185-B580

Hello,
I tried to root my mate 8 nxt-L29c185b580
first I unlocked bootloader and install twrp recovery but happen an errors during flashing superSu and the root not work properly. I tried to return to stock but not work I tried B580 and B321 but not work on dload mode also the eRcovery not work, after that I relocked the bootloader but the device now is stacked with the boot and eRecovery apper without work , also I can not open the bootloader because I cannot access the product id from the dialpad
I need the stock firmware or any thing make the phone work please help
thanks
to fastboot
reboot phone, and power + volume down hold
if not connect usb and try it again
then unlock bootloader
twrp
wipe partitions,
you can install throght twrp
for flashing you can try this manual:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/how-to-install-nxt-l29c432b560-official-t3540042
if you want B321 i think, you need to downgrade EMUI 5 (with rollback)
or you can try flash B580
- you can try srk tools for unbrick
Ok

But I can not open the bootloader again from huawei website because I only have imei and sn but not product id (the phone stacked on eRecovery)
Do you have any way to retrieve product id via fastboot?
Which firmware you prefer to flash ?
Thanks
I found this method can any one explain how to do that in details
Also I need stock firmwares c185b580 and c185b560 where can i found them?
The method is
Hard methods, Flashing with fastboot
Download Tools and driver :
ADB-Fasboot-tools.zip –>*Download Here
ADB-Fastboot-Driver –>*Download Here
Huawei Firmware Extractor tool .rar –>*Download Here
1. Downloader rom (UPDATE.APP) put in Huawei Rom Extractor folder.
2. After you puted “UPDATE.APP in folder you first run “split_updata” and it will create “output” folder with extracted files(It script will not work without ActivePerl installed on your computer.)
3. After “split_updata” finished you need to run “HuaweiFinder” script and it will compile “system.img” and “boot.img”, you need cut or copy “boot.img”(18mgb) and “system.img”(1gb img file) in fastboot folder.
4. Reboot your device into bootloader(holding Vol- and power button)
5. Now follow this guides ->*How To Unbrick / Update Firmware Any Android Devices Via Fastboot Mode

Did you unlocked your bootloader and after that did you flash TWRP without reboot?
Maybe I'm wrong but when you unlock your bootloader, the phone automatically reboots into stock recovery and and immediately wipe everything (included your internal storage) and then reboots normally. If you flashed TWRP after unlocking your bootloader, your phone will boot into TWRP but it won't wipe anything.
I think that happened.

When I unlocked the bootloader my phone freezed too, so I typed in Windows cmd "fastboot reboot". After that, my phone was formatted by stock recovery.
You should reflash stock recovery if you have TWRP, so the stock recovery can format your internal storage, if not, your phone won't boot.

Here is the SP Flash tool, the download agent for Nokia's phones and the ROM unpacked
As SkaboXD said (i don't know if it were in this post or in other one) you must:
1- Download the files I provided you
2- Install SP Flash Tool
3- Choose the download agent
4- Choose the scatter
5- Press download and plug your phone (it must be OFF)
6- Wait and enjoy.

Good luck. :fingers-crossed:
You can flash again with OST LA. Or try to flash with SP flash tool the whole rom or just the recovery. To flash with SP flash tools you need a nb0 unpacker tool (my previous post have a link to another post with the tool link).
BTW feel free to ask something that you don't understand. :highfive:

Is like unlock bootloader, just change "fastboot oem unlock" to "fastboot oem lock".
But your internal storage will be formatted again by stock recovery, so you must have stock recovery installed.
After relock, your device will get ota updates, so you need stock recovery to install them.
I recommend root your device after all the updates, even you can install TWRP without problems.
I installed TWRP, root and installed stock recovery to get updates. Choose the method that you like.
Good luck. :highfive:

[Help] Need some help for a bricked L09

[SOLVED]
Hello there,
I ask for you help in order to unbrick my FRD L09
I was on EMUI 5.x, Android 7
I tried to root it and I bricked it, by Relock Bootloader et Re-Unlock Bootloader in order to make a wipe data/factory reset without any Recovery menu access
Now, i have:
- A Fastboot access
- Bootloader unlocked and OEM enabled
- TWRP fonctional with ADB working
I want to install the firmware, and that's where I fail:
With the RUFI method on Huawei Multi-Tool utility, I put my Update and Update_hw files, I let the software install and reboot the phone, and after a reboot I have the following message: "Software install failed!" "The update package does not exist. Please Download the package again."
Then, I'll be realy thankfull for everyone could help me to unbrick it.
Sorry for my brocken english, I'm french.
Sorry if i didn't respected any rules of the forum, i'm new here.

Thanks, but do you know if it's Ok to copy files on my SDCard using TWRP and then reboot ?
Because when I try to flash something like this with TWRP my files don't exists anymore after the failed install and the reboot.
EDIT: It worked, Thank you !
Now I have a ROM without keyboard installed, but this is another problem xD
Have a nice day.
