XFinity TV app

Can you guys find the XFinity TV app in the market (Web Market Link)? I can't find it. Can anyone post it for those of us that would like it?

I don't believe this is out for Android yet. I am waiting somewhat patiently for it as well. Status on Xfinity mobile site says coming soon.

It's available. It's in the market (I posted a link in the first post), I just can't get it from my GTab or my Hero.

Wont let me select my Droid 1 or my G-Tablet. Fudge

Ok. My pal ripped the apk out of his Epic 4G. It installed and runs good on my Hero, but I'm getting an error on the GTab. I'm rebooting now.

i found it and installed looks like it doesn't let me watch shows just previews. and lets me set the dvr.

Hey try this:
Go to the mobile app, then setup your listings, setup the dvr function it says it will take a few hours to be ready. Then see in a few hours if you can login via the xfinity tv app. I'll try as well.
I've also noticed in the 2.01 version of the Xfinity mobile app it will go into landscape while the 2.02 version wont. Just FYI

I tried using the verizon version. Loaded fine but could not set up because it wanted a phone number.

I placed an order on Nov 22nd with debit and it worked fine. I placed another one on Nov 26th with creditcard and that one went through no problems as well. What issues are you facing? Have you tried calling them? I'm from London, ON in case that helps.

Oh! That's what you meant. Man, I was looking forward to trying that out when my phone got here. But I think I read somewhere on xda that it should work here for some merchants... Have you personally tried it?

I had to sideload the Wallet app as it seems like Canadian Nexus 5s do not have the Wallet app installed. I received a message once logging in saying that Google Wallet is not supported in my country.

wallet is offered on their .ca website and if you scroll down it even has the tap and pay advertised http://www.google.ca/wallet/shop-in-stores/
but the FAQ says its only available in the states at the moment... pity http://www.google.ca/wallet/faq.html#tab=faq-general

There's nothing you can do right now. Wallet actually is installed, it's just frozen (take a look at Titanium Backup). Even if you defrost it you get the error that it doesn't work in your region. I even tried revoking location permissions for Wallet. You can apparently enter a fake US address and get further and try adding cards but your payment will always be declined when you actually go pay. Just going to have to wait for Google or someone else to step up in Canada.

Hi,
As it seems that Nexus Players have started shipping, has anyone gotten their $20 Google Play Credit email yet? Although I have received the "your item has shipped email" I have yet to receive the email on the Google Play Credit.

Nothing yet and I got my players today.

Nope. It's a Google Play Store credit, and you can't use it on devices. It's for content only.

From what I'm hearing, google is limiting what you can download to the device. Can someone confirm whether the Android Slingbox app is downloadable from the Play store for this?

You can download most apps in the real play store by going to play.Google.com on your computer and selecting your nexus player. You can also use an app like apk extractor on your phone, copy the apk to your nexus player and side load it

If Google was smart, they would let us use those credits to buy the controller. They would make more money selling us games.

wanted to know the very same thing but it seems like not alot is known about it

It's a scam. You have to complete "offers to prove you're not a robot" At which point they ask for all of your personal information and demand you complete other offers. Even after completing every possible "free" offer in the never ending trail of offers, the bottom of the cphoneunlocker.com web page will sit on a notification that reads "Go back and try a different offer." and below that "Waiting for offer completion.."

This site is completly scam.

Sorry for the late response.
I paid to unlock it with mobileincanada.com
I think it was $25 which is cheaper than my phone company who wanted $75
I've used that website for 4-5 different phones and they are good and relatively fast. I even had a problem once and they immediately refunded me so I can vouch for them.
I haven't found a free way to unlock the s5, but I stopped looking after paying.
