Just tryin something new.
Nothing else...
Heres the trend 2 years back.
Note 4
S6
Oneplus 3
P9 Plus
Mate 9
S8
All I can say is Mate 9 was the best phone I've used among the 6 models in terms of display size, battery life, faster charging speed, durability.
Waiting for the next mate to replace this s8.

Current phone: Galaxy S8
S7 Edge (since pre-order, sold it to get the S8 on pre-order)
iPhone 7 (bought it and sold it after 2 months. Bought it to try iOS again. iOS itself is fine, but the iPhone 7 has such a terrible display with 1/3th of the batterylife my S7 Edge has so I sold it).
LG G3 (bought G3 after having sold the S4. Had this for 2 months, one of the worst display's I've ever had on a phone....it was pathetic at best, even more worse than the iPhone 5S)
Galaxy S4 (had this for 3 years, AMAZING PHONE, LEGENDARY!!!!)
iPhone 5S (upgrade to S4 because 5S has bad battery life)
Galaxy Nexus (awesome phone!)
Samsung Omnia II (died after 2 years, it had salt water damage)

iphone 3g,iPhone 3gs,Motorola ATRIX, s3,note 3,note 5,iphone 6s plus, nexus 5x,redmi note 3 pro

Agree, the mate series are just awesome

I had the Nexus 5, followed by the Note 4, the OnePlus 2, OnePlus 3 and now the S8.
Honestly, I sometimes miss the OnePlus 3. Especially dash charging. I havent been charging the OP3 during the night at all. Always just popped it in the charger in the morning while I got ready for work and was good for the whole day. Can't do that with the S8.

i have bought a Galaxy s6

Hi Guys
yesterday i buyed a galaxy s6 and not the edge
used my note 3 for almost 2 years and i really liked the note 3
there are some strange options on the galaxy s6
i cant see a optiom to turn on multi screen
and there is no alfabetic option in the app drawer.
beside this everything is very stable and fast the battery charges very fast
Dont expect a huge upgrade from note 3 to galaxy s6
i think the note 5 gonna be a beast!
Beside this i want to thank all devs
for their great roms everyone thank you and see you
at the s6 froums
Bye bye

Your Title should be I have bought a Galaxy S6
The International version of the S6 and S6 Edge don't have an alphabetic sorting option, the USA variants do. You can use Apex or Nova for the customisation options.
Most Note users wouldn't downgrade to the S-Line anyway. The S6 is aimed at Non-Samsung users, not us. We're using a Note for the Spen and the big screen. Neither of which can be found on the S6.

Exactly this. I come to the end of my contract and have the option of getting the S6 but the only reason I would get it is to sell it again for nice profit. Note 3 running 5.1 (Temasek) is perfect for me... a Note 5 Edge might tempt me away.
Honestly, a qHD display is hardly noticeable on the S6, plus battery life would suck....

The note 5 would be a big s6

Umm, no. The S7 will be a small Note 5. Not the other way around.
Don't really expect great upgrade to Note 5....
Coz from my observation: Note 3 is based on S4, only the SoC is different.
Note 4 is based on S5.
From what samdung offer to S6, I don't really expect big thing with Note 5...
Note 3 is more than best in my opinion.
I use the crappy Exynos version, I might buy another Note 3 with the Snapdragon version instead of upgrading to Note 5.
I really hope Samsung keep the expandable storage and removable battery with the Note 5. If not, its no big deal but it would make a lot of difference when it comes to decision between the LG G Note or the Note 5. LG have come a long a way from their older devices....very powerful influence in the mobile tech world, severely underrated.

The Note 4 is reaction to user complaints from the backslash they got from the ugly S5. Note 4 - metal, not polycarbonate. The S6 is based on the Note 4, and the Note 3 is way more angular than the S4 to bear any resemblance.
Otherwise, the N9005 is great, Samsung stepped up their SoC game only recently with the last two Exynos processors.

Not the design, I mean the features included like sensors and smart-software....
And by minor upgrade I mean: only screen res and SoC is upgraded, nothing more...

Any point buying now?

I see T-Mobile has pre-owned note 5s in stock. Worth buying a 2 year old phone? I know they may release a note 8, but may cost 800+. Note 5 is 400 at T-Mobile.
I always felt the note 5 I had a while ago was more fluid then my s7.

Stuck between s7edge and one plus 3t

Hi fellas
i need some suggestions from users of s7 edge and one plus 3t. Now the year has passed and s7 edge is around 600 bucks for pearl black 128gb in my town and one plus 3t 64gb is 460 bucks.
Which one should i get for next 2 years to keep?
My prime requirement is the phone's battery and not much slowdown in performance after two years.
Camera for clear scanning of some documents and other office related tasks plus some occasional family photography and selfies etc.
Is it worth spending a little extra for s7 edge.
thanx in advance.
S7 edge is a good phone, buy the 3t is also. It has a higher benchmark. I was going to buy a 3t or P10 plus, but I chosen the P10 plus after using both devices. The 3t is newer than the S7 running stock Android with some nice tricks. The S7 is a solid phone but personally I think the 3t is the better choice, it definitely out performs the S7 regarding speed in my opinion. Antutu benchmark is 160.000

Worth changing my Oneplus 7T for a Galaxy Note 10 (exynos)?

As title says. One friend wants to change his galaxy note 10 for my Oneplus 7T (256gb version). Im a fan of both phones, i had the note 9 and then i jumped to the Oneplus 7T. I miss all the productivity stuff on Note series (including the pen features), but One UI is a little boring to look at.
Oneplus fast Charge is amazing and the phone itself is blazing fast. Some things i miss are the pen, water resistant and productivity stuff
Can you guys givd your opinion please?

Question Pixel 7 Pro/what device you coming from?

I've the S22 Ultra sky blue 512GB and getting the Pixel 7 Pro snow 512...
I traded in my work phone (iPhone XR) for the Pixel 7 Pro. My personal device is a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, so it will be fun to compare it to the Pixel 7 side by side. Ultimately I think I'll sell the one I like less.
that's my plan too.. gotta admit the S22 Ultra is a true beast...
I have a Pixel 4xl. I like it but the battery is terrible. I'm looking forward to Pixel 7 Pro.
S22+, love the feel but man that battery. Hope P7P doesn't let me down.
Iphone 14 Pro Max. Had it for a total of 23 days before I gave up on it. I traded-in my Pixel 6 Pro for it, so I'm using my backup Pixel 3 until the Pixel 7 arrives.
I may upgrade to P7P Depending on my OnePlus 10 Pro trade in at Best Buy or T-Mobile.
I'm coming from a Pixel 4 XL that I've had since the day it was released. Since this month is it's last update, I felt compelled to finally upgrade, and I'm so excited!

Same here... News to me about the updates. Glad I took the plunge but I'll still keep my 4XL for the free Google Photos uploads
OnePlus 9. Hoping that I like the 7 Pro enough to make it my primary but either way, with the trade in deals Best Buy was offering, my 12 Pro Max trade in basically ended up with them putting $30 in my pocket so I couldn't resist.
My main phone was a 21 Ultra but I tried a 22 Ultra for a week and hated it. Now I've had a 6 Pro for two weeks. I like the 6 Pro so much I ordered a 7 Pro for myself and the wife will get the 6P that has been working great.

You have 2 weeks to decide. Good luck!
Oneplus 10 pro. Tired of all the bugs.
OP 9 Pro, because it's not a good phone. I think the last good OP was the 7. And the OPO still to date has the best back of the phone.
Unlocked Pixel 7 Pro 512GB - soon to be gone: Unlocked Pixel 6 Pro 512GB - Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Wi-Fi 512GB - Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 512GB (bye, bye Samsung phones!) - Unlocked Google Pixel 1 128GB - Unlocked HTC 10 - Verizon LG G3 - Verizon LG G Pad 8.3 LTE (semi-broken, now TV for the cat) (finally died now) - Sprint Galaxy S3 - Sprint Epic 4G Plus (Galaxy S2) - HTC Droid Eris
I actually had a Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra in there somewhere, too, but I'm not counting that one.

What is wrong with OPP 9 pro?
And what do you mean by that "best back of the phone"?
