Notification drawer black after rooting UMI Z - General Questions and Answers

I recently rooted my UMI Z and had no issues doing so. However, after rooting my device, when I open the notification view, there is a black overlay on my screen.
I can still view my notifications and view the quick settings buttons but it's bugging me that I can't see the content behind it.
It works perfectly on the lock screen with no issues but as soon as the phone is unlocked then I get the black overlay.
Please, can someone help me?
I have an image of the issue, I can not post outside links yet so will send the image link on request.
Thank you in advanced

Quick Square screen - files location THL 5000

Hello guys,
Excuse me if I may be posting this thread in the wrong section but I couldn't find out anything about this topic.
This might turn out to be something very interesting.
The deal is that my boss bought THL 5000 which per my view is a good device. That phone, much like the LG G3, has a special case, that has a square cut in the upper part ( the one on the G3 is circle shaped). There you can see the clock, answer calls etc.
The issue he is having is that when the case is closed and there is an incoming call, the wallpaper of the caller is so light that he can't see the name of the person that is calling. I promised to help him, assigned a picture to my contact in his phone, called him but on the quick square screen the default photo remains. If I open the phone I can then see the photo I want but not on the quick lockscreen
Thinking it is quite similar as the LG G3 quick circle, I tried to find some information on where these files could be found through root browser so that I can replace the picture with darker one but to no avail. The phone is rooted and I am desperately trying to find a way of changing this caller wallpaper on the quick lockscreen access ( as stated above - trying to change contact's photo didn't do the trick)
Edit:Anyone have any clue?

[Q] Any way to disable lock screen tint with fingerprint unlock?

Hello,
I want to set my lockscreen wallpaper to a pure black one, but when I do, it is not actually black. I have read others on androidcentral having the same problems but have yet to find a solution.
Please see attached screenshot for the issue I am having. Note that the wallpaper used in that screenshot is 100% pure black, but appears grey.
If I change the screen lock to "swipe", it is pure black, but I prefer to have the security of the fingerprint...
My device IS ROOTED and I have xposed/custom ROM installed, and I am sure there must be a config file or something that I could modify to remove this tinting that is occurring. If anyone could help me out that would be awesome.
Thanks.
i have the same question, did you manage to solve this issue? thx
Hey Guys, I have a solution if your have xposed installed, look for a module called bright lock screen... fixes it perfectly!

Notification bar in need of fixing. Urgent

So I have an HTC one m8 running the GPE rom. I have never had a problem with it before until today when I could not swipe down twice to reveal my quick settings. The first swipe down shows my notifications like it should, but the second does nothing. Also In the video if you look at the top of the notification screen (after the first swipe down) the quick settings button is not there anymore. It won't let me post links yet, so the video can be found by Google searching 'notification bar in need of fixing' and it will be the top video made by me, Brandon Williams.

S7 Flat Notifications

Hi, i've recently aquired the Galaxy S7 and right now i'm really happy with it. The question is about how the notifications appears on the lockscreen or the notification panel. Somehow the quick buttons of a notification are visible more to the right and not well centered i think. That's the little problem, more esthetic than other thing but i want to know if it happens to all or is it just me.
PS: I attach screenshots with the version of Android, screen adjustments and the notification itself.
Thanks in advance.

Well, it actually depends on the app since not all of the notifications have those controls. So it's not a problem, because everyone has those controls to the right. But if you want to change those controls you must install a custom rom, otherwise there is not much you can do about it.
Are you talking about the clickable notification banners that appear in both the notification drop-down and on the lock screen? From your screenshots they don't appear to be more toward the right than the left to me. The text appears to the right of the avatar/app icon block, but that's normal in order to make room for the images. Or maybe I'm missing your point?
EDIT:
If you're talking about the RESPONDER and RETWITTER button links, they look very centered under the text body of the banner notification message. Again, the text body is positioned to the right to account for the image area on the left.

Sorry if my point doesn't understend very well. Yes, what a mean is about the RESPONDER and RETWITTER buttons and so the heart button, it has to say ME GUSTA or something like that. With my other smartphone (XPERIA Z1) this not happened. So this is why im consulting this, if it's something normal of GALAXY S7 or app related.

I think your screenshot shows them in the normal position. They are right-aligned within the banner rectangle and fairly well centered under the text block above them. You have to realize those links that you call buttons are themselves additional text, so will appear appended within the text block area which is right-aligned to allow for the image area on the left.
