[Q] Any way to disable lock screen tint with fingerprint unlock? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I want to set my lockscreen wallpaper to a pure black one, but when I do, it is not actually black. I have read others on androidcentral having the same problems but have yet to find a solution.
Please see attached screenshot for the issue I am having. Note that the wallpaper used in that screenshot is 100% pure black, but appears grey.
If I change the screen lock to "swipe", it is pure black, but I prefer to have the security of the fingerprint...
My device IS ROOTED and I have xposed/custom ROM installed, and I am sure there must be a config file or something that I could modify to remove this tinting that is occurring. If anyone could help me out that would be awesome.
Thanks.

i have the same question, did you manage to solve this issue? thx

Hey Guys, I have a solution if your have xposed installed, look for a module called bright lock screen... fixes it perfectly!

[Q] Help needed theming lock screen

Hello fellow users.

Can you post a picture? As from the description it just sounds like you want... Well nothing .
If you want that just go into security and set lock screen to none.

Lockscreen Background Dim

I have noticed after my latest factory reset that my lockscreen wallpaper is much dimmer than it was before. Has anyone else noticed something similar? Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?
In case anyone else has this issue, I found a fix to the problem over at Android Central from user Cajun_Fan:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s6-edge/514775-lock-screen-wallpaper-dark-instead-full-color.html
When you got it, in the Lock screen and security. If you had Swipe set as the screen lock type, did you set Unlock effect to none?
If you did, change it to one of the 2 choices and then try to go to the unlock screen. You should see your pic come up just like the pre-installed lock screen wallpapers. Then if you change the screen lock type to something else like Pin or fingerprint or any choice, it should show your pic bright, as long as you leave the unlock effect to either water droplet or sparkling bubbles.
I think it is a bug with using none on the unlock effect, that carries over to any mode of unlocking.

Notification drawer black after rooting UMI Z

I recently rooted my UMI Z and had no issues doing so. However, after rooting my device, when I open the notification view, there is a black overlay on my screen.
I can still view my notifications and view the quick settings buttons but it's bugging me that I can't see the content behind it.
It works perfectly on the lock screen with no issues but as soon as the phone is unlocked then I get the black overlay.
Please, can someone help me?
I have an image of the issue, I can not post outside links yet so will send the image link on request.
Thank you in advanced

cant change lockscreen?

Hey guys i cant seem to be able to change my lockscreen on my s7 running nougat. I installed acDisplay and it worked but would then go to the samsung lockscreen. Any one know how to disable or change it. On other phones there was an option for this in default apps this phone doesnt have this.
Thanks in Advance.
I have a related question: I have an app that changes my wallpaper every day, but it doesn't change the lock screen wallpaper. In previous android phones there was a setting to have the lock screen be whatever the home screen is, how do I accomplish this on Galaxy S7?

Lockscreen notifications greyed-out

Hello all,
The notifications icons appear greyed out (and almost invisible) on my Note10 lockscreen. Even the fingerprint marker is concerned (see screenshot).
Would you happen to know a fix as I can't find anything to turn it back to white font in the settings.
NB : can't (and rather wouldn't want to) use any Good Lock option cause I'm region-restricted plus I prefer fixing it without that.
Many thanks for your help and support.
Update : I managed to install Good Lock and LockStar (properly working) but I can't fix it either with this option.
Any clue on how I could change the color back to white?
