I was trying to flash my S7 using odin and I was having trouble getting it to downgrade; I kept getting a Fused 3 >binary 1 error. I read somewhere saying that they checked "T Flash" on and so I did that. Odin said the pass and my phone turned off. Now it won't turn back on. I've tried holding all combinations of buttons to no avail. When I plug the phone into my pc, my pc makes the noise recognizing it being plugged in. Does anyone have any ideas? or am I SOL? :/

Hi
T Flash for what I found out is for and quote:
T Flash: T Flash option in odin is for Samsung boot recovery via sd card. This option is checked when we are going to make Samsung boot able sd card to fix or unbrick Samsung dead boot devices. In this case we must have Samsung original boot recovery.tar file for the exact model witch we are going to unbrick. We must have same and full working phone in hands. This option is used in new Samsung Qualcomm based models that allow boot from external memories. I will explain how to recover Samsung dead boot phones with sd card but in other post i will try to leave a link in this post. So T Flash option is to make a boot able sd card from full working phone to unbrick other Samsung phone.
You need to follow an specific procedure to use that option , no just select it and see what happens..
If your phone does not turn on and/or can get into download mode your options are very slim.....if you can turn on keep trying to get into download mode if the phone is not in a "normal" state it may take several tries before you get the correct timing.....
If the phone is on but there is no way you can get in download mode you may need a usb JIG
If the phone is not coming on at all.....well if is in warranty take it to Samsung , if not take it to a repair shop there are some specialized boxes out there that maybe can help
last thing you are in the wrong forum check here

maybe there someone can help

Hi,
I rooted my brandnew GT-P3110 with cf, flashed pacman and cwm recovery. I do not blame anybody alse for my issues but myself. I guess I messed up the restoring of NON-system-apps:
After a day of troublefree use the tablet randomly rebooted and came back with the message "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.". No booting into recovery possible, no booting into download mode, no regular boot. Just the same message over and over again. Battery is unremovable.
I installed Kies, updated it, it downloaded drivers but under "emergency recovery" my tablet didn't appear. I then followed the "Firmware Upgrade and Initialization" procedure wich downloaded the necessary files but aborted with a korean text shown in the attachment after replugging the tablet. I tried this with 2 different USB-cables on several USB-ports. Kies btw asked me to remove the battery (not possible) after entering device number and serial-number. I turned off by pressing the off button instead and it turned on again.
I uninstalled Kies, rebooted, installed the samsung drivers manually, rebooted. I installed odin 1.85 (and later 1.3) and downloaded my contry's stock firmware (and later a newer version of the same firmware and another country's stock) from sammobile. I tried to flash them first without "repartition" ticked, later with it ticked but without a pit file (i can't find it!). I got four different errors, two are attached, the third was somethign like "cant write (line 1876)" and "cant write (line 1440)".I tried three stock firmwares with two version of odin with two USB cords on everal ports on ONE computer. I remove the tablet every time, exited odin every time, run it as admin, disabled firewall, xp-antispy and antivirus. I'm on Windows 7.
Besides a million other threads I found this one, but I wasn't able to solve my issue with it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1652398
For 48 hours i tried to solve this problem by myself. Now I hope to find out if there's a point in continuing or if I can give up and throw away the piece of samsung.
Cheers,

I am having the same problem with a P5113. Started with stuck at the Samsung logo. Then I tried a flash from Odin that didn't work. That led to the "Firmware error" screen telling me to use Keis. Keis fails to find the tablet. Odin still sees it but doesn't get a good write.
Now all I get is the battery icon when plugged in but that's it.
Things I have tried:
1) Two versions of Odin
2) Different USB ports
3) Different PC
I also let the device sit over the weekend to completely discharge. Still nothing.
Did you (or anyone else) resolve this issue?

Dude had the same issue on my galaxy S2 and resolved it. I downloaded the
The .pit file for my gt-i9100g (http://data.hu/get/4697903/omap4_all_20110627_emmc.pit)
The stock ROM from sammobile. (http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/2/)
The JB Bootloader
The stock JB kernel.
Opened odin v1.85.
Then i used the vol down+home+lock keys together to try to open the download mode ( but ended up in the "Firmware error " page) and connected phone to the pc. It shows "Added!" in the message box.
Repartition with the .pit and it will reboot.
Disconnect
Get into download mode and install the bootloader and it should reboot when done. Disconnect.
Get into download mode and connect
Installed the kernel through odin and reboot
Download mode again and install the ROM through odin.
If the phone gets stuck in boot loop (samsung logo over and over),
get into recovery mode ( for s2, vol up+home+lock, it needs to be pressed intermittently)
Then do a full format along with wipe cache.
And then the phone finally booted completely. . Good Luck.
Note: I'm not sure to boot into recovery and download are the same key combos as it was for the i9100g.

Thanks. Well, I understand the theory. I have had trouble finding a PIT file that I am sure is for my device. I did save a PIT file but I think it is corrupt because using it requires me to let the battery die afterwards to get back to download mode. Same for the bootloader. I have a few things I've tried, but not sure I have one that is exactly for the GT-P5113 (in fact, I never did find a JB for the 5113 just the 5110 and it never would load).
Well no amount of coaxing has put life back into the tab
I may try again out of curiosity, but rather than invest more time I went out and bought a 32G Nexus 7 (2013 version). I would still like to get the Galaxy Tab alive again -- it has corrupted the flash twice before and each time I was able to bring it back to life. Not sure if this is an actual hardware failure or if it is just beyond partitioning.
I have a feeling if I had the right PIT and the right bootloader I could get back in business.
I can do each thing you mentioned, but my device is not getting detected by my PC. When I insert USB it says USB not recognized and it is not detected by Odin, adb and anything else. I am stuck on Boot Logo for my P3100 and when I go into recovery, it says USB not recognized. Fully messed up. Can you help me out here.

No. I finally sent it to one of these ebay guys who will JTAG it since I was too lazy to wire up one of my JTAG probes. They worked on it and said it was simply dead and the only alternative would be to replace the flash chips.
Bought a Nexus 7.
I've got the pit files for P311x and P3100 on my website https://sites.google.com/site/jrc2swebsite/downloads/samsung-galaxy-tab-2-70-p31xx
So I went to flash a Rom with Odin and now I can't get past the recovery screen. The phone will not show up when I plug into USB either. Is this phone officially toast?

Hi mate
You said past recovery screen in recovery mode?
What firmware you flashed with odin , which files ?
If you can get into download mode there is hope still... can you? , go to recovery factory reset see if you can boot now , if not flash again firmware with odin , to avoid losing data use your home_csc file if that does not work flash again this time using CSC and checking re partition option in Odin
The phone orginally was stuck in a boot loop so I downloaded what I thought was a working Rom to fix it. Apparently something went wrong because now all I can do is get to hard reset recovery screen. I can wipe cache and format and all but it does not do anything.
I tried to plug the phone onto my computer and nothing happens now where as before it would recognize as a s7 and would recognize in Odin.

Yea OP, as above, getting into DL mode sometimes takes a few attempts, keep Volume Down & Home & Power pressed until the phone reboots twice, after the second reboot keep them pressed and see if it boots into download mode
AFAIK with the demo units you need to flash the G930F firmware to them to unlock
But still no modem or fingerprint reader even after that iirc
But I can't used my pc to flash anymore. It does not show a device connected like if I plug in my s8.
The picture shows where I am stuck
Ok I got past that screen in dl Mode and found the right firmware or so I believe. Odin freezes when trying to add AP file. Without it my phone stays on the load screen. Help!

Try booting into recovery and factory reset
I got a real cheap cell phone to have it as a backup cell phone, it already came soft bricked, I was able before to enter into download mode. So, after lots of attempts (even I had already fixed other cell phones with same issue), Odin would say PASS but phone would continue with the same issue, stuck in logo, nothing else, no loop or anything, just stuck in logo. For my last attempt I tried flashing 4 files, including PIT file, and theeere it is, stopped working. So, I actually bought a usb jig and did not work. Any other suggestions? I gave a look into a youtube video titled "FIX DEAD / Unbrick Samsung Galaxy S3 i747M - Easy Method using SD card & debrick image" and it looks pretty solid.
Anyway it doesn't get detected by odin, can't access download mode nor recovery mode. I have tried different ways to fix it and the only way without sending my phone somewhere to service is to boot the phone through sdcard.
Those who have the debrick.img file from a stock sm-g318ml 4.2.1, would you be kind and send it to me so that i can try fix my samsung galaxy neo?
thanks again

Does the device at least vibrate when you hold the power button? If it doesn't then the sdcard method won't work.

What u have to do is hold power volume down and home until the downlaod screen appears and it will get ur screen off the error screeb with smart switch being the only option and to download mode. U then flash a factory firmware with regular odin. Jist the ap. I then got my phone back and running. Now the bigger question is how to downgrade to the rev1 from rev2? I ask oh and it gkes into download mode from the screen ur currently stuck on after it restarts twice while holding said buttons. Now u got to tinker a little to get odin the state device added. Simetimes it would add on the error screeb sometimes on the download screen. Ill try to find a link to the firmware i ised that worked for me. Metro?
thank you
Thanks for the tip!!!

For me, the best method to flash rom is using odin..not smart switch or anything else..
Looking for some help please! My phone battery died the other day, I plugged it in to charge and turned it on at 3% battery life only to get stuck in a boot loop.
Did a factory reset and then successfully flashed with odin and current firmware G930TUVS9CSC1. After flashing it went to installing a system update screen only getting to about 32%, then it said erasing for a while and went back to the samsung startup screen stuck in apparently the same boot loop I started with.
Is my phone screwed or did I miss something? looking for any help, thanks.

It sometimes does this, make sure the firmware your using is correct for your device and flash again.
UNCHECK "auto reboot" in Odin
Disconnect when flash complete Do Not Turn The Phone On
Reboot into recovery volume up+home+power
Wipe cache/factory rest
Reboot

interesting, it worked fine before this started 2 days ago. I guess maybe the sim card reader broke? theres definitely no dirt in there and it seems to make a good connection (tried a new sim card had lying around and it etched lines into the sim card nicely).
Also I should mention that I had no clue what I was doing and flashed a dozen or so different versions of firmwares probably like 20 times, so maybe I caused it.

Er.... Yes!
You have to flash the correct region firmware for your device or you end up with problems like you have.
Search for the SamFirm tool on here it's great for getting the correct firmware direct from Samsung servers.

Okay well that tool's forum post says it's deprecated so I followed the alternative link to updato and got stock 8.0 from there. Flashed phone, everything works 100% but still no sim detected.
I'm wondering If I broke my phone because I even tried some custom rom with a pit file and probably did that wrong as well.

First MAKE SURE you are flashing correct firmware for your device.
What device do you have and what country?
If you are sure it's correct. Flash again with Odin but uncheck "auto reboot" in options.
When pass appears just disconnect phone, it doesn't matter what it shows on the screen.
In this sequence press and hold the following... Volume down+home+power.
As soon as the screen goes black move your finger to Volume up while still pressing home+power. It may take several attempts.
When recovery menu appears wipe cache partition then reboot.
Leave phone go through boot sequence, ignore what appears on the screen during this time it is normal. This boot should take around 5 minutes.
EDIT: FIXED, I did what you did, but for that to work I had to flash it without the hidden.img. Then it rebooted and got stuck on the logo again, but i was able to boot into recovery. Thank you so much.

Hey, thank you for responding.
I'm not 100% sure it's the right one
Device: Samsung A510M
Country: Argentina
Carrier: Personal
I downloaded a firmware from sammobile matching those specifications, but it fails at the last step with hidden.img.
This morning I downloaded another firmware through samfirm, but that one fails at modem.img instead.
I will try your instructions with either of them.

To be clear, I only need to repeat this part of the process, not reinstall the firmware every time, correct? I've been trying to do this for a while, but it just shows:
"An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software."
