HTC Touch cruise had to be commercialized since 29th november.
In France, Only Surcouf had 10 pieces at the end of december.
So, where is it ?
I start to ask myself if I will study to buy other pda because i can't wait now more than 15 days.
HTC, are you thinking you can take customers as idiots ?
I was hoping having TC for christmas then for the new year and now, i have phoned to the big french store and none of them have order this model.
And no way to know which store will be selling the phone. I can't contact HTC.
Please, HTC, don't sell phone you don't have in stock and don't be surprised your sells was bad in december !
Ziggy
You can find HTC cruise on pixmania or materiel.net sur expansys.fr sur ldlc.com but not before the 16/01.
ps:si tu le trouves ailleur avant dit le moi
I am searching the HTC TC with illimythic SFR subscription but illimythic will end the 22 of january, argghh and it's less expensive to buy the HTC TC with a subscription (about 150 € less i think, maybe more)
PS : d'accord

There seems to be a problem with the HTC TC. HTC stopped delivering the TC. They will restart distributing the phone in week 9.

It's Dutch. The posting says that HTC is expected to start shipping TCs in week 9, so orders will be shipped in week 10. At the moment, it is unclear why HTC can't/won't ship TCs.

Is the timing of this and the court decision against Qualcomm just a coincidence?
True, I have just e-mailed the HTC company to ask for some more info about this... I just can't wait 2 weeks, and I'm getting crazy by the idea of waiting another 8 weeks:
Dear sir/madam,
Today I have received the message that you have postponed the HTC Touch Cruise (the NL and UK version) to week 9.
I wonder if this message is true and what the reason was for this drastic method. I call it drastic, since I have been waiting for this phone since half November (from the press release) and the fact that you already have postponed it before, in the beginning of December.
So could you tell me what the major issues where, and why you need to postpone it? The only complaints I have heard was that the video playback was shocking and that the camera was slow, but that this was a problem with the Qualcomm chip. Will that be fixed with the new generation of HTC Touch Cruises? Or shall I try to buy one of the UK models which are on the market right now? What's your advice on this point, is it worth waiting for?
Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to your reply.
Regards,
Bart van den Hengel

I've checked with my supplier (Belgium - http://www.sergevandermaesen.be/) and he confirmed me that my order will be on its way to arrrive Wednesday. So obviously not all suppliers have this issue?
"But don't you think that your second option meets the HTC Kaiser/Cruise production too....??"
yeah thats the irony of it that they are being blamed for both not getting them fast enough to the users and for releasing a product which people feel is not compleat
HTC S**kZ! They don't answered to my e-mail! I'm waiting for 3 weeks.

Ho hum ... I was flamed for this all last week, but I stand by what I said: until the thing is actually in the retailers with known (demonstrated) specs and price, I will put out NO $$$
If my copy gets in Wednesday, I'll be sure to test it in the afternoon/night and let you know, price was € 530, about $ 778.
Maybe the new delay is because of the Qualcomm issue, maybe it's not. First batch of Cruises was/is already out and is being sold in the retail (I got one 2 weeks ago).
Surely interesting to see there is yet another delay, even though it's already being sold. It seems that the shops that are selling the Cruise already are running out of stock quite fast.
Anyway, let's hope the delay is for the good. Maybe an upgraded firmware (dare I say:"Video driver"? .. nahhhh ) or perhaps something else that has to do with Qualcomm and their adventures. Let's just hope it's the last of the delays and more of you people can start and enjoy this new device.
I didn't see this posted but a friend/source of mine says that AT&T will be releasing the Fuze in the states November 3rd for $300 after $100 rebate.
Flame on if I missed this as obvious news
Date for ATT Fuze
Hello, Release is listed as October 23 for the Fuze release. ATT is releasing the Omnia around that date as well, I do believe the O is on the 21st.
Jon/Beachboyde

Read the entire thread. There is a stock sheet saying 23rd. Regardless, it's getting close. As far as the thread in this section, you're only a month or so late =p

ive been keeping up with that fuze thread since it started and the fuze thread before that. i saw the sheet with the 23rd on it thank you
are you the same person who put on engadget the 3rd with no evidence?
Really guys, really? Are you going to get on this kid for posting useful info when all you have are unreliable dates from a sheet (check the releases of the other phones, they don't all match up)? I'd definitely believe his November 3rd date.

Sadly, no, I did not post on engadget and have only posted here. I don't have proof other than the text from my manager buddy who said he got a price/release date sheet and the Fuze was on it for Nov. 3rd.
I'm not a newb and didn't go around flailing about with this date. Just posting some info I got is all.
wow, people are gettin' grumpy lol fella releases some honest info, and get shat upon lol.
Hurry up ATT, the junkies in this forum are startin' to itch...
p.s. @OP, TY for the info! <3
Instead at looking at sheets or taking people's word for it I'd rather believe my local ATT cooperate store which tells me they will have the phone avaiable one week after their training on the 16th of this month. Putting the release date at the 23rd.
Earlier the better but I trust corporate stores as much as the government.
well if it doesn't come out until Nov.3 then that puts it close to the release time of the Touch HD. I still haven't made up my mind on whether to get the fuze just for 3G or get the Touch HD and use it on Edge like my Touch pro now and enjoy a much larger screen and better camera.
Nov 3rd seem like it could be true i dont see why people or bashing on him for giving us some info...i remember the diamond had a release date that everyone thought was true but it didnt release until a couple weeks later for sprint...all we should care about is that its actually will come out for ATT...oct 23 and nov 3 thats less than 2 weeks apart from one another...thanks for the info by the way
I'm only saying that giving info without proof is why everyone is upset. By the way the guy waiting for the Pro or the HD thats an easy one Touch Pro since the US will NEVER get a Touch HD in the US, it's already been officially said that there will be no touch HD coming to the US. Also I'm not sure if some have had bad expierences with cooperate stores in the past but my store last year gave me a date for the TyTn II release last year and they had it in stock a day early so yea I'm inclined to believe them, the NYC cooperate store near my house is usually very reliable and don't guess release dates like some other places.

I'm not trying to start a fight and am glad that the 23rd may be a possibility too.
I wouldn't be myself if I didn't say this though...where is YOUR proof You can't get on my case with 'well my store told me this'.
I mean this in the lightest of moods, so don't get angry...besides, after reading, it looks like this device suffers from the same "it's a business device, not a media device BS" that I got with my Tilt...and I won't go on that train again.
Well, if it comes on the 23rd then at&t will beat sprint out of the gate as the sprint version has been pushed to Nov 2nd. Plus, I have not seen any official previews of the fuze anywhere on the net. Or did I miss something..? The sprint version has youtubes all over the web with official previews.

Yes, and at the time that sheet was released Sprint's Touch Pro was set to release on the 16th. Sprint's got pushed back to November 2nd, and I believe the exclusivity still plays a role in the fact that they're the first carrier to get it, so AT&T may have had to push their date back to the 3rd. It makes perfect sense, and the training dates wouldn't be delayed if they already had them set up.

exclusivity i believe doesnt push others back when one carrier delays theirs.
like how att keeps delaying their bold im pretty sure other carriers can bring them out withint the time frame specified when att originally should have had it out

I'm sure thats a place holder date. Companies usually use the last day of the year as a place holder.
Amazon is saying June 9th and HTC reps are saying Mid June.

I'm just feeling disappointed as HTC does not treat customers with respect and it's not offering what every other phone makers would offer - a type c to 3.5mm converter and an accurate release date, which are both costless but important to customers.
I've been a fan of HTC since I got my HD2 many years ago, but this year I'm kind of disappointed with their attitude to its fans.
I am in Canada and is like the US , I still waiting mine.
Actually, I didn't want to react to it at all. But from what you've said, I have to write it ironically. You already had $100 discount codes, we Europeans didn't even have anything like an HTC Club. You already received promotional gifts when we didn't even know there was such a thing from HTC. You didn't open your mouths back then and said all fans should get the same options/discounts, so don't complain now that things are going the other way around. Honestly: everything balances out in life, and now we have just drawn the lucky one.
In general I say here in all frankness, just leave this America first attitude at home, and think sensibly for once. It is fair that we finally enjoy the benefits that you have enjoyed for years. This year it's just Europe first. Maybe there will come a time when it will again be the other way around.

Seriously this is pretty melodramatic because you had to wait a few extra days to get a phone.. HTC never made any promises about the release date to any country. Some regions of Europe got it early, lucky them. HTC doesn't owe you ****.
Knowing HTC phones and US carriers I can almost guarantee that HTC is taking every second it can before shipping to the US to ensure full compatibility with Verizon, T-Mo, and AT&T. There have been issues with the past couple of HTC phones so it makes sense they are trying to get it right.
I am eagerly awaiting my day one pre-order too, but it will get here when it gets here. HTC isn't treating you unfairly or discriminating against you.

Hi, I think you mistook what I said. The $100s coupons and gifts are what European customers get, not American or other regions' users. There's no HTC Club in the U.S but Europe.
I didn't mean US should get everything first. Actually I'm not American. I live and work in the US at the moment though. And I don't think I have the US first attitude.
The reason why I thought the phone would be released in the U.S first is that HTC held MeetU events in the U.S. first. I went to the one in SF and had an opportunity of getting hands on the phone, and at that time when I placed my order it said June 7th would be the release date.
I'm just feeling disappointed as HTC does not treat customers with respect and it's not offering what every other phone makers would offer - the converter and an accurate release date.
Amazon.com has had a solid release date this whole time. Originally, it was June 7 when HTC said the U12+ would ship in June. Now, Amazon says June 21 when HTC now says will ship in July. As for your other questions, HTC barely has a presence in the US anymore. When Samsung took over the market share, HTC stopped being carried in US stores (besides Sprint for the U11... and 10? I forget). I personally just don't think the US is a major priority for HTC anymore. Without being in stores, it's really difficult to move units... And maybe they stopped trying to get into US stores because it was costing more than the profit they were actually making before? The same thing happened with Blackberry. They've been struggling (as we all know) and haven't been in all US carriers either.

the only reason they arnt a main flagship carrier in the US is because of bad/lack of advertising while samsung constanly has consistent S series phone line while HTC has been all over the place with naming of phones and Samsung runs ads on television and youtube constanly, HTC just needs better marketing out in the US market, also my few cents here but can all the EU/Germany people cool down when someone from US posts they have a right in their own country to speak freely no matter how you may view their thoughts, so plz be respectful, all the original poster was saying how he feels that germany and all the EU markets are getting the phones first when the US market still hasnt gotten theirs still and even im kinda sad about that as well, it has nothing to do with entilement it has to do with a sense of fairness

USA is one of the regions where HTC U12+ was earliest announced and the SF and NYC MeetU events were the first two chances where fans had the opportunity of getting hands on the new phone. I thought HTC would treat US customers seriously, but by now it has done everything to make us unhappy instead.
1. European fans have been receiving their phones since last week or earlier, but in the US there's not even an accurate date.
2. European HTC Club members enjoy a fairly good discount, while US TeamHTC members get nothing at all.
3. European HTC Club members get a types-c to 3.5mm converter for free, but US customers will have to buy one by their own...
I really can't understand HTC's marketing strategy. At least it should treat all customers equally, right?

Before I cancelled my preorder, I was to pay £629 with the HTC club discount. With a quick search online, $799.99 is £608. So that pays for the free dongle we get.
As for customer support, my bank card was cloned, and HTC have been just about useless helping me change it to my new card, so I won't get my preorder at all, so I cancelled it. At least I emailed them to cancel it and they haven't replied.
I agree customers should be treated equally where possible, but unfortunately HTC are almost sunk and doesn't seem they have the means to do so anymore.

There seems to be a missunderstanding between the two of you. The HTC Club discount for the U12+ is the first discount many countries have ever gotten in Europe. The US, on the other hand, got several discounts and gifts*, in the past. That's what @5m4r7ph0n36uru is referring to.

I think the network situation is gonna get better with tmobile/sprint merger as everyone has moved to GSM from CDMA and sprint is the last remaining CDMA carrier so i only expect things to get better after its finalized as i used to be on sprint and am happy with tmobile, i didnt make the move right away tho i tried at&t/criket wireless and it sucked and turned out to be more expensive when u want data, where tmobile im part of a company plan and get "unlimited" data where i only got slowed down if i needed to tether from an isp internet outage and was downloading games from steam but when i was it was usable after that still and phone call coverage wise its more usable than when i was on sprints, also are you gonna be making a debloated rom OMJ for this phone really liked the bad boyz rom for when i had the M7 when i had sprint?

I also came here for the same question
I remember reading that for the US it'll be out this Summer. A month away yes, but I feel they kinda always had late releases for this region.

P.S. sorry for the link, I can't use normal link, until I will posted 10 posts
gonna be this or ONePlus 7 for me. Sucks that they aren't giving a release date, late release is gonna drive people away.

Could just buy it from Gearbest, for a small premium. They have the version C (best for US networks).
Even the few places that are selling it, don't have the Silver version, which I'm waiting for. Nobody on YouTube seems to have it either.

When I tried to preorder it said it'd ship 'The week of July 9th' on the UK store.
EDIT: It says July 9th 2018 which is just a placeholder date. Support said to check back at the end of today (24th May)
Link? I only see the global version at Gearbest.

It was previously listed as VC. Now says global and doesn't specify what that is. But I highly doubt it's VA (what's in Europe), since Gearbest stuff all comes from the Far East.
Why buy an EU or UK phone when it can't be that far off from getting a US release? Patience (says the person with very little of it).
EDIT: First post on the forum and I screwed up. I should have read that there are only A, B, and C versions to match to. Heh.
I think Amazon is official Asus retailer but I can't find Zenfone 6 as preorder in their list yet.
Pre-order starts today.

Just chatted to Asus customer support. Date of 9 july isn't right - they will know today when stock is arriving and will be updating shipping date at some point today, with preorders also updating and going out as soon as stock arrives. Ordered mine yesterday and very much hope (and expect) it will be in my hands before July.
