Phone bricked? Anyone got any advice or should I just buy a new one. - Honor 8 Questions & Answers

So after problem after problem trying to root my phone.
1-Twrp crashing when trying to install SuperSU
2-phone failing to mount /Data when wiping etc (Formatting data to other types wasn't working). I got desperate and entered some guy's cmd suggestion into fastboot.
This is when my phone crashes and displays RGB blocks and will only reboot into eRecovery where it says Download latest version and recovery, but cannot find the package info.
Berate me. I have brought shame on my family. Any miracle advise before I buy a new phone?

No access to twrp. As much as I beg it, it just goes to RGB then eRecovery. (Give me the word and I give up)

the same problem happened to Vikram ( the guy who owns an honor 8) ,he just send to service care, they said the motherboard is crashed , he repaired under warrenty[[ note ::your phone should not display the boot warning ,otherwise it won't come under warranty ]]

Sorry, i'll be more concise. Thanks for this btw.
I can't get into TWRP, it reboots into a screen with a green background and a blue square and red square, then to the Huawei eRecovery screen that says "Download latest version and recovery", "reboot", and "shutdown".
FW is firmware yes?
I'm not certain, I was on the latest EMUI
Model is FRD-L09

No it doesn't say any of that, just goes to the RGB
Do you think that because I had to register to get my OEM unlock code, does that mean they won't do the warranty?

Ok, give him to service and i'm not sure what say in service. Talking about twrp, bootloader... etc isnt the best idea. I dont know, just happend when you turn on device... or somethink like that

I will do definitely. I'll get back here in a week or so

All fixed!
So it was quite simple really, I called up Huawei giving an appropriately vague but true description of what had happened (obviously not mentioning any rooting or anything). I guess it helped that the "this phone is unlocked and not trusted screen" doesn't show. They organised for it to be taken in and fixed, then a few weeks later they sent it back fixed!
Praise Huawei!

5. I wiped out everything including internal memory. and the phone now looping at the 'Huawei logo'
5. So I wanted to restore back to the original rom and downloaded some rom from Huawei website for 701L, when I press the +,- and power button it shows fail, some incapability things....
what shall I do now? I really lost now. please help!!!.. I just need a working phone:crying::crying::crying:

I think the only thing maybe could work is that you put a universal CUST on it and flash a "normal" ROM on it than.

After flashing OpenKirin, and not being satisfied, all i did was following the steps to restore
the phone back to stock, flashed original recovery, locked the bootloader, but after all was
done and it was time to reboot, all i got was the blue honor screen, and nothing worked.

Do this now:
Boot to fastboot and unlock bootloader
Then flash TWRP latest version
Then flash the B380/381 firmware zip files with the hw zip file before the update.zip
It should now boot properly and you can relock bootloader after that if you want to.

Just shut down your phone then while holding the volume down button connect the cable to your phone. If it still doesn't work try changing cables. You surely can enter fastboot mode regardless of what you have done.

Yes, you only have to write "fastboot oem lock" . If you need to download an official image to get your watch clean, you can download it from https://developer.android.com/wear/releases/wear-preview-downloads, but download Oreo version, not Pie.

Question Hard brick

Hello good to all,
It turns out that I have the device with a hard brick and I can't find a solution to repair it, I've been looking for a similar thread, but nothing. It won't let me in, it's not fastboot, not in recovery or anything, and if I turn it on normally I get: The current image have been destroyed...
How I got to this situation, was after rooting the device with a tutorial here, which worked perfectly for me. It was later when I had the great idea of closing the bootloader with the rooted device, and since then it gives me this error.

1)Just go to service center , if phone is in warranty , they will just flash the device with STOCK ROM using msm tool (best )
2)however they might even replace motherboard for no reason but that will also fix the device (time taking)
3) last option is to use paid msm flashing services costs from 5to 10$ USD , you can find them by Google search (risky)
I had about the same problems, my GT Neo 2 does not load fastboot further. The cyclical startup process is repeated.
Stupidly, I understand now, I decided to wipe data in TWRP recovery
This is what it looks like - youtube
I tried to install custom recovery from this topic, all stages passed without problems, but at the end after rebooting fastboot loops
Have you solved this problem, if so, in what way?
udp
installing this method
but root I couldn't get here
I tried to unlock twrp using the magic installation, but the problem described above appeared
I think I have the same problem as others. Realme appears and restarts continuously. It does not go into fastboot because the boot loader is blocked. What can I do?
