If you are on B106SP01, you need to downgrade to B106 to update to B107. Find Downgrading process below.

Now B106 is available for all. Huawei has also released B106sp01. You have to be on B106 to apply update.
Whats new in B106sp01 :
- Double tap to wake works on all devices. you have to turn it on via chinese app that is installed with this update.
- some minor stability fixes.

All updates are incremental push, so you have to be on previous version to goto next version. i.e. You have to be on B015 and then upgrade to B102. Then apply B103, then apply B105 and then apply B106.

- Double tap to wake will work for some devices (because huawei had employed 2 different display unit manufacturers and they have fix for only one of them)

Huawei is not pushing SP01 anymore. You need to save ota zip for sp01 and then only you can go back to sp01.
Right now for downgrading you can goto B013 and then update sp01 if you have it. otherwise OTA update for B015 is directly pushed now.

Have you tried flashing this http://download.chainfire.eu/740/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip in TWRP after you updated to the Beta? Whenever I wasn't rooted I flashed that and it rooted me. Then all I had to do was update the binaries after bootup. I also found what appears to be the apk to install double tap to wake. I'm sure it needs to be supported in the Kernel for it to work but if you wanna try it I uploaded it here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/ci9m8043otadsfj/DoubleTapToWake-GEM-703L.apk?dl=0

I don't have SP01>B015, but have B013->B015 OTA. let me now if you need it.

I tried su zip through twrp. Device went into boot loop again. Not working. Only method it seems possible is to extract boot image and insert su into it. Like @dfsteen did for b013 and b012.

Very sorry bro. I don't know how it got deleted when i was reflashing B102 EMUI 3.1. Anyways its just 70 MB, If you are on B013, it will show up in updater.

What region of the world are you in ? because it is not showing up for me as an update to B13 in the updater

Can I just update from "B013_Kangvip_v2" to the beta EMUI 3.1/Android 5.1 beta build? And will this automatically unroot me?

I am registered for all betas, maybe thats why it showed me update from Sp01 to b015. Now that we have B015 full build available, you can directly install it and then update to 3.1

What is the correct path to upgrade 701L ?

I have GEM-701L with B005 firmware. I want to upgrade to latest/best firmware. Please answer :
1. What is the best/correct firmware for this device ?
2.Would it work with LTE bands that 701 is designed for ?
3.Do I have to move to B015->B109->B111->B112->B209->B211->KangVIP ?
4.Is there a simpler/faster way to upgrade to B201/B209/B211 ?
4.I've tried upgrade to "GEM-702LC158B201CUSTC158D001 android 6.0 test version.rar" but it fails on recovery and won't install.
5.Do you have working links for 'B112 cust mod' and KangVIP roms ? as for todays his Google drive says files are gone ?
6.What do you think about KANGVIP-B111-SLIM-GAPPS_(4pda-MOD).zip ? Do you have a working link for this rom ?

6. I come from B111 Kangvip, i wouldn´t go back.

After long battle I got to latest KangVIP however it is important when moving from 701L 3/32 to update cust in order to get right info in About Phone. I had different buzzing from the speaker and sudden reboot but flashing 106 img files and universal cust 112 and then B112 was needed. What is more dload update went fine but only from SD card and not internal.

_Rom Nougat beta official was the experience of a copy of the Middle East, EVA-L19 Bkod state C185, but since it worked on this version is likely to work on the rest of the copies of the Middle East, EVA-L19 exclusively and 85%,& work with dual sim

Upgrading BLN-L21C185XXX to android N BLN-L21C185B342

Hello guys, I am writing a tutorial for first time so please don't mind any mistakes
so let's get started
1.first of all please don't use this same method to update any other Huawei devices, this guide is only for BLN-L21C185B131 or any build with BLN-L21C185xxxx
please note that even if you succeed to update and use Android N on other builds you will still encounter a lot of bugs and problems like missing features, no file manager,system update option and many more...
2.Please take a complete backup of your data, the update may don't erase the personal data but still I think you wouldn't like to risk your data, I lost my data during flashing other firmware updates
**** 3.download the Huawei firmware finder and firmware proxy finder from playstore
**** 4.open the firmware finder and chose model BLN-L21C185 (note:you can check for build number in settings>about phone)
(Note: select first four options in Huawei firmware finder app settings)
*** 5.Now take this step very carefully otherwise you may encounter various problems, chose the update BLN-L21C185B342 which is in size almost 2.05 GB , for this purpose you need to use a Wi-Fi connection
*** 6. Now firmware finder will open firmware proxy finder which you have downloaded and follow on-screen instructions to configure Wi-Fi
*** 7.Now select send update to updater or firmware update to updater/system updater
7.1 go to system update in phone settings and check for update
*** 8. Wait for it to be downloaded and let the phone install it, Please be patient and don't do anything stupid
*** 9. you will get EMUI 5 with Android N after some time..
If you want to ask anything feel free to ask me thousands of time... Update is working like a charm ... everything is working fine without any issue
Now the bugs/features I didn't liked in this update are
1.Missing App twin and some other features like that which are clearly mentioned in official website of EMUI
2.We can still open the notification panel from the lock screen even when the screen is secured with password/finger print/pin/pattern
so these were the cons of this update which I think will be removed in final release
if you're comfortable with that cons then go ahead and update Good luck

So now instruction of installing:
1.download oeminfo of CN
2.extract it to your sd card or otg
3.flash my favorite twrp
4.go to twrp in restore part and after selecting storage restore oem info.
Notice: if didn't find oeminfo backup
Do a backup of your oeminfo then replace files with CN backup
4.select reboot system
5.will take you to eRECOVERY then select
Download latest and recovery
6.select a wifi network and download the rom
Notice: if you saw sth is not working well
Just plug in the cable to phone
Hold power and vol+ button to go to eRECOVERY then download it again
Also you can flash my CN STOCK ROM FLASHABLE BY TWRP:

How to fix imei problem is some countries:
As you know this is CN variant so will make some network problems on some operators
First unlock your bootloader and root your phone.
Second by root explorer go to :
Cust/All/CN/prop
And open local.prop
And remove this line from that it is in multimedia part:
ro.config.full_network_support=true
Then do a reboot

Just has a few chinese apps those can be uninstalled easily
I have edited rom a bit so now can't send screenshots
But just know
Has some more abilities and more compatible with kang roms
Means no bug

if m not wrong only hi app will be in Chinese & music player is different from international version.

My TWRP no read folder with oeminfo on SD card.
Is not it simpler repack oeminfo file in .zip file and install normal from "Install" menu...after change partition to ext4

Yes i try...and I create folder(dload) and move CN system version here....
After restore(replaced OEMINFO) and press vol+, vol- and power erecovery start and on 5% get error "system install failed"...not compatible with current version and brick

restore it by twrp
in twrp there is a part its name is restore
and for installing rom go to erecovery and press download latest and recovery will download and instal

Finally rebrand to CN, after 2x time download full OTA...first time in build number i get name "NTD90M test keys".
One big problems on Chinese PRA-AL00 is task manager. Working so much agressive. If clear apps in "recent apps" i no see notifications if no open again aplication.
I don't know how to fix this ?

this is a good ability for saving battery
you can add apps to stay awake in background in battery settings

I recently bought the honor 8 lite PRA-AL00XC00 Chinese version and am having trouble syncing my apps and google account, so I would like to debrand the Chinese version to Indian version PRA-AL00XC675 but I did not find anywhere a tutorial for this , I also did not find the Indian rom or even the OEMINFO of this version. can you help me?

hi Axan ? will i tested your trick i do all the way in eRecovery and I installed the rom Chinese PRA-AL00. All work fine but i have a problem with the Build Number it says NDM-test.....
so i can't update also if i boot to do a factory reset it charge to 25% and say errors !!! why the rom don't install normally like the European model ?
