Huawei Music v. 7.3.0.312
No root
In the Huawei Music app, song info, editing title, artist, album the dimension of the Mp3 file increases every time I modify the information of the Mp3.
(The Mp3 file increase of the original dimension of the Mp3 file......for exemple if the starting file is of 3.2 Mb ..... first reaname the file becomes 6.2 Mb.... Second rename the file becomes 9.3 Mb..... And more)
Whit the Music v. 6.xxxxxxx all is right!
What I can do to resolve this problem?
Thx in advance.

No matter what song I play from my MicroSD card, the whole Audio Manager just shuts down after about 30 seconds or so of playback. If I use the Music tab in my Manilla2d, the playback just crashes. I don't know why and I can't find a solution when using the search tool.
What's weird is that the songs all work fine in Windows Media Player.
Any help is appreciated.
What Pocket PC model are you using?
Sorry, I forgot the simplest of information.
I'm using an unbranded HTC Touch Cruise (Polaris), the official WM6.1 ROM and I installed Manilla2D on it.
Are you sure you have the latest builds of manila and audio manager?

can you post a screen shot cause i have only seen upto ver 1.2
I have the Audio Manager that comes with the build of Manilla2d I downloaded. I think I got it from freewareforpocketpc. I downloaded the exactly same thing for my HTC Touch Dual a few months ago and it worked fine. It also worked fine when I only had one song on my phone and that was in My Documents on the device itself.
Attached is the .cab and a screenshot of it.
Can anyone help me with this? It's really annoying. I have to settle for WMP to listen to my music and I don't really want to.
I had a similar problem - Audio Manager was using 99% CPU when it was trying to play 2 MP3 files in particular. Using WMP on my PC, I looked in the Advanced Tag Editor and under "Comments" there was some info which was not in other MP3 files. I removed this info, re-downloaded the MP3s to my phone and it started working.

Did you find a solution to the problem? I increased my music collection from +2gb to +6gb and now experience this same problem. I even re-encoded the MP3s to WMA, lowed all files to 128kbps, no folders, or album art, but same problem. The 2gb collection was resample to 96kbps to save on space. I haven’t tried that yet on the larger collection.
HTC Audio Manager ver 2.0 (build 1819.3326)
Edit:Solved - Well, for me. If any of the folder have files names FOLDER(2)(3).JPG etc, remove. It’s fine to leave FOLDER.JPG & FOLDER1.JPG.

Thanks for that. I will try this after I update to AM 2.0 again. I'm currently using 1.0.
Anyone encountered the "Can't load AAC decoder" error?

Where this folders and folder's names usually are?
Ok I now can tell you that by using a program called Bulk Rename utility I renamed all of my mp3s and anything else in the directories that had any ( ) or { } in them. This seemed to work as for the first time I was able to listen to at least 5 songs in a row... Will test further but I believe this will fix it for good.... Thanks again to Silverexp!
Hi, when i got my memory card from my moms old phone and put it in my touch pro the music was sorted by artists and so. There was a folder with the artists name inside another folder called "predefmusic" and the mp3 files was in the artist-named folder. But when i put my music on the same way at the memory card it doesnt work... Anyone knows what´s wrong?

Its hard to assertain exactly "where " your music is not working due to the vague manner in which you asked your question.
If you are referring to the music tab in manila, if the files are tagged correctly, manila will sort them correctly.
The music files can't be tagged with ID3 v.2, but anything less should be fine.
Ultimately your file structure would be artist with an accompanying jpg and then each album folder under that artist with an accompanying album cover jpg.
Manila then creats another Album art .jpg to fit the tab.
My music is set up the same way that Bruce mentions (\Storage Card\My Music\Artist\Album). I suspect that what you need to do is update your music library if you're using wmp or the tf3d player (which sucks, imo) or something like kinoma. If you use tcpmp, it doesn't keep a music database. Instead, you use a file explorer to select music to play or create songlists (mort player is the same way, I think).
Is it possible to impalement the playlist features including the following:
1) Added multiple folder and files into MX Player playlist
2) View and Edit playlist by MX Player playlist UI
3) Indicate the current playing file during playback on MX Player playlist UI
4) Import popular playlist format like m3u, m3u8, and wpl into MX Player playlist
5) Export MX Player playlist
Thanks!

It's also one of the the planned features of 1.8.x.
According to the developer it will be supported later via minor updates to 1.8

We regret to inform you that the playlist feature is unavailable at the moment. However, you can select the folders and files and start the playback from the menu or top bar to selectively play the files. Hope this information helps you.

I saw the option that the bult-in music player could show lyrics to my music. I used MP3tag and added tag: UNSYNCEDLYRICS with my lyrics lik that: xxx||Lyrics which was working on my computer but unfortunatelly the default EMUI music player on my Honor 8 did not show anything.
So I am asking your help kindly that how should I do it because I would like to see the lyrics of some songs when I am playing them and swiping left the album cover?
I think the default player only supports LRC files not MP3 tags.
it supports lyrics files.
but the files should be renamed to .trc issted of .lrc and should be placed in musiclrc folder in sd card
How do you even do it?!
I have an honor 8 too but dont know how to add lyrics please tell me
Here I mentioned how can you add Lyrics in Default Huawei Music player

You need to create a .srt file with the lyrics and put with the same name of your song in the same files directory of your song. I recommend that you download a lyric from any song and edit it with notepad ++ on your PC, this will ensure that the lyrics structure is correct.
I tried it with a couple of songs and it works just fine.
