Hey all,
Anyone else find that PowerAmp does show on Lock Screen when music plays? Anyone know how to enable?
Thanks!
Go to Notifications & Status Bar --> Notifications Management meju and from there enable Poweramp to be visible on lock screen
OR
From the notification that appears whilr playing music drag it right or left slightly unless you see a gear button, click on that and change lock screen settings
If no notifications are displaying on the lockscreeb you might need to adjust your lockscreen notification settings.

OK that's one thing that works. It's functional. Thanks.
I was hoping to enable the media lockscreen with the album art and music controls rather than a notification.

That you have to look into the theme section. K believe that's a themeing issue or more precisely lockscreen type issue

Hmmm I am not really sure that it's a theme issue since the media lockscreen works for the system media player but not Poweramp.

Yeah Poweramp is the default music player but I can only get it to display notifications on the lockscreen.
For the music player that comes with emui5, it automatically uses the media lockscreen, even when not the default music player. I have the lockscreen set to magazine.
Seems many people have this issue but no solution.

What do you mean in your first quote? Currently, yes I have Poweramp showing as a notification, with no other option to activate the media lockscreen.
And yeah my battery lasts well. Today isn't a good day since I used it for music alot, which I don't always do. Normally it will last a few hours longer than this.

Well maybe my screen on time is the culprit. Gonna try to screen off my phone often to preserve batt. As for the Poweramp, it the same for me. I tried google music and it uses the media lockscreen gonna try with other music apps to see if poweramp or the medialockscreen is the issue
Update: Tried several apps and I can say that the media lockscreen is maybe integrated to google play music and default music app. Just hope that someone will make a workaround about this
I found a solution!!!!!!!!!!
1. Go to Notifications & Status Bar --> Notifications Management meju and from there enable Poweramp to be visible on lock screen
OR
From the notification that appears whilr playing music drag it right or left slightly unless you see a gear button, click on that and change lock screen settings
2. If no notifications are displaying on the lockscreeb you might need to adjust your lockscreen notification settings. ENABLE "show all notification and their contnts" in lock screen setting.

Hi all, anyone know of a way to maintain the Play Music app as an ongoing app? If for whatever reason the app closes, you must relaunch the app to regain the quick play features in the notification pulldown.
Coming from an iPhone, this is one feature I would love to get back.
Thanks

Not really sure how to make it ongoing, but you can put the Play Music widget on one your homescreens to quickly start it from where you left off if it closes.

Try installing a music player that has a widget such as mxplayer so you can just resume the music from the home screen.

Actually I found an halfway working solution. Using Notification Toggle, I set up a shortcut to play/pause music. Unfortunately is starts/stop the last music app used so it defaults to the stock app. Have to start Play Music first in order for it to work properly. At least it works anywhere

I dont understand how HTC doesnt see an issue w/ this. I used mog and pandora and it stops multiple times during my work out. Its really annoying to have to stop, launch the app, and then hope it continues when i lock my phone again.
Hi guys i have a little request, i want that the music controls on lockscreen(that in our stock player they appear when the music is playing) are ever on lockscreen also when i'm not playing music...i'm a noob in android editing then i'm looking for some advices to make this thing possibile!
Thanks in advance!
You can install "widgetLocker" and then put the music widget in lock screen .
You can put many things like shortcut , widget , apps , slider and many things with this app .
But this app can be killed with any task killer So you MUST put it in the *on going to make it stable ( open it setting --> advanced --> show notification icon )
It takes about 10MB from RAM
*on going : I mean notification center

Thanks i knew yet that there was this app...i want to edit the music player stock because he have yet this function(of controls on lockscreen) but they are active only when i'm playing music...i think that somewhere in the system there is something that i can modify in order to "lock" the controls on lockscreen also if i'm not playing music...my problem is that i don't know much of Android OS, then i asked here where we have got the best developers in the world
I thing LG can do that but there is a reason . If you think deeply you can notice :-
When you play music the music app will be kept running and takes from CPU & RAM and when lock the phone it kept running to play the music so you can access the controls . I mean the controls is a part from the music app . So when you stop the music the app will be closed
So if you want the controls kept in the lock screen you must keep the system running the music app and then takes from CPU & RAM even there is no music played . Then the battery will be lost faster.
I think that but NOT sure about it

Oh.. I remember you can install "Go Locker" (it is free) it is very very stable with exactly what you want . install it and select the default theme . it is too easy to use .
The music control stays always just swip the clock and you will find the controls.
Trust me .

Thanks for help OS_Hacking...but my idea was to edit LG's music player not to install external app(that occupy RAM)..besides i can tell also one thing...when i pause a song and lock the screen then i unlock the commands disappear...then i think that the thing to modify is very small...but i don't know Android's structure and i can't tell where modify...thanks in every case!

Actually I may have just figured it out. Make the first context (maybe: music apps open) then select the task to perform. Then on the main screen long press on the first context you made and press add. Add your second context (plugged in, or whatever), then do it again for your third, etc. Let me know if that works!

When you are at the lock screen, try swiping down the screen, starting at the clock in the middle. It should slide out the weather. It is by design. At lock, the widget area starts minimized everytime. You can swipe it open, just like swiping open the notification area.
Hope that helps!

I'm loving Chronus, especially on the lockscreen . For the record, to get it on the main lockscreen page, you hold the clock icon on the lockscreen and remove it like the standard homescreen widgets, and then press the add button, and select Chronus.
Chronus has been cherry picked to AOKP. For the life of me I can't figure out how to put the weather widget on my screen (not lock screen), the clock is fine. I've searched high and low, I wonder if it's broken for the rom.

Go into the Chronus settings and enable the weather features there, it will automatically add the weather data below the clock then. Also, make sure you have expanded the widget box to make enough room for the extra info to show!

Screenshots:
Works on SGS3 4.1.2.
This is the best notifications app I've tried so far
A bit laggy but works on my Xperia Z 4.2.2.
Would be great if both apps would be merged.

Ok, works very good.
suggestion: build some kind of filter, I get notifications from xprivacy, titanium media sync and apps I installed through the web playstore. Notifications which I personally find not interesting enough to display on the lockscreen. Maybe something like: "press 5 seconds on the notification to put the app on the ignorelist"
I would pay for nils+ by the way, how much is it gonna cost?
---------- Post added at 08:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:16 PM ----------

@Roymam I have NiLS from the Play Store installed as of right now... do I have to uninstall that version, then download and install v1.2.5r2, then download and install NiLS+ v0.5r5?! Thanks man, awesome app, been using it for about 2 weeks now, used to use DashClock but find this much better!!
EDIT: Nevermind v1.2.5r2 just went live on the Play Store!

Feedback
Hi!
I´am using this fantastic app from the start and helped with the first translations. A great project!
Here is my feedback for the new extension:
1. There are apps that add always new lines to the same notification. The problem is that new lines are added to the end of the list. But I need the newest line on top (it´s also an issue with the main app).
2. It happens too often that you accidentally swipe down and kill all entries. There should be a symbol to reach (match) or something else (like you have to do to unlock to the app directly).
3. I would be great to delete expanded notifications my dragging the icon on a symbol like a trashcan
4. How about a system where you can flip through all expanded notifications or display the next one after deleting the current?
5. There should be a mode where you can use the extension together with the widget of the main-app to have the configurable clockfaces...
Keep on rockin!
