I reported back to the wrong thread out of frustration. Here's my report :
Reporting back after trying to redeem my replacement device through Samsung Premium care. Well they sent me to t-mobile and tmo processed an order immediately. Although I did have to give them a credit for the new device , charge will be reversed once they receive the defective phone. Samsung Premium care is not ready for a subscription based platform. I was informed its a 3rd party company handling things. Not sure they are in concert as of yet. Paid beta program.

Maybe, but the Samsung screen is gorgeous and that's coming from an iPhone 4 user. I know the sensation has a qhd screen, but the super amoled plus is impressive.
I just want to get my hands on a sensation. Am soooo impatient!
I thought the release date was the 18th.
Have just spoken to them on the phone and Vodafone aren't getting them until the 18th and may not dispatch until 19th was the message I just got????

That's what I am hoping too. Also I believe that if anything goes wrong with the handset you can just take it back to the store rather than sending it back?

I always upgraded over the phone and got the phone posted to me but went into store for problems

I think with orange you have to send the handset back if you get it online. O2 told me that after the first 30 days I can go instore. Not sure about the other networks.

I lost my phone and made a claim for a new one through the insurance I pay for with my plan. I later found my old phone and the screen is cracked but it still works.
Since I claimed my old phone as lost, can I sell it or does the IMEI number cause any issues for the person who purchases it? If so I may just opt to sell for parts only.

the old phone's IMEI has been blocked from Verizon's network. It would be a misrepresentation/fraud to sell it without disclosing that.

You can sell it for parts or you can just sell the whole phone with the bad ESN. Some people will find some way to flash it to work on cricket or something along those lines.

It is nearly impossible to take the screen off the frame of GS3 once it is applied.
You'll require a lot of heat, but with that kind of heat may damage the existing screen.
I contacted Samsung about sending my phone in for warranty and I got something strange back. I wanted to know if this looks right to u.

Well what happened to the phone that u had to send it in? Warranty only covers manufacturers defects and software issues granted you haven't flashed custom Roms
Edit: sorry just read it again.. that rep has no idea what they're talking about. It should be the other way around

Well to be honest , phone is working perfectly fine.. just because I can get a brand new one I am even thinking about it

They won't replace it for sure, you have to take it to the service center and get it in written that the phone can't be repaired, then only Flipkart will replace it #Experienced

That's my thought exactly!
Looks like they're trying to get rid of the remaining stock.
Probably means nothing but my hope is that they are going to release new products. I don't see why they would enroll into the Android P beta program just to drop the phone a few months later.
If you want to release a home device you need a customer base as big as you can get. This is one way to increase the numbers.

I managed to snag one of these literally minutes before the sale ended. Bought it, went back to the page 30 minutes later and it was back up to $49. Can't wait to get it, may need to get a different case though.
