I flashed a wrong recovery.img and that's it the phone wouldn't boot. If I connect to pc companion it just shows blinking orange light but is not detected. This is what I have found out
1. the phone is struck in a bootloop which drains all the battery -- Press the hard reset button at the back of the phone to break from this loop
2. Put the phone on charge for a while ( now it should at least show a steady orange led indicative of charging) as this is needed for software repair
3. Use software repair in sony pc companion for restoring stock android os. -- if the phone is not detected when you plug in while holding volume down key, then release the key once and again press and hold it while the usb is still connected (this worked for me)
4. once the phone is detected and repairing has started the process may fail in between and pc companion may say repair failed!(don't loose hope) -- disconnect from pc, press hard reset button again and repeat steps 3 & 4. ( the repairing process will resume and will be completed slowly)
Note: If your phone is struck at sony logo or is not fully switched off press and hold the power+volume up key together to first switch if off and then connect to pc companion

Good afternoon to all of you
I have a Nokia 3 in recovery mode.
Moving with the volume up / down button I can turn off the phone and go in fastmode.
I correctly installed the Nokia drives of the phone but connecting it in fastmode and typing in console the adb devices command is not detected.
Use original Nokia data cable.
I tried to move to all USB ports on my PC but the result is the same.
Precise that after turning off the phone and holding down 10 seconds the power button always returns to recovery mode as well as in recovery mode putting it in reboot system now it always restarts in recovery mode.
I thank in advance any suggested suggestions to solve this problem.
Thank you.
I dropped my Moto G – annoyingly only a few months after I'd replaced the battery. Now it won't boot up.
If I plug it into a charger, the 'battery charged' icon flashes on and off alternately with the LED light.
If I connect it to my Windows 10 PC, I repeatedly get the notification message "USB device not recognized: The last USB device you connected to the computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it."
If I press Volume Down when the phone is connected to the charger, it will enter the Fastboot Flash Mode screen, but if I select Recovery or Normal Powerup nothing happens – it just goes back to the flashing 'battery charged' icon. I haven't tried the other options.
If I press Volume Down when the phone is connected to the PC, it enters the Fastboot Flash Mode screen, and this time there are no Windows USB errors. From a command prompt, fastboot devices recognizes the Moto G. So I think there may be hope!
How should I proceed from here? I can use fastboot but not adb. I'd be very grateful for any help.
so I just tried to install unofficial TWRP 3.5.0 on my Samsung galaxy a125m and everything went fine, Odin said done. Then I just tried to start TWRP by pressing power and vol up and it didn't start, so I thought I might have done something wrong and rebooted to download mode and flashed it again, Odin said done, then I unplugged the USB cable and now it won't boot, neither to the system or recovery, even to download mode, it did enter download mode a few times before but I pressed the wrong button and had to cancel and enter again, now it won't even enter download mode so I can't flash stock rom to fix bootloop... pls how can I solve this I'm desperate
when I try to enter download mode by pressing volume up + volume down it just shows up charging mode without any numbers, then it turn on and shows Samsung logo, unlocked bootloader warning screen, and the Samsung logo again, but then just restarts and repeats all again...
when I try to press volume up + volume down + power, nothing really happens...
someone help me please
You need to keep both volume up and down pressed, then plug in the charging cable. It should enter download mode, no need to press the power button like in older samsungs.

Is the cable plugged into a charger and on?
Have you considered that your volume buttons may not be working?
Same hear
Try attaching your phone to the PC, and then pressing volume down + power to reset the phone, (for about 7~8 seconds) then immediately press the volume down and up buttons, that's how I recovered from it. Tell me if it worked

Please help it dosent worked
No pc detection
No download mode
No recovery
No charging
Hello, unfortunately in these cases the only solution is to enter download mode, check if any button is damaged or if the cable works and if it is well connected, press the buttons harder, hold down the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time , by pressing the strong buttons, for about 6 seconds and then connect the cable. If you don't try another cable to see if that's the problem there is no other solution as the phone is not recognized by an app that can put it into download mode when turned off the solution is the one I already told you about. I hope you have fixed that problem. Sorry for my bad English.

I am having a similar problem with the Samsung A12 SM-a125u
I never could enter into this "Downloading mode".
I tried flashing the stock ROM through ADB with fastboot, and I have another problem that I've never seen before: ADB can see the device while in recovery mode, but fastboot can't. And so it won't allow me to flash the ROM and I don't even know how Odin is supposed to help yet; I think I needed to enter Downloading mode for that, but I can't get into it.
I'm working on this phone for a friend who was given it because his friend's mom doesn't remember the password to it. Does that matter? It's worth noting that because of that I cannot get in to turn on OEM unlocking or dev mode, but idk why that would come into play in recovery mode. Also, the model indicates this is an AT&T phone, and tutorials online have acknowledged this model in their "applicable models" list at the beginning of their tutorials, but I know that carrier phones can cause problems all over the place (stop buying carrier locked phones people!); is this a problem?
How the heck do I flash the stock ROM to this this?
