Moto G bootloopand won't boot into fastboot - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

well, hello everyone here, yes, as the title says, my moto g is just stuck on the motorola logo and that's it, i bought this phone to a friend who told me it was the motherboard that was f****d up, but when i got home y just pressed vol - and power just because of instinct (i actually don't know much about this phone or motorola phones itself) and it enteredinto fastboot, so i was like: 'ok..... i've just bought a treasure' and everything relatively ok, i browsed through the menu options to see what was available, i pressed Recovery and the phone just turned off because it was low in battery (before all of the fastboot and stuff when i press power, the white led just blinked and that was it, it wont even boot into Motorola logo). Ok after seeing that the phone was low battery i disarmed it and charged the battery with two cables from and or usb i peeld just for this situation. After leaving it for like two hours i put the battery again and was stuckd into the Motorola logo... nothing hard, but what is pissing me off is that now i CAN'T BE ABLE TO BOOT INTO FASTBOOT and it's just stuck booting o trying to (when i connected the battery the phone turned itself on). Now i don't know what to do, i'm desperated, please, help me

I have exactly the same problem. My moto g doesn't stop trying to start uo even if i am not pressing the power button. When I connect it to the charguer screen turns on and says o% battery, then it tries to turn on itself. Have you solved this problem???

@duvaldavidr @jorgearnaiz998 Any of you had any luck?

[Q] VZW Moto G (1st Gen) Boot Loop

Device Info:
VZW Moto G (1st Gen)
Android 4.4.4. KitKat (Stock)
No root, bootloader locked, never tampered with
Problem:
I set my phone down on the kitchen table and left it there a while. When I came back the notification light was blinking so I tried to turn on the screen, but nothing happened. Eventually I hard reset the device (held down the power button until the device started to reboot). The phone showed the white boot up screen with the planet Motorola logo, but rather than continuing with the boot animation, it hung there for a while before going to a black screen. I have left it for hours, it never progresses past this point. Sometimes it will reboot itself and try again to no avail. I was not installing any updates when this took place.
Attempted Solutions:
I held down the power and volume down buttons and went to bootloader. The battery was listed as low. I let the battery charge overnight and tried the bootloader again. The battery is now listed as OK, but the phone still won't boot. To be extra sure it isn't a battery issue I tried different chargers, outlets, and laptop USB ports for long periods of time. I am convinced this is not the usually "phone will not charge when turned off" problem. I also attempted to hold the power button down for long periods while on and off the charger. No results.
Resigned to take drastic measures, I tried first recovery and then factory reset from the bootloader screen. Each time I am returned to the white screen and then the black and nothing happens. I do not get the distressed android logo at all. I tried to unlock the bootloader to install a custom or factory image, but this is not allowed for the Verizon version of the Moto G.
I am out of ideas, having tried everything I've read on other posts with similar issues. What can I do?

[Q] Battery Dead

So on Saturday i decided to update my Moto G (XT1032) to 4.4.4 KitKat so i could upgrade to Lollipop. After the update was over the phone immediately shut down and wouldn't boot up, so i left it charging overnight. In the morning(Sunday) the phone didn't boot up either so i left it to discharge until the next morning(Monday). So i leave it charging while i was out and when i came back i tried to do the solution provided by Motorola and a white LED started blinking but other than that the phone didn't boot up.Is there anything else i can try or am I missing something here?(p.s i handed it over to a friend and he disconnected the battery from the board and since then the LED started blinking)

trying pressing all the keys (volume up + volume down +power button) for 5 seconds and release it to get in to the bootloader, so then you can adb a custom recovery
I cant get into the bootloader
When you connect it to a Windows machine, is it recognized in device manager as something resembling "qhsusb_bulk"?
If it is, it is hard bricked.
Was the phone's bootloader unlocked? Were you running a custom recovery or rooted?
The PC recognizes the phone(like Moto G) and yes the bootloader was unlocked but i was running stock both firmware and recovery
Also no i wasnt rooted
The PC recognizes the phone in its current state as a moto g? That's good. Maybe you need to let it charge again and try to get into fastboot.
I let it charge for like 15 hours and still only a blinking light...well at least it aint dead
It doesn't seem to want to charge and it's recognized as a moto g when connected to your computer? I'd bet it isn't hard bricked, just soft bricked.

Try a different charger because sometimes I can't charge my phone when its empty with a certain charger but once I use a iPad power adapter it works and then I can charge using my usual charger
Funny thing is that both of my chargers are Apple chargers(with the original motorola usb cable ).So should i just leave it for like a week discharge or let it charge until it finally powers on?
Also if it is a soft brick what would you recommend?
I'd say left it charge over night.
Is the bootloader unlocked?
Yes the bootloader was unlocked
Any luck getting into fastboot?
No luck...still the only thing that shows up its the LED light
When you connect the phone to your Windows computer, is it seen as qhsb or some sort of weird device? If it is, it sounds like it is hard bricked.
Actually i was asked about this in this post (1st page)and no it doesnt show anything like qhsb
I asked again because things may have changed.
I'm at a loss as to why it is recognized as a Moto G by your computer even though it won't turn on.
I tried the freezer thing and the LED stopped blinking for a while and was stable
Is it recognized by your computer as a moto g? I'm not sure how it could since it can't be turned on.

Issue with Sony Xperia M4A4 Aqua (E2303)

Hello guys!
Yesterday I wanted to root my phone following these instructions (sorry link can't be posted dues to I'm just a newbie here) but post was on dottech dot org.
I did everything that was necessary for preparing the phone, however I stucked at step 8.
I flashed the original .128 firmware to my phone, and when I powered it on, I was delighted. When I realized that it won't boot at all, I got an idea, simply to wait. I waited over 20 minutes, nothing happened, stuck on T-mobile logo. For the rest of the time I left it on charger, and unfortunately I am unable to power it off since it has built-in battery.... I tried to power off by long pressing power button, nothing happened. I tried again to flash it, but when it asks me to plug the phone to the usb in case to get in flashmode, it says battery has to charge, so it's discharged... I plug it to charger one more time, but as soon as it gets enough power, it tries to start itself, and I can't power it off...
It gets really hot at the back panel, and as it discharges, everything is happening again....
Please help me to get back my phone working!
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks
(Sorry, it's M4 Aqua actually)

EDIT: I am able to flash kernels to phone if I let it charge for about 10 minutes then enter flashmode and I keep pressing volume down + power for about 5 minutes (as it would start itself.) BUT still doesn't boot up. Freezes at the T-mobile logo. Please help.
Get your phone's box then search it's model on Google for firmwares that you can flash through fastboot etc

Phone not powering up

Ok, so i am an idiot in terms of phones. I came to this site, ccause I KNOW that alot of intelligent people are there, and my question is.
So i have an Alcatel one touch idol ultra 6033x, and it does not power up. It charges and the blue led does glow when i connect it., but it doesnt boot up when i hold power. Nothing happens, no logo, nothing. I would like to know if it is possible to restore this phone without having to pay hundreds of dollars in a service. If its possible how can i do it.
Also, it started this way. I was watching youtube and it turned off cause of battery. I pluged it into the charger, It turned on but it was stuck on android logo, and after like 15 minutes i turned it off by holding the button. After that point it didnt work. Its not a soft brick, because it does not boot up and i dont think its a hardbrick, because when i tried using sp flash tool it did somehow detect it. Btw it was rooted but this didnt pose any problems until now.

Look like your phone isn't charging maybe thats why its not turning on. Do you see charging animation when you connected to AC power supply. Try flashing another rom. See if that helps.
It seems you can access bootloader mode. You can use fastboot to re-flash stock firmware that might solve the issue.
Press and hold power+volume down until you go into bootloader mode, connect phone to pc, and fastboot flash the stock firmware.

I second this, looks like your Moto G3 might have lost its physical connection between the battery's cables and the phone's logic board and thus no battery is or could be charging for this reason. I would open up the Moto G3 to see if that's the reason, a possibly bad solder point between the batter's cable and the motherboard, but opening up the Moto G3 to make ANY examinations internally would prove to be a B _ _ _ H, since everything is glued together ala "IPhone Style", in fact Motorola could have taken classes from Apple in how to screw with the customers in terms of repair-ability of their phones that you wont find a single screw, according to the "IFixIt" page you will need a heat gun or a head pad to heat up the corners of the LCD screen and then with a tool to pry it open, and since the glass is very fragile there's a high chance that you will break the glass in the process and you would need to replace that as well. I say that this phone is probably one of the worse ones in terms of user repair-ability, but anyways, I would save my rant of "User Repair-ability" for a different topic for the future, but the point is that in case if you have to open up your Moto G 2015 to fix it yourself, its going to be very difficult.
