Screen battery use that big is actually a good thing. It means that the screen is the biggest consumer and the rest of the phone is very efficient at idling.
Screen battery consumption is pretty much fixed. It varies only with brightness.
Can't see anything wrong on those screens.

It always depends on what you're doing with your device.
Doing a factory reset should be the easiest way to go., if you think there's something wrong.
(Don't forget to backup important data.)
On what firmware are you?

i try reset my phone and nothing happen
my system is android 7 (L29C185B560)

My one s is not like it used to be

for a few weeks, my one s battery cant pass through 2-2.5 hours of screen time although it used to be something like 4 hours.
i tried to full reset, didnt help.
even noticed that games are lagging, like music hero and subway surfers to the point it can fail me.
most of the time the screen brighness set on 30%, wifi mostly off, gps off, sync off. only 3g is on.
i got s4 version running 2.21 software stock locked unrotted nothing.
as it is from the manufacture.
i dont use alot of apps, mostly basic ones like whatsapp chrome shazam and few more.
i dont think its some bad app which draning my batt, also the phone is 2 month old.
all this time, the phone didnt do any problems but 2 days ago for the first time after unlock the screen phone had restart.
could it be that after 2 months my battery is dying?
If you say that games are lagging there could be something draining your cpu... This could also explain the battery drain.
In the battery stats, what app/task is draining most?
Well, screen by far... No special app drains..

Try turning down your screen brightness.
If it's really bad I'd try a reset
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda app-developers app
BetterBatteryStats and Carat. Take a BBS dump after a day's use and you should see what's causing major issues. Carat will take care of anything else after a few weeks by showing you what apps are using serious battery power.
it is unlikely that she dies. What radio are you using?
1.06s.50.02.27_2_10.08.50.04L
Why dont you install a Custom ROM for testing if this problem still shows up ? Like someone mentioned above something is fu*** up your CPU for some reason and this is the reason why your battery is going down very fast.
Some questions:
- Do you run any "battery saver" or any other app in the background (except Facebook,WhatsApp,GMail,..)
- Do you charge your battery from totally 0% (when your phone doesnt boot anymore) to full 100% ? It could be a battery de-calibration but this not really explains your lagging problems
i dont want a custom rom because i still want my warranty.
i dont run any battery saver app in background.
i charged the phone from 0 to 100 few weeks ago.
for 2 days im trying to be on gsm only and its seems battery have been improved by almost an hour.
there are less lags in games also and the device is feeling faster.
could be a radio problem?
i have full reception most of the time.
maybe the diztronic skin interrupting radio or something?
in few days carat will give me a report and ill see what he suggest.

I understand your argument but if you follow the guides step by step you will succeed. Even if you fail, you still have multiple ways to recover your phone. My broadband chip was broken and i lost my IMEI (Galaxy S1) and i had a custom ROM installed and the support still repaired it.
Maybe you need to calibrate your battery. If you only charged it once it doenst really helps.
Dont know, maybe it could be a radio problem.
You have a skin installed? If you rooted your device the warranty still could be gone.
i dont want to root the device cuz of warrenty.
i have diztronic case from amazon.
and i heared recharging the battery from 0-100 could harm your battery for long term and shorten the battery life.

No. I don't know where you got that from but It's crap. It doesn't harm your battery, in fact it is better than charging from 60%.
GSM only does NOT affect gameplay. Maybe battery, but not gameplay. Somehow I think you're trolling everyone.
Sent from my locked, tampered ville
im not trolling, i love this phone and really wondered maybe i did something wrong with it..
gsm only shouldnt affect games but maybe its affecting something else which affect games.
maybe its a software issue or drivers.
Guys, stop being idiotic. "Battery calibration" might as well be telling the person to charge the phone while hopping on one foot and rubbing his other.
It's quite simple. Post screenshots of the top of the list for partial wakelock, process, and kernel wakelock. This will help diagnose battery drain problems. Carat will slowly build a list of battery drainers that you can also use to identify issues.
And please make sure you're not using any task killers or similar apps as they cause more harm than good and are big no-no's on Android.
Speaking of Custom ROMs, I'm not sure what the rules are where you live, but where I live, unlocking the bootloader does not void the warranty, so flashing custom ROMs is perfectly safe, just make sure to make a backup first.
And yes, battery calibration is not possible, as these batteries doesn't have any "memory".
Where i live the warranty void sadly.
Im still waiting for carat report but for this moment, using gsm only + wifi instead of auto wcdma/gsm, seems to make my battery life normal - almost 4 hours screen time.

Galaxy S6 Not displaying correct battery.

I have had this issue for a while and have been switching roms in search for a solution. My phone is draining battery no matter what rom I am using, but when I instert the charger, the battery instantly jumps up about 15-40% depending on how low it is. Does anybody know what causes this and how to fix it.
SM-G920i
Both Xtrestolite Deodex 6.0.1 and Xtralite Deodex 6.0.1
Pretty sure both roms use Arter 97 kernel.
Any help would be appreciated
Did you try to recalibrate it? Also, you should use Greenify to help you reduce battery drain while phone is not being used.

Here is a good guide which shows you how to do it. It's helped me, so hopefully it will help you as well!
Re-calibrate your battery, there are a few on the play store i used it each time i install a new rom (not needed for updates really). They do require root though. Also samsung introduce a feature which when your battery drain there willing be atleast 10% of battery remaining even though the phone shut down. This is an emergency feature and allows you to send or make a call with the last 10%

Battery Care issues

I've been using XC for a month now. Battery Care worked only during the first few weeks and now it refuses to work anymore. For the past few days, I've been trying to figure out the cause. I even decompiled the APK and am studying the program logic. But I need some live data from working device to help me better understand. If your phone is rooted and Battery Care is working properly, please send me the following files to check. Hopefully the result will help to fix our problem regarding Battery Care. Thanks!
/data/data/com.sonymobile.smartcharger/databases/chargingInfo.db
/data/data/com.sonymobile.smartcharger/databases/chargingInfo.db-journal
/data/data/com.sonymobile.smartcharger/shared_prefs/SmartChargeData.xml
What is battery care? I'm root so if you tell me what I have to install, I can try if you want
Battery care works only if you are very consistent on your battery charge time. For example: If you charge your phone every day at 8pm and take of of charge at 6am battery care will remember it and activate automatically and will try manage your usage based on that time but if there will be discrepancies in charging time and usage and you are not consistent in your charging time battery care useless and will not work. Unless I am wrong on my statement and someone can tell otherwise.
I had the same issue, stopped working after the December update. Worked again in a week or so. Give it time and report back

So do you see a message pop up every night when you plug your phone to the charger? If so then Battery Care should work properly. Then you can extract the above files using any root file manager.
Battery Care works by learning your charging pattern and avoid overcharging and thus prolong the battery life.

My charging pattern is very consistent. But when I browse the learning table created by Battery Care, it doesn't seem to learn properly at all. If you have Battery Care working, I appreciate if you could send me the above files to study.

I found no porn at all. :crying:
But your phone actually activated Battery Care 5 times and your charging pattern is really irregular and random. I doubt Battery Care can learn anything from it.

Yeah thats what I told you. My usage is not the same everyday so my battery care does not always activate.
I've just written an app to improve BatteryCare prediction. Check it out.

Wondering!
If they(Sony) can stop charging at 90% for sometime, then why not completely stop charging after 100% ?
And if someone wants to charge again then he can disconnect and reconnect to charge.
For that I use power bank to charge my phone over night, as PBank automatically shuts down when less current is passing(meaning 100% charged)
Is this idea stupid?

Help with battery - still draining after a couple factory resets - screenshots attach

Hello all,
Having pretty bad battery life with my Pixel (<1 hr SOT before battery dies when it used to be capable of ~3hrs)
Please see photos link -- I don't know where to start but I will not do another factory reset (I have done a couple already and they seem to help for a few weeks but then it is back to the usual issues)
What do you guys think I should do??

Hi there,
Some pretty bad battery indeed. Did you try BetterBatteryStats to go a little deeper in to see wich app or process is the culprit?
I recommend to do so. BBS is in the app forums.
Cheers

Before I used this code, the battery life was very good because my phone is new i bought it before one week only! it takes 2 days of full conection and use to get it from 100% to 20%!!!
after using this code of *#0228# the battery come down very soon... normal using not much it takes less than one day to fall down from 100% to 5% and without full using! and believe me, when I go to sleep and I put the phone in standby without Always on display in the morning I found 8 to 10% are gone!!!

No idea what you did.
I'm not going to Google search this down... you should have known what the code was before using it.
Try this again, follow the directions but there's no guarantee this person knows what they're doing.

You alter a hidden file. You might be able to access it with ADB, don't know. Or what to punch in if you can.
Not even sure a factory reset would fix this if it's not on the userdata partition.
Hopefully someone here that knows will help you.
