Navigation Bar Switch - Sony Xperia M2

Hello! I have been wondering if there is someone out there who knows how to switch Navigation bars. The Back button and the Recent Apps button. I would like to swutch their positions. Can I do it with the Stock ROM without XPosed by just editing system files? I know there is a way to do it with Xposed modules but I would like to try it first without Xposed if possible. I am running the Stock ROM , rooted. Thank you.

I think it's doable. You need to decompile SystemUI find navigation bar change position of back with recent, then recompile, flash SystemUI. :
Good Luck!

[MOD] Toggles for 4.2.2

Toggles have been added for Xperia users via Xposed Framework.
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/aosp-status-bar-toggles-on-xperias-running-4-2-with-xposed/
Install gravity box so you can access the settings as well as the xposed framework and the above module
Oh man, that's the only missing feature in our 4.2.2.I'll test it as soon as I can but for now what to keep stock because I'll do a full video review of 4.2.2 tomorrow.Btw,I have to deodex the rom for xposed framework to work, right?
You don't have to deodex the rom. Working great on XL.
just need root, the xposed framework, gravity box and the mod linked above. gravity box add's all kinds of neat things though like reboot menu, smaller nav bar, lots of stuff.
not working . i only installed gravity box alongwith xposed to avoid conflicts(both latest version) but quick toggles not working and another issue in gravity box is when i tick the expanded volume controls then it gets working but after reboot, lost it
did you install the actual mod too, or just gravity box and xposed?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494071
And it works fine, I even posted a screenshot showing it works, so I don't know what you did, but works for me.
Works
Its quite nice but would have loved if Sony included it by default

sorry I haven't installed the actual mod
now it works fine but what about expanded volume control always lost after reboot. Is this a bug or I'm doing something wrong here also?

Xperia L locked Bl rooted, android 4.2.2
??
Have no clue what im doing wrong, but the module doesnt come in effect. All my other xposed modules work btw, including gravity box
Edit : Its working now, but only if i select quick pulldown in Statusbar tweaks > QuickSettings Management > Quick Pulldown or if i tick Auto switch Quick settings in gravity box.
So is gravity box required for this to work??
Think....貌似好爽啊
@getochkn can you make it look like aosp?i mean,to fully remove our status bar and have only this aosp statusbar.here is an image of what i mean: http://www.xda-developers.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/screenshot.png thanks!
No. Or not jet.
Xperia L locked Bl rooted, android 4.2.2
Not working!!! Installed Xposed Framework and Gravity box.
You should download 'xperia flip settings' too. Than it going to work. Try on booth sides, on top left, on top right.

You have to be rooted with stock 4.2.2 firmware.
Then you have to installed xposed framework apk, gravity box module and xperia flip modules. All modules can be found on the xposed framework app. Just install the modules and activate it through xposed. Check gravity box and you will find a option named status bar tweaks. Just go there and enjoy the mod.

[Q] Easiest way to change navbar softkeys button order? (Android L)

I've tried changing the order of the buttons, so that back is on the right, on the layout/navigationbar.xml in SystemUI.apk(decompiled with latest apktool RC3) like I used to do in 4.4.4 but it doesnt work...
I don't get any errors just the ui doesn't show.
Any suggestions or other methods? thanks.
Did you sign/copy the META-INF and AndroidManifest.xml properly?
Other than that, there is no reason it wouldn't work on Lollipop.

Attached the apk for anyone who wants it. [Stock Android 5.0]
36 DPI would make this mod just about perfect.
Hi,
I am changing dpi of navbar from framework-res.apk but as you can see on attachment the back button is bigger than the others.
How can i solve this?
Hi Guys,
My Z3 is rooted on 5.0.2 and I want to do the samething on this thread subject. What is the proven and easiest way?

Battery icon won't go!

Hi guys, I'm trying to hide my battery icon from the status bar and no matter how many xposed modules I've tried, none of them seem to get rid of it!
All other xposed features are working, apart from this.
I'm on latest pre-rooted stock, locked bootloader, rooted, if that helps!
Any suggestions?

There is a simple built in feature called personalization where you can hide your battery icon you don't need to apply xposed for that!!!

That will not get rid of the battery icon:
1. When you pull the quicksettings menu down
2. On the lockscreen
I think that is what the guy may be referring to. I just learned to live with it.

I have a rooted phone with xposed sucessfully installed. I have used some theme changing apps such as hk theme changer, Gravity Box,etc. The problem is that when i disable every module still my stock ui doesnt return back to normal. The only way to solve is to disable resource hooks but with that option i a not able to use any theming app. when i install cyanogenmod themes or do any kind of theming the disfigured ui still persists it makes my phone ugly.
