I have been using my Oneplus One since a couple of years. From last week I am having this problem. When I am on 4G I can use data and I cannot make calls or receieve calls . When I make call the number is displayed and then call doesn't connect and I get call ended on the screen. When someone calls me my phone , my phone is out of coverage area.
On 3G , nothing works , no data , no call.
On 2G everything works.
I have tried multiple ROMS , oxygen OS , Cyanogen Mod 12 ,13 but nothing works.
I have tried multiple sims as well.
Service centre guy like always has only one solution that motherboard the has to be be replaced.
Please help me out.
I am having the same issue. Tried multiple radios & modems and ROMs flashed clean and dirty, full wipe and used fastboot as well without luck. I could use a new perspective as well.... Maybe wipe and reformat EFS?

Nope, its idea. I tried on airtel and vodafone as well but same issue exists.
I know Oneplus One doesn't support VOLTE.

Oneplus One doesn't support VOLTE. I cannot call someone or receive calls unless I install Jio 4G voice app.

Yes and Jio4G voice app works just fine and I know you've to enable data all the time to receive calls but that's just the way it is.

So to explain, I am unable to call out, I receive either a mobile network not available or out of service area upon call out... but I can receive calls, sms, and Sprint LTE... If I restart my phone with 3G only, it works fine, I can enable LTE, and things work fine until I restart with LTE enabled, it's than back to the same. I've flashed back to stock, didn't seem to effect the issue in the slightest. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Can confirm going to 4.4.2 fixes the problem. Wish I didn't buy a used GS3 thinking that my phone was broken. Obviously sprint support had no clue that the 4.4.4 update broke the cdma radio.
I haven't been able to use moblie data at home for some reason although LTE is shown it gives me not connected to the internet .But if i move around the house or go out i start recieving good speed .Any solution for this ,this is happened on RR N and NOS
I even tried flashing the c7 firmware but nothing seems to work
This is really important to me as all calls over my network are made over Data (VOLTE) therefore if there's no data I can't receive any calls
Which firmware do you have?

I moved to this firmware for the same reason and I did'nt have further problem after.
I'm pretty confident that your problem could be fixed in build.prop
Strange problem. I tried researching this problem and found nothing.
My OPO works just fine at everywhere except home and another location a few miles away from my home. At these places I can't make or receive phone calls. Data works fine. I flashed the newest resurrection remix, with full wipe. I also tried flashing 3 different modems.
I called T-Mobile and presented them with the problem and they said my phone many be too old and possibly not support T-Mobiles' new LTE bands. So, I asked what band am I receiving at home and they Dont know... I dropped down to prefer 3g and still no luck.
Anyone with a similar experience or may know what I'm dealing with please help. I still love my OPO and would prefer to not buy a new phone.

You might not be able to use Lte perfectly on T-mobile(as they already said) since it uses LTE band 12 mostly which OPO doesn't supports..though I guess 3G should work fine.
Also,I guess T-Mobile uses VoLTE to place calls,which again,OPO doesn't support.
Can you list out the modems/firmwares which you've tried so far?

Can't you just change your Carrier instead?
LTE discovery app shows i am connected to LTE Band 4. 3 of 4 signal bars. Is it possible that t-mobile uses band 4 for data and band 12 for voice?

I am in USA. The next biggest carrier is Verizon which dont work on OPO. Metro PCS is the same as tmobile. I am not going ATT. OPO dont work on Sprint either.

I have exactly same problem on my 2 Notes. I fix one by resetting phone app but second one not working all all.
I resolved my issue by turning off Enhance LTE, reboot phone then turning back on Enhance LTE.

Check the news about AT&T. Earlier this evening there was a nationwide outage with voice service. Apparently, all AT&T said via Twitter was to "restart your phone. It may take several restarts.". Typical AT&T customer service I guess.
My Wi-Fi calling seems to not be working properly. It is not as aggressive in low service situations like in the past.

Well the problem of receiving a call and losing the 4g signal and therefore the Internet has a solution? Or is it a problem that characterizes the oneplus :confuso:
??? if you mean that when you receive a call 4G turns to 3G thats just how it works, as voice has a different signal frequency to 4G. Some sim companies will support some phones to have VoLTE or Voice over LTE basically allowing you to keep your 4G signal while calling and have a higher definition and quality of call. But ye its not an issue normally thats just how it works.

No. I mean that when entering a call, the data is cut off as if it were turned off. And when the call ends, the data signal comes back, this has never happened to me only with the oneplus. And it's annoying to be downloading or playing and losing because of this problem

You didn't understand his question.
Whenever he's on a call, the data gets deactivated, not going from 4G to 3G, not even down to H... He can't use the internet at all, and that's his problem.

Ok well I don't know then if it comes back after the call ends it 100% has something to do with the SIM carrier or the network type.

He wasn't explaining it properly and it clearly doesn't affect anything at all. If it loses 4g during call and comes back after call then it's probably fine that's why i was confident it probably had something to do with the way his network is configured other than that in still confident it's normal

As he mentioned very clearly in his 2nd post (pretty clear in first)... When he makes a phone call, during that call he cannot access internet (aka mobile data). Not once did he say anything about switch from 4G to 3G (like you randomly for some reason said was happening, even though it wasn't).
What isn't clear is what you are trying to say without punctuation !

Well maybe, just mabe the way his mobile data is configured to be 4g only. Just thinking...
Normally 4g shuts off on voice calls if not on VoLTE.

The change from 4g to 3g is normal when I make the call. When I receive the call this does not happen, it is as if the mobile data (Internet access) was deactivated. When playing online, I receive a call immediately, I lose my Internet connection due to the call, it happens on the Oneplus 5 and 6.

It happens in any type of network. When receiving a call immediately the mobile data is disabled
Yes, if you do not have VoLTE enabled for whatever reason (carrier might doesn't support it) you will lose mobile data once the connection downgrades to 3g for the call. This is completely normal. It does come back after the call is finished, as it is the case in your scenario as well. There is nothing you can do about it as far as I know, except getting VoLTE to work.
Seems normal to me. Classic 3G networking only uses one antenna. So when a call is placed, Data is cut off.
With H+ (3G+), which uses two combined antennas, you can have calls and Data at the same time, but it won't always work. It's always been like that for me on all my phones !
All in all, it's related to your network, that's just how it works. Only VoLTE would really solve that.
Go into the settings of your phone app, go to Sim and Network and make sure you have 2G/3G/4G automatic selected. If not select it and reboot then call mom
Firstly, make sure your provider supports volte. Next, make sure your apns are correct on your sim to support this. Then try this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...te-forcefully-activated-t3797538/post76670517
For those of you in the USA that may have issues using text or voice over WiFi but NOT over volte, the above may help you as well. I know it helped me.
