TWRP issue SM-T580 - General Questions and Answers

Hi I have a SM-T580 Samsung tab A 2016 and have installed TWRP onto it, I tried to root my device using supersu, this obviously failed because my device won't boot it is android 6.0.1 and just hangs at the logo fading part and never fully boots, how can I reinstall android on my device? Can I reinstall using TWRP? If so how?
I have heard if I somehow get a stock image I can restore to that?
I'm starting to get really worried I've broken my tablet, any help is greatly appreciated

If you can get to download mode you can flash your stock firmware.

No, try Sammobile .com, use your specific model number to do your searching.

Got same problem. After flashing stock rom all was ok.

Galaxy S6 Edge [SM-G925F] - Stuck in TWRP Bootloop/Caused by SuperSU

So my S6 Edge (O2UK) is stuck in a recovery bootloop, It can go into download mode.
Things I have tried
Reflashing firmware (Odin fails at hidden.img)
Clearing cache etc in TWRP
The bootloop was caused by SuperSU as it asked me a question about TWRP recovery and something obviously corrupted or is badly configured.
Any help is appreciated!
Have you solved your problem? I've got exactly the same....
Could anyone help on this?
Got the same f***ing problem here

In the future, when it prompts to root, don't swipe to allow it.
Now reflash the rom, either stock or custom.

O I fixed it. I just factory reset my phone and it worked. It was my dad's idea..

I also have G925F.
Open Samsung Kies on your computer, plug your phone in. Select tools then firmware upgrade and intilisation. Let it do its thing. I was in same place but not because up super SU but because of the Dm verity.zip i forgot to flash over the top of TWRP.
I tried all sorts going back to stock worked to get it running. And I wont be messing with root on Sammy devices anymore. Too much to go wrong, and most tuts at rooting are not complete. Get a One

HELP I have bricked by S7 Exynos

Hi
I have a massive problem with my S7.
I wanted to install TWRP on my phone so I could take a backup of my MM setup before upgrading to Nougat.
Once I installed TWRP I found that due to encryption on the device I couldnt take a backup. I then tried to reboot my phone but now it gets stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S7 logo and just boot loops.
Can anyone help or suggest how to get my phone working again?
Cheers

I had the exact same problem. In your case I just booted my device into "Download Mode" and flashed the stock Nougat from the Sammobile page using Odin (download the appropriate version for your device) [in Download Mode it should say what version of Galaxy S7 you have, for example G930-5F/FD and so on] then you are good to go.
P.S. Don't worry, that is just a softbrick it's nothing to really worry about.
EDIT: If you want an simpler process, try to flash the stock rom using Smart Switch on your computer. Both methods worked for me

Can't install TWRP Samsung J320FN frp locked

Samsung J320fn is FRP locked. Can access download menu (but not recovery - that just displays frp locked). Using Odin I have tried several versions of TWRP for this particular phone and all fail - I assume because of the lock.
So I am stuck it seems. I thought of putting TWRP onto a microSD in the phone but that is no good as the phone won't boot.
Any suggestions please?

Can still boot into system normally?
If not, flash your stock firmware.
To get passed FRP, you need to get into system and remove the Google account that is on the device, then FRP shouldn't be a problem.

Flashing stock firmware does not require TWRP. All you need is a PC, Odin, the Samsung drivers, the stock firmware for your device, a USB cable and a charged battery in the device.
If your device has a locked bootloader, you won't ever get TWRP to flash correctly.
Stop focusing on getting TWRP installed, focus on repairing the device the way it is supposed to be.

Oops right! But Odin always fails flashing . I tried two different ROMs specified for my model. It starts OK but then stops with a fail a quarter of the way through.

Yeah, it helps to eliminate hardware causes before posting as if you are having a software or flashing issue.
A faulty cable during a flashing process can completely brick your device, get a better cable.

I have almost the same problem, but for me it is not the cable. When i try to flash custom firmware it says "Custom Binary(KERNEL) Blocked By FRP Lock".
The device sm-j320fn won't reboot because of FRP lock, it will get into download mode but not into recovery.
Could anyone please help me?

If you can still boot into system, go to system settings>accounts and remove your Google account from the device. Then try flashing the device.

The phone doesn't boot into system because it is blocked by frp, so i cannot remove the account from the device.

If that is the case, you are posting in the wrong thread, you aren't having trouble installing TWRP, you are dealing with being FRP locked.
The XDA rules prevent us from helping you remove the FRP block. You'll have to get help with that somewhere else or figure it out on your. This rule exists because the methods to bypass FRP can be used to unlock stolen/lost devices. Even if your situation is legitimate, if we help you find a way to bypass FRP, the information/help we give you can be used by someone to unlock/access a device that does not belong to them. We avoid posting information that can be used in the wrong way by the wrong people.
