Just so you know the s8+ boot splash is not in center for s7 flat g930f. i have no idea how to fix it but maybe you can edit it to being better. if needed i can post a picture please let me know if you can do a fast fix for us. Also do you have a revert to stock for s7 flat?
twrp flash files Do not work btw i could only use the .tar with Odin. thanks
as you see. if you look at the Power button as a reference point it should be centered on that but it is about 1cm to the left

Hi,
I think i soft-bricked my phone by flashing modem and bootloader in my S6 International 920F phone.
Downloaded 5.1.1 modem and bootloader from this topic and followed the instructions exactly:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...-xtrestolite-pure-edition-1-0-beta-1-t3082467
ODIN gave no sign of a failure so after flashing the phone rebooted and now it won't further than the Galaxy S6 bootscreen.
In the top of the screen a message says: "SYSTEM REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE: 2 BINARY: 1"
I've searched already for a solution but i can't find a specific.
Anyone who can help me please?

Reflash your S6 with standard 5.1.1 ROM via odin.
I did a restore via Kies3, wasn't expecting much but did the trick.
Thats good.

Try to use Smart Switch
Just plug the phone to PC in download mode and rescue it via Smart Switch. It'll download the right firmware for your device and flash it automatically.
Here's how you can do it;
How did it go?

First of all, thanks for the help! i went with the smart switch but i'm stuck on a problem.
it asks me the serial number of the mobile, since i dont have the box with me how can i find out the serial number?
i used the volume up - home - power on button, i went to the recovery mode. wipe data etc doesn't work (i knew this already).
but i went to recovery mode to go into the logs and try to find the serial number. i did find "ro.serialno= xxx"
tried this one but got "invalid serial" ... where can i find the correct one?
lucky me.
Ps. stock original samsung with android 5.1

Did you try this code for to find your IMEI Serial Number: *#06#
Sent From my SM-G928F via Tapa
The easiest solution.. Download the whole correct firmware for your s6 from sammobile or samfirm or whateve and flash it via odin.. It will resume working perfectly. .

Flashing a stock firmware will not void your warranty, unless you Knox has already been tripped IMHO
Sent From my SM-G928F via Tapa
the easiest solution sounded like using smart switch. however since i don't have access to the serial (arggh.. the most simple thing ever) i can't use it.
I am going to try to go with prince mohit advice.
problem 1:
in sammobile.com i can't find firmware for G920F with bootloader G920FXXU3C0I9 (the one i have on my phone)
i have to use this one or can i use other?
on samfirm i found:
- [FULL] Galaxy S6 - G920F | G920FXXU3COI9/BTU | Android 5.1.1 | 12/25/2015
. [FULL] Galaxy S6 - G920F : G920FXXU3COI9/XSE - Android 5.1.1 | 12/25/2015
which one should i go? i am sorry for asking so many questions but i dont want to brick my phone :\
Going to download this 2 files. they look like the correct ones to me:
G920FXXU3COI9_G920FBTU3COJ1_BTU_PAC.zip
ZEROFLTE_EUR_OPEN.pit
Also going to download odin ... what's the sequence on ODIN to do this? What should i do with the .pit file?!

Got myself in a bind. Bought a new Note 5 today to upgrade to 64GB. Forgot to OEM unlock, and the phone is bricked for the moment. The new image N920TUVU3DPG1 isn't available to download yet. Any suggestions, or does anyone know where the new image can be found yet? What a rookie mistake! Smart Switch in emergency recovery tries to flash N920TUVU2DPD1 and fails. Downgrading doesn't work either.

Just downgrade to an older version via Odin if possible. It can be done on Verizon so I don't see why not on yours.

Hope u fixed ur problem, I'm still on Note 4, was waiting for u to fix the new firmware for us last month, and now we just got another one, so shocked Samsung is actually taking care of the Note 4 N910T,
My rom boots up, but can't see sim card, external storage, wifi doesn't connect and so forth, I guess they did something with the new MM that @dsixda kitchen doesn't work correctly somewhere anymore,
need to learn Ubuntu, not easy with no help,,, I made an external drive with 16.04 but need to java development and figure the rest out, not easy with 2 kids.. and wifey..
and u r also in FL, by the way thanks for the updater script for the past v5.1.1 roms we had...
Samsung keeps raising prices on these phones, ridiculous no reason the new Note 7 will be $849 cause they r only making egde style phones.
I'm glad they pushed me to my limits, first it was HTC, I had all the HTC phone till M7, for when they had the first tmobile dash windows phone.. haha..
don't know whats next, maybe crapple... no rush since the note 4 is still rocking good,
but the Note 7, water resistence is awesome is the only kool thing I guess.
Seems like I'm having the same problem frp lock and drk has anyone found a solution yet. I can't seem to find any way to fix this yet. Appreciate any help in advance
I could help with this issue, just let me know if you need my assistant I would have to remotely do this to accomplish this thanks..
I would like to start this thread in regards to the latest 7.0 Nougat update released by Samsung.
The Galaxy S7 Edge 7.0 Update is compatible with the Canadian variant 935w8.
The process for installation has been confusing for many people and unsuccessful.
I have been successful and am currently running android 7.0 Nougat on the Galaxy S7 Edge.
I will be making a video demonstration pointing out some new and much needed features and bug fixes included with the 7.0 update for the Galaxy S7 Edge Canadian Variant 935w8.
MAYBE EVEN POSSIBLE GOOGLE DAYDREAM SUPPORT AND COMPARABILITY. Still testing this tho.
INSTALL METHOD USING ODIN. (POSSIBLE DATA LOSE SO BACK UP JUST IN CASE):
BACK UP INTERNAL FILES FROM THE PHONE SD CARD WILL BE FINE.
HAVE YOUR PHONE CHARGED AT A DECENT LEVEL JUST IN CASE IS WHAT I SAY.
BACK UP ANYTHING YOU MAY BE CONCERNED OF.
BE CAREFUL I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG.
MANY CONFIRM THIS METHOD WORKING ALONG WITH ME HE TRIED IT FIRST.
1) Put phone in download mode.
2) Connect phone to latest Odin version.
3) install AP from 7.0 Nougat update file ALONG with the CSC from the 6.0.1 update file.
If all goes well you have now achieved the Nougat 7.0 update on you Galaxy S7 Edge in Canada 935w8.
Optional:
If report does get stuck you can try forcing the phone to restart and then the update process should continue.
If you are in a boot loop try again.
VIDEOS:
More details, instructions and link's coming soon.
awesome. looking forward to trying this out!

Hi
I have a massive problem with my S7.
I wanted to install TWRP on my phone so I could take a backup of my MM setup before upgrading to Nougat.
Once I installed TWRP I found that due to encryption on the device I couldnt take a backup. I then tried to reboot my phone but now it gets stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S7 logo and just boot loops.
Can anyone help or suggest how to get my phone working again?
Cheers

I had the exact same problem. In your case I just booted my device into "Download Mode" and flashed the stock Nougat from the Sammobile page using Odin (download the appropriate version for your device) [in Download Mode it should say what version of Galaxy S7 you have, for example G930-5F/FD and so on] then you are good to go.
P.S. Don't worry, that is just a softbrick it's nothing to really worry about.
EDIT: If you want an simpler process, try to flash the stock rom using Smart Switch on your computer. Both methods worked for me
