Can this be flashed through flashfire on the galaxy s7 sprint?

As an alternative to flashing, can we just replace the stock camera APK with the one in this zip archive?

Not my ROM. You would need to ask at the LeEco site.

Used it for a few days,
everything almost 100% working so far.
Very smooth and fast, no unusual battery drain.
The only thing is the camera (or me very important)
OpenCamera is a bit too slow when shooting, so with moving objects it`s very difficult to obtain a sharp image.
A Better Camera is not working at all. Spend money for nothing....
High Speed Camera is working very well but 8mpx resolution max.
FV-5 is also working very well but you have to install Cinema FV-5 to shoot videos
Levono Camera without working video recording, only photos.
And so on....
So it´s very difficult to get the same image quality and options like HDR, Panorama like in stock Camera with an "all in one solution"

I've got to the same point, and I am happy with the Lenovo app. It does both camera and at full resolution and the results are better than the stock camera.

Strange, for me Video with Levono is not working.

do the pro and the normal version have the same codename (x620?), because you obviously use the pro version (21mp)

1080p60 does not like HDR and Snapshot, it keeps causing buffer issues and force closes. I'll check the front camera after.

Nope either unfortunately. Possibly a bug in the Camera or an actual limitation. I know screenshots have definitely worked before. HDR on the S7 could be enabled for 1080p60 but couldn't handle light changes which is why I had to keep it disabled on the S7.

That 10min recording limit is definitely going

ok thanks btw I noticed aqua mode disappeared from the modes after flashing this mod (which fixed the double panorama modes) possible to get it back? I'm on Renovate ICE ROM. thank you.

When I edit a photo in photoshop/gimp anything over 80% seems the same to me...

98 > 100 is very hard to tell. I think 98 is the best compromise.
Don't forget also HDR in 4K and QHD modes !

By default my Camera did not have Aqua. Does anyone have this mode by default on their device with the stock Camera?

If you install renovate ice then you can get aqua mod. I tried finding this on samy app store but it's not there. Yes stock rom doesn't have this mod it's only custom rom specific.

Ahh, Aqua wouldn't really work as the normal S8 doesn't have an Active button to take pictures.
If there are any other modes missing you can think of, let me know as I may be able to force them.

I did mention about aqua mode, and as previous comment it's with the Renovate ICE ROM. I can take pictures with the volume buttons and with the Bixby button as I remapped it to launch camera and take pics.

His modified Google Camera app gets portrait mode — the camera effect that blurs out your selfie’s background and brings your face into focus — to smartphones with Samsung’s in-house Exynos processors, which include the international editions of the Galaxy S7, S8, and Note 8. With the app installed and a few tweaks applied in the Settings menu, it’s seamless — albeit a bit slower than devices with Qualcomm Snapdragon system-on-chips. And for now, it only works on the rear-facing camera.

Changes vs. V5:
-fixed bug which caused hdr+ shot failure sometimes!

-added some description to "HDR+ parameters". For example: 8/10 burst, 1500 MB means: HDR+ operates with 8 shot bursts. Portrait mode (ZSL) operates with 10 shot bursts at most. Estimated total memory usage: 1500 MB (including camera2 api buffers).

Crashes when switched to front camera. And my device(galaxy s7 Exynos) restarts when video is set to 60 fps. So far so good with the rear cam.

Thanks for your work. Observing the same issue. Front cam not working.

No dice, neither version 1.1 or 1.2 works, v1.1 dosn't give any changes in portrait mode or HDR+ and version 1.2 error out with " can't connect to camera"

If you don't enable RAW Capture, you'll get a black screen and only video recording will work.

Slow performance, but this is expected in our low-end phone. However, other GCams are a little faster, specially when switching between modes (photo, video recording, night sight...)

Enable wide camera
Remember that your ROM needs to expose it. For more information check the FAQ below.
Go to Settings->Modules>White list then type 50 , press Ok and restart the app
Enable motion photos
Go to Settings->Global and enable "Motion Photo"
Go to Settings->Modules->Back (1.0) and set "Module hardware level" to "Level 3". This will make Motion Photo work on the back camera.
If you want to enable Motion Photo on other camera modules, repeat this same process on them.

FAQ / Issues​Black screen. Only video recording works​Make sure you installed the Magisk module to enable RAW Capture.
​Sometimes the phone lags / freezes / reboots while using GCam​This happens to me quite a lot. Sometimes the phone freezes and I have to reboot it holding volume down + power key, and other times it reboots itself. This is most likely a software issue on our camera library, and nothing can be done for now.
Closing all other apps before opening GCam seems to help a lot with both the overall performance and stability, so I suggest to do this.
Wide camera is not detected / doesn't appear​Your ROM needs to expose it. You can check this using the Camera2 API Probe app: if it's being exposed, you should see a camera with ID 50 at the bottom of the list.
Additionally, some GCams also require to change some setting.
How to expose the wide camera?​If your ROM doesn't expose the wide camera, as far as I know nothing can be done.
However, if you are using PHH's AOSP GSI or any other based on it (like LineageOS GSI, Pixel Experience GSI, etc.), you can expose it by going to Settings->PHH Treble Settings->Samsung Features-> Tick "Enable access to all cameras" and reboot.
Photos aren't saving when HDR is enabled​This seems to be an issue in newer GCams, like in BSG's GCams newer than 8.1.
I haven't found a fix for this.
Night sight photos are pinkish and blurry​This seems to be a common issue in all GCams.
A workaround is to lock AF/AE, which can be done by pressing any part of the screen to focus and then pressing the lock that appears at the top right.
This needs to be done every time before you take a photo with Night Sight.
Slow motion doesn't work!​I haven't found any GCam with working slow motion as of now. Seems like our phone just doesn't support it.

How do I download? And which APK to download? Is it the "googlecameng" APK? After I click the APK it says "you are trying to access a temporary link."

Not right now. I will soon add two (mine, which just makes it easier to get the wide camera to appear, and another guy's config which modifies colors and contrast).

Yeah, they are all the same. I don't know why you're getting that message. What browser are you using?

Firefox on mobile. I was able to download it on firefox desktop, idk why it's not working on firefox android.

I have cleaned the thread a little bit and also uploaded my config for BSG's 8.1 GCam. Most of its changes are on the back camera, as I made it for personal use and I don't really use the front and wide cameras. It'll probably be updated over time, when that happens I'll try to notify it by commething here.
