plz help to make my one plus one alive... - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello gyz, i ve a one plus one and its bricked now its not booting to recovery and Fastboot its only shows one plus logo and powered by android in half erased and sometimes when plugged to charger it shows the battery is low and some Chinese blah blah and when tried to boot Fastboot its get off and its stand off for somtimes.....
Can any one have a solution for this
Plzz help
Sorry for my bad English.....

let the phone charger for 10 minutes and then turn it on while the charger is still connected....if its boot then the problem is the battery...buy new battery and it will solved your issues....

This happened with me as well sometime back, I had to replace the battery. And in my case the charging strip also broke (may be a short-circuit).
Service centre people said that my motherboard needs a replacement and will cost around 15-17K, however, I found a website which fixes any hardware issues in a nominal cost (doing a chip level repair) and if a part needs a replacement they will only replace that specific part. GadgetWood is their name. Google it.
I will suggest to leave the phone connected to the stock charger overnight if a few minutes doesn't help. Hopefully that will fix the problem.
All the best.

But i ve charge it and then it get stucked on one plus half logo for a long time

The charger must be connected when you turn on your phone...that is how you check whether the battery is good or bad...

Low battery bootloop but accessible via PC (fastboot & flashmode)

Hey community,
i bought a sony xperia z3 three months ago.
Yesterday I recognized that my phone was at 50% battery after charging the whole night.
I thought that its a bug or something and I got my real 100%, but after ~3 hours it was still at 50% and suddenly there was the "you have to charge your phone"-pop up for 1ms.
So i decided to plug in my charger and thought my phone will charge again. But no, the battery icon also switched from 14% to 50% in this 1ms. It was going on like (13%<->50%, 12%<->50% and so on) this until my phone died and got 0%.
I haven't unlocked my bootloader, flashed it or something like this. It was the original vodafone branded sony xperia z3.
Until now I can't charge my phone, because everytime I plug in the charger, my phone is booting with the low-battery icon and after 5 seconds it's turning of in a loop. Booting for 5 seconds and then shutting down and so on...
I thought my phone will have enough battery when I will plug in the charger for the whole night and my phone will try to start in this loop until it has enough battery. But again, nope!
Now I decided to unlock the bootloader and flash my phone with Cyanogenmod 12 or CMW, because my phone is accessible from the computer. I can go into the flashboot and flash mode.
But also after unlocking and flashing I've got the same thing again. It won't start.
I tried to charge it for about 4 hours in flashboot mode, because then the blue light is shining and my phone is not shutting down. But NOPE, same **** again.
I don't know what I can do anymore. Can you help me?
Do you think I have to change the battery?
Looking forward to hear from you! It's only three months old never dropped or something like this.
greetings and sorry for the wall of text
shimmy
bro warranty covers that, but as soon as u unlocked bootloader, u kinda voided that too =(
go to Vodafone and DO NOT mention that you unlocked bootloader and explain the problem within 2 weeks of purchase u should receive a brand new device and afterwards they'll repair it for you
I have a small crack (2mm thick and I think it came from pressure) at the backcover and asked vodafone if they can change my backcover, because now it's not guaranteed that it's waterproof.
They said no, because it's my own fault if something is cracked or broken on the case and I have to pay 259€ to get a new one.
Yesterday I called vodafone again because of this problem and they won't repair it, because of my first support case and I have to pay 259€ to get a new phone. I was arguing for about 1 hours that this is a guarantee case and it has nothing to do with the crack, but they don't care and there are some laws that I could say that they have damaged my phone and so on. No chance.. Maybe I should call my advocate.
I read something about locking the bootloader? Maybe I can flash a stock version and lock the bootloader?
Try yellow reset button.
I also tried this before. It doesn't fix the problem.
Hi guys, Sorry to bring up such a old post but having a similar issue.. My Mrs phone just started rebooting one day, Vodafone refused to replace because tiny crack. The boot loader is unlockable I tried repairing with xperia windows tools the flashed older and different firmware's many times. The phone works when connected to PC but when unplugged or on normal charger just constant reboot.
Any suggestions on what to do?
Thanks

Oneplus One Reboot Issue : Suggestion or Help Needed

My OPO is having a reboot issue, was on cos13, cm14.1 and ubuntu with mutirom,
Symptoms
1. the phone stays on if connected to a charger or powerbank.
and without charger it bootloops at the 1+ logo
2. in switched off state, when charger is connected the battery sometimes shows 0% and increases to 100%
3. with charger i entered cm recovery, removed the charger, the phone stayed all night long with cm recovery menu display on.
after draining the battery, i plugged back charger and the phone in switched off state did show the regular charging animation and took the usual time to full charge.
after full charge I removed the charger, tried to power on the phone boot loops at 1+ logo.
4. without charger it can enter fastboot mode.
5. with charger it can boot into os, shows charging, led lit up, but after removing charger it won't stay long, also if opening camera it turns off.
6. even on powerbank it can boot up and stay switched on. and work normally (camera etc anything)
(7. while turned off and on charger the animation shows charging but the top led isn't on.) - I don't remember it lighting up on charging while switched off
8. the night before this issue occured, my phone rebooted twice while watching youtube. and in the previous nights also I noticed battery dropping overnight.
what all I tried,
1. fastboot flashed cos, - not solved
2. flashed using Qualcomm USB port tool - not solved.
3. ran the make_ext4fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p15 command in twrp. - not solved.
4. erased and flashed persist.img - not solved.
so what could be the problem, opo is now my secondary phone, now using op3 as primary.
The battery is at its end of its life....replace the battery and all your problem will be gone...
you're not the only one that have experiences this problem (i have seen more then 10 people having the same problem)...last year and this year there a lot of people having bootloop problem due to dying battery...factory reset, flash stock rom and etc won't help you solved this problem...
i personally have this problem last year and after i replace the battery all my problem gone...i think Oneplus made OPO batteries only lasted for 2 and a half year....

thanks for the reply i guessed that, but still wasn't sure, can it be also due to any issues to board, anyway since i've done with flashing and all i'll try an OP service center, and hope it won't costs me big.

Nope it is not issues with the motherboard but batteries...the phone can be turn on like normal when charger is connected and goes into bootloop once the charger is disconnected....its a clear sign that the battery is dying...when it connected to the charger, it may look like the battery is full but it is not...just buy a new battery and all your problem will be gone...you can try flashing lot of rom, revert to stock or whatever you do in fastboot but it ain't gonna help you...it might boot normally but within an hour it will goes back to bootloop....
like i said before i was on the same pages as you last year...all the flashing stuff didn't work until i replace the battery....there no issues with the motherboard whatsoever....my phone still work atm without any bootloop problem...
feel free to go to OP services center if you want, if they tell you it was a motherboard issues then you have been screwed by the services center by repairing something that is still in good condition and you gonna pay more then just a batteries afterwards...

I have almost exactly the same problem. The thing is I cannot find a way to enter multirom recovery even on a charger. When on a charger it tries to boot into my primary rom but gets stuck on it endlessly.
Are you sure its the battery? I mean, mine charges to 100% when plugged in and doesnt seem to have any problem with charging. Mine did it a few days ago, it went into a bootloop for no reason. I havent touched anything for a year and it happened so randomly and lost everything I had on it...

Hey dude Thanks a lot... I was facing exactly same issue for last 2 days... I bought OPO on Dec 5 th 2014... I think its battery only works 2 years...
@iPusak Gaoq™, tried to get a suitable battery online but the shipping charge killed most deals, some were even counterfeits, so finally I decided to visit an op service centre, they replaced the battery with a new one, now my OPO is good as new. thanks again.
I was just going to post, about my issue, but the forum suggested your post. I read the first post, and yes, I am facing the exact same problem. Taking a picture and the phone shuts off. Vibrating from getting a notification and restart.
And the saddest part, the phone won't boot into OS if is it not plugged to PC or AC power.
My Opo is almost two years old. Can you suggest a good battery replacement for me?

Hard to suggest which batteries is good if you planning to bought it online cause there no way you can know whether the batteries you gonna buy is original or OEM...only when you bought the batteries in a retail store then you can see whether its original or OEM and yes the differences between both batteries is noticeable...

[HELP NEEDED] LG G Flex 2 H959 bootloop

I started having this for quite a while now.
With charger the phone can boot if it's the LG one (tried powerbank, didn't work)
Without charger it bootloops.
==========ADDITIONAL BEHAVIOR============
Device heats up after a while, making the bootloop worse...
The LG logo keeps flashing.... Won't stop until I pop the device open and remove the battery
What's working:
Download mode
System (used to)
What seems to be broken:
Recovery (Boots to recovery but exits it immediately)
Need help here...
Please let me know what could have caused the issue thx
Update: Planning to get a new battery.
LG G Flex 2 H959
Not Rooted, stock 5.1.1
22/5/18: Given up on repair, its irreparable at this stage
I think your battery is dead, i had the same problem, the phone didn't turn on, only with the charger pluged could be used normally. So i bought a battery on ebay and the problem ended.
Oh thx... Will see if that helps
Any more methods guys??? Need them urgently
Anyone?
BTW, is the flashing LG logo a battery issue?
Just to confirm, yes the battery is the issue. My G Flex 2 (H959) experienced the exact same issue, and was fixed by a simple battery replacement. Remember reading several threads about this as well, and most of the then managed to fix it with a battery replacement
Well thx I fixed it
Bought a new battery
The problem returns.
Now the device won't boot, after using for a couple months.
It randomly switched off when I was watching YouTube. Then it started up again and switched off. Pls help.
Note: I can try to start it again when I pull the battery, but same result. Using the NEW battery now.
I feel like I need to start this thread up again.
I have tried using a air dryer to heat the motherboard. The phone still isnt booting properly. Help needed here.
Your Mobo is faulty and defective, same as 90% of all LG G flex 2 released
Yeah, new battery only fixes this issue for like a month, then it returns. I guess its motherboard failure and it either destroys the battery, or isn't able to charge it properly. Guys in other posts here are posting some fixes with heatgun, hair dryer, baking in the oven etc. I baked mine for 220°C for 10 minutes in aluminium foil... and no ... it just killed the motherboard totally. The phone is awesome, but it only works for a year and a half, then you can throw it in the trash. I had my hands on four of these devices, and they did it all. One is still with me, but just recently it started rebooting out of nowhere, so I guess its just a matter of time before this one dies too.
I gave up on fixing mine totally... Let's hope my G5 doesnt face the same fate

Shutting down after startup

Hi,
there are some threads about the bootloop problem, but I couldn't find exactly same problem: some days ago my phone landed into the bootloop. It was a bit spooky with battery charging state, it was jumping for different states - 3%, 99%, 24% after every loop. So I bought a new battery and replaced the old one. Now the phone starts to LG logo (with starting sound), but after 10 seconds I can hear the power-off sound and the phone turns off. It seems to be a "normal" shutdown, not the "reset-bootloop": I hear power-off-sound, LG-power-off-logo and LED is blinking blue for about 10 seconds. After that it repeats infinitely. Also, if I turn the phone off it stays off, but if I put the charger in it, it's starts from itself again and again. Did not tried the hard reset until now. Any ideas, guys?
update: tried hard reset. it's starts until "optimizing apps", if it's done, i can see for a second the "first setup" screen and then it's immediately shutting down. same problem with the old, original battery.
edit: for the first time I saw message "high temperature" on the screen, before it was powered off. But the phone is not even warm...

What you describe is exactly that happened to the Mrs's GF2. One day it was fine and then all of a sudden the battery drained really quick. Now she can only get to the optimizing apps screen before it shuts down again. Ordered a new battery but that doesn't look to be the solution from your findings. :crying:
My phone has the exact same prblm n i was thinking of buying a battery but now that i have read your post i am doubting my battery purchase.
By the way have u found any fix also are u sure the battery is genuine n not some poor replica?
I had this problem when I had flux in my battery port causing a battery connection problem. Sometimes it said temperature too high and other times temperature too low. I was able to fix it by taking out the motherboard using 90% alcohol and a toothbrush to clean the battery port in the motherboard. Then I let it dry and problem was gone. Now I'm not saying this is exactly your problem but it just means that there's most likely bad connectivity to your battery. It could be your battery, the cable or the port.
Mrs received her new battery and it seemed genuine. Put it in and the phone is 100% dead. No power, no charging, no life.
Its not all bad news as she bought a Honor 6X which is a far better phone.
I tried all the hints I could find (except cleaning it with alcohol), but nothing help to start the phone again. Could be defective heat/temp sensor on the motherboard.
Battery was from "Polarcell" - that's a pretty good one manufacturer with satisfied user reviews on amazon (also had good personal experience with their batteries). Just for info: phone doesn't even start with original battery anymore - same problem.
I already switched to Honor 9 (excellent phone!), but will give another try and clean the battery attachment port with alcohol today. Will give you an update later.
If you plug the phone into the charger does it even show the battery charging symbol at all?
From what I've been reading the temp sensor is in the battery and sends the temp signal through the battery connector to the motherboard. So if you replace the battery it's like plugin in a new temp sensor. However if the connector is bad then that's the only thing that I can think off that would prevent the phone from starting. If the port is bad I don't know if it can be fixed or not.
Had no luck yesterday with port cleaning. Still the same error.

Yes, but it's more complicated. If the phone is turned off and you plug USB in, it starts to boot from itself (without pressing the power button). In most cases it's going up to LG logo and powering off again. After powering off I can see battery charging symbol for about 5 seconds, after that it's changing to battery symbol with an thermometer. While the phone is in this bootloop, it's charging. From the point with this battery temperature symbol it stops charging. I read something on reddit about getting it up to 100% could solve the problem. So, I tried to plug it on and off about 50 times to get fully charged, got it up to 100%, but it's still rebooting. Can't get into recovery, but it's possible to get into the "hard reset"-menu, where I can wipe data. After this the phone boots normally (at the first sign), it's starting optimizing apps, I can see the "first-setup"-screen (that one with language chooser) for a half second and it turns off again. Same behavior with both batteries - new one and the original.

That's a lot of combined symptoms. I have no idea what could be wrong with yours exactly. I would try to bake the motherboard with solder flux as a last resort. I had to do that with my G flex 2 twice to bring it back to life. I'm not sure if it would fix it in your case, but at this point you don't have much to lose.

I've already spent enough time with trying get it back to life. Loved this phone, but I had to send it to LG service every half year (3 times!) and got it every time with a new motherboard back. My brother had to send his one two times within a year because of several problems (no vibration, no sound through 3.5 jack...). Furthermore it was not possible to root or unlock the bootloader since Android 6 (what I've got with the last replaced mainboard, but what was not available through the software update!). So, just for me it was a very bad experience and for sure I'll not buy an LG phone for the next 10 years.

Oh, that might void your warranty if you changed battery yourself. As I can see you're from Germany, EU, so you should ask for DAP (defective after purchase) act from service to get refund for your phone.
I've never heard about DAP. Do I give them my phone and get from them some money back or what is that about? Is it an manufacturer service or general refund possibility in EU?

Samsung killed my phone :'(

So I was at my cousin's house and my Xperia XZ Premium G8142's battery was running out and I didn't have my charger on me so I tried to use his Galaxy Note 9's charger. At first it was charging normally two minutes later it stopped charging and the Battery Care app crashed so I unplugged it and kept using it until it was fully discharged when I got back home I charged it with the original quick charger without any problems. The next day I noticed the battery was draining really fast but I thought it might be because of some apps running in the background. Later that day the WiFi connection was repeatedly disconnecting so I decided to reboot hoping to fix the connection issue but the phone got stuck on Sony logo for about two minutes then it suddenly died now it doesn't give any response no screen, no LED, no vibration, no flashmode, no fastboot, no nothing :crying: .
I went to a local maintenance center (not Sony Because there isn't any in Syria) they said that the power circuit was fried because of the high power rate of the Note 9's charger (Which didn't have any kind of a warning not to use it on other android devices) and they don't have the replacement parts .Now I'm stuck with a dead Sony flagship because Samsung didn't bother to warn their users to not use the charger on other devices and because Sony didn't export replacement parts to Syria due to political issues :crying: .
Does any of you know a way to send the device to an official Sony support center to fix it or how to get replacement parts so it can be fixed by a local center. Please Help I'm really desperate :crying: .
Thanks.
well Sony isnt a well known brand... If you are under warranty though, you can maybe contact international Sony support center and tell them about the issue.
Then again, how did you get your phone if your country doesnt ship parts to it? is it under warranty?
I also once tried my brother's galaxy s9+ charger, charged 1% and then stopped, I tried again, same thing happened so I realized the charger isnt good for Sony...
but I dont think your issue is only related to samsung charger because Ive seen more people having dead battery after being drained completely, I think its an issue in some Xperia devices...
Any way, if you are under warranty, there is no reason for Sony not to fix it for you, even in another country (depending on where you bought your device from), if you bought it from a private shop, maybe you can still ship your phone by paying a couple hundred $...
wish you all the best
Thank you for responding.
Unfortunately the warranty expired on 2nd of October.
I contacted Sony support center but they haven't provided a way to ship the phone to them.
Even though there are many shops in Syria are able to get Sony Xperia devices to sell not many repair shops bother to get the replacement parts for them because people are becoming less and less interested in Xperia smartphones especially when Samsung was able to provide more affordable devices (for a while).
I don't think it's a battery issue it was about 73% when the phone died (while rebooting) and i was able to charge it with the original charger twice after the battery was drained.
I'll try contacting Sony again and I'll look further for someone how might have or can acquire the replacement parts.
Thanks again for your time.
hello test volume (+) + power ? after test repair with xperia compagnon or flashtool ?
Unfortunately I tried the Volume up + power button combination many times and for different periods of time up to 5 min. but nothing happened and the Windows wont even see that there's a connected device and the phone doesn't go to flashmode or fastboot.
