I used to call my family through IMO, Tango .. etc. I noticed that my data turned off automatically within 2 to 3 minutes. There is no limit for data using in phone settings. So, I'm wondering what is the main reason.
My phone is Huawei mate 9
By the way, my phone is huawei mate 9.

EDIT: SOLVED
I accidentally found the option I was looking for while fiddeling around in BatteryXL. At the checkbox-option for autosync... if you click on the text left of the checkbox insted, you are able to select WIFI and/or DATA. Well hidden =). The initial results is promising, but will run it for some days to make sure it works properly. As for now I see this as solved.
I have an issue that I've stuggeled with for days now and it's starting to drive me crazy.
What I'm trying to do is to make my phone, in intervals, enable autosync + wifi, sync/update then turn back off again without mobile data ever beeing activated. I want mobile data to be activated manually only.
So far I've been able to do everything except preventing mobile data to activate. If wifi is available it overrides and turns off mdata, but im not fully satisfied with this. I use BatteryXL Pro for the scheduled autosyncs.
Here's my setup:
HTC Desire S
Rooted - cm7
BatteryXL Pro (Options: Smart Wifi + Smart data enabled, these basicly just manage how wifi and mdata is turned off again. Smart AutoSync: frequency 15 min, duration 1 min)
Background data and Autosync is disabled in the phones settings.
I've been messing around with the APN settings aswell.
I had this working on my stock OS before i rootet. Any suggestions on how to solve this?
Thanks, warjar
Hi everybody. One issue came up on my Huawei Ascend Mate 7 model MT7-L09 : just switched off manually mobile data in order to update from EMUI 3 to EMUI 4 and android 6 using wi-fi connection (saving cost of mobile data internet big load data transfer for that update) . The unpleasant surprise appeared after all the update and optimization finished, when I realized that mobile data cannot be activated anymore although I switched ON manually mobile data again from the settings menu. So in a few words: the mobile data icon looks switched ON but no "H" symbol for mobile data displayed and of course no Internet (
If anybody can give me a solving hint would very appreciate it.
Best regards.

Hei... problem solved - apn setting
10x everybody
Awesome. I know how frustrating it must have been.
Hello, I have been using the mate 9 for a month now and i have a couple of issues that are bugging me, so i wanted to see if anyone here might have a solution for them
1. My 3g billing month starts on the 8th of the month, but in the settings i cannot set this. It defaults to the 1st of the month.
2. When i enable the twin whatsapp app, i start getting notification delays on both versions. disabling the twin copy fixes this.
3. Google Location history keeps turning off randomly, and when it does the timeline feature in google maps stops working. any idea why it turns off ?
Thank you in advance
Yes the inability to set my billing cycle is also annoying me. Why remove it from stock Android Huawei?
Sent from my MHA-L29 using Tapatalk
I thought billing cycle was stock android - so they have actually removed it!
Just go to "mobile data" setting on the day your billing starts and enter how many GB you are allowed. It will start counting from there.

Hi everybody!
I hope you could help me with something. I want to track a vehicle using an android phone which will be permanently connected and hidden inside the car (in case it gets stolen).
I already bought a second hand Lenovo A1000 for $20 with Android 5.0. I've installed Google Trusted Contacts (minimum Android version 4.1) and added myself with constant share on (all the time). I've got a mobile data plan for $2/month which offers 100 MB internet that should be sufficient for the needs of Trusted Contacts.
I'll disable all apps on the phone, turn off wifi & bluetooth, dim the display to the max, and disable internet usage of anything but the Trusted Contacts app. The phone can stay in standby mode for over a week and it'll be charged every time the vehicle is used (which will be every day). So basically it'll always be on.
However, in case I want to access the phone and check something or make some changes, which app can I use? The phone will be physically inaccessible so I need an app which will always be running in the background and should be able to start automatically if the phone restarts for some reason.
Do you have any ideas about such an app? And any suggestions regarding my idea in general - with Google Trusted Contacts and the hidden phone?
Thanks!

I have read up to change the WiFi details of the head unit (eonon) that I am tethered from, by doing proxy stuff but really don't understand?
I have the same problem. I was able to use wirelessAA with my huawei p20 pro phone with developer settings. However, since the phone is connected to the vehicle's wifi network, it does not use mobile data. For this reason, I cannot use any online application, including maps. I read in the network settings of the tool that it is necessary to write a fake proxy manually, I typed something randomly on this screen, but without success. Any ideas on what I should do about this?
