Hi, All
I was wondering if anybody would be interested in a Custom Vaja Ivolution Case for the Nexus One.
For anybody that hasn't heard of them, they are suppose to be the Prada of mobile phone cases. They mainly make cases for the Iphone.
I want to get one, but they still only make a Pouch.
I have put in a request on the Vaja website & would appreciate if anybody else who is interested in one please put in a request. The link to the website is below.

I love Vaja cases. I had one for my Palm TX a few years ago and it was amazing quality. It's spendy, but it's worth it.

If you own a Nexus One & want a Vaja Ivolution Case, please contact Vaja & give them your suggestion.
The more people ask for this, the more likely they will make it.
Those are some cool looking cases, but I worry about the N1 version they show on their site. The bottom corners are not protected at all. Even if the phone is in the case and you drop it, you could still end up with gnarly looking corners after just one drop onto some concrete. They need to come out with ones like I saw for the iPhone and Palm that fully protect the whole phone.
From what I can see there is already one under Products - Phone - Google - Nexus one. Or are you looking for something else?

Exactly, that's what I'm saying. I mentioned Ivolution case not the Pouch they currently make.
If you want a Nexus One Ivolution please contact Vaja!

Ahh right, i thought it simply was a pouch you were looking for. After a quick google they do look awesome on the iPhone, request put in here too

The style & quality is no where near as good as Vaja
Been a long time Vaja fan ever since the PDA ages where I had a Sony Clie N70. I still actually have that case and works and fits like a glove. I have since gone down the ivolution line with a lot of Sony Ericsson products and when I saw this pouch I got excited for a minute but noticed that it wasn't really a case. I would def pay top dollar for a nice case if one was made for my N1.
The Argentinian leather is absolutely top notch. In my opinion, the best leather you can buy out there.

need to change design..
I'm eager to get vaja case for N1 and already sent email to them long time ago.
but I can't understand why they made as like this design.
To compare with HD2 and iPhone, they have flip cover!
that's more comfortable and useful.
I hope they're reconsidering about this design. I know that N1's market share is too small, but they're enthusiast and will pay for good case.

i managed to get a nexus case for this, but it doesnt protect from scratch if it fell...so i would like a hard case !
i had an iphone for over a year it was brand new after all that time because of a hard case + screen protector
and a good screen protector too

I'll wait and see what they say, i explained why i wanted a refund so will see.
Sent three requests that the order be cancelled which were obviously ignored as i have now received an out of stock email...
They emailled me last night to say that these cases are definitely for the Desire but they didnt have a stock photo, and that stock will be arriving around the 5th of May - its been delayed for obvious reasons.
yes, I got a mail saying out till the 2nd May. Argh.

But the photo is not a HTC desire!
I got told out of stock till May 3rd. But definitely Desire specific (not Google Nexus desipte the picture not updated yet).
I had one of the crystal cases turn up in the post today from whitefeatherderby on eBay. Pretty pleased with it though I am bothered how slippery it will be on tables, etc. I also have one coming from Hong Kong too but realised after I ordered it that it's a purple one...

Can you let me know how the DC Mugen one goes? I'm a big fan of their cases and they said they weren't going to make any so I ended up buying one from somewhere else.
I went for the Epik cases when I got my Nokia 5800 and they protected the phone amazingly. It wasn't too big on the phone and bounced well lol. Really protected the phone.
Ah. Despite buying one from another company, I'm going to get this.

i ordered one of these today to replace my nexus gel cover. it looks like an improvement, will see when it arrives
FWIW - the Nexus one case I purchased as an interim case whilst waiting on something better to come out appears to be an Epik case.
The case I got is the one with the red Nexus One badge on the back.
Cost about 3 quid off ebay...
I just ordered a Mugen Epik specifically for the Desire - I bought the TPU one.
Will give you the rundown once I've recieved it.
Anyone know if there is a totally transparent one available in this type. The only ones that I could find are for the Nexus One.
Reviews of this one (any colour!) would be good though, looks a slightly bulky in the pictures but I'm guessing it will be the same as the silcone cases.

How long did the delivery take? Any chance of pictures? The ones on eBay seem out of proportion for some reason, making the case look a bit bulky.

i ordered it on 3rd May, so just over a week. it's not bulky, it looks the same as the nexus gel cover i've been using for a month when fitted to me.
i'll see if i can sort some pics out later.
the screen protector that comes with it is one of the ones with the 2 tabs to apply, also comes with a cloth.

Thanks for that. I currently have a Nexus cover too. Think I will go ahead and order it. I did actually want a TOTALLY clear (Desire specific) case but as of yet, all those that I've seen are either tinted or coloured.

Nice one. Your pictures do the case far more justice than the ebay pics. The smoked black is starting to grown on me.
@str355: That's an actual 'hard case' isn't it? I do prefer the 'soft' ones.

Mine arrived yesterday (DC Mugen), it's a perfect fit for the Desire.
Just a tad bit annoying trying to unlock the phone, you have to press on the button harder with the skin on, and there's less of a 'feel' as to whether the button is pressed down or not.

First off, yes - I used the search feature. No thread actually asks whats the best screen protector is?
I'm looking for one that's easy to apply. HOPEFULLY not liquid based. The static cling ones seem to work well...
Either way, liquid-based or static, I'm just looking for the best feeling screen protector that does it job. Any links, personal experience, etc, would be great!
I've seen a few on eBay but I've heard that they don't have the proper edges to the screen and such... Like, it doesn't fit with the contours of the screen, how the Sensation's screen curves.
Anyways, TLDR: looking for the best screen protector based on personal experience.
I can tell you one NOT to get - the Martin Fields Screen Protector. Terrible fit
The best protectors I have used so far are the official htc ones. Great fit. But hard to get the corners down. i soaked them in water as it makes it easier to align and apply.
I just installed my phantomskinz. Got a few little bubbles and is a bit hazy. Need to wait a day or two before they go away, hopefully.
I will go for the official htc ones. Very smooth! But are fingerprint magnets.
I've got some official ones on order at the mo, hopefully arrive 2moro. When you say soak them in water do you mean give them a quick dunk or a proper soak?

I gave it a proper soak in warm water to soften it up to try and mould it to the corners.
It doesn't matter really. If you have lint stuck on the protector, you can wash it in soapy water and re-apply. Once applied you will notice some haziness due to the soap. It goes away after a day or two.
The hTC ones seem to be the favorite..
the only place i've found in the US to purchase them are expansys-usa.com and they are out of stock until August...
Anyone else know where we can purchase these??

Actually samsung did it with Note9, found it by luck in one of our local online stores here in Dubai. I don't think its available on Amazon anywhere (US, UK & CANADA) YETTTT...
Sharing it here so if others are interested, they can keep an open eye around waiting for it.

I had this hard case for my Note 8 and even though it doesn’t seem to offer that much protection it provides a perfect grip and make the withd of the phone ideal to not slip at all from the hand.

What comes with the phone is a tpu cover, this one is hard plastic with a very thin profile and the best grip..
My note 8 came with the hard plastic case like that which you described.

Real nice fit, ultra slim profile & no rainbow effect.
FWIW, it does not have the raised corners (or any raised edges) like the PC OEM Case for the Note 8.
Protection is as minimal as it gets, top & bottom are fully exposed, oversized cutouts for the buttons.
IMHO, perfect......
