My 1st gen moto g (XT1032, rooted, stock deodexed rom) wont charge. It shows the white LED notification thing for hours. It's been doing this for around 2 weeks. I got it to charge to 17% once, then it wouldnt charge again. What can I do?

I had purchased my moto g 20 days back .On 03/03/2014 i had charged my moto g to 100% .After that i had used internet for few hrs and the battery went to 85%. I didn't use it after that and had kept the phone on a desk. After 2 hrs when i picked up the phone to my surprise it was in switched off mode. I switched it on and found the battery level as 1%.
I fail to understand how it got switched off and came from 85% to 1% with no use at all , no wifi ,no calls etc.
This is the second time i faced this issue .First on 27-02-2014.
I haven’t connected my moto g to pc till now. I am using official moto g charger that came with my phone.
I had recallibrated my battery already by keeping it in charging stage for almost 5 hrs on 27/02/2014 when I first faced this issue.
Is the battery faulty or what?
Has anyone else faced such issue ? Any Fix?

Hello, I use a Moto G XT1032 with android 4.4.4. When battery level is 30-40%, I observe a sudden drop of charge by 5% or so for no reason. I use a Motorola wall charger for charging the phone and charge it fully to 100%. This problem also occurred with Android 4.4.2. Please suggest.
Is there any way to measure the actual battery capacity?
I have used a moto e 1st gen previously and now using moto g 3rd gen.
Moto E - battery capacity/Charger voltage/Approx time to charge - 1980mAh/550mA/3hrs
Moto G - battery capacity/Charger voltage/Approx time to charge - 2470mAh/1150mA/2.5hrs
I have a powerbank of 5000mAh... it was able to charge moto e 2 times completely and partially the 3rd time, but for moto g, one complete charge and only about 20% for the second time...
Can someone explain this now? Is moto g having a battery of higher capacity? with higher power charger still taking lot of time comaparitively... as well as powerbank not able to charge as expected...
Wow .. thats interesting
i would like to see answers given by Techs
Your power bank might be 5000mAh, but since it's not 100% efficient, you'll lose some of that. Which is why your usable power might be only 80%.
On the other hand, it should have charged the Moto G atleast 1.5 times. Try again. Was the powerbank charged to full?

My Moto g (1st gen) isnt really charging. First there is the white led light, than it goes on and says 0% and than after like 10-20 sec it goes off again and repeats this process.
Replace your battery. Probably its damaged.
