I have a problem, I switch to cm6 ROM and I lost the ability to send group text messages. I need to be able to send group messages for work. Are there any reliable/quality programs out there that will enable me to send group text messages since I no longer have sense capabilities.

Hello. I need some help with group texting on the G2x. You see all my friends friends have iPhones when the receive a group text then they can respond to the whole group.
Let's say person A texts person B, on person B's iphone he sees a text message from person A in his conversation list. Now lets say after that person A texts person B again along with person C,D,E, and F as well. Now on person B's iphone is a new thread listing person A,C,D,E separate from the original thread between A and B. Also, if person B replies to person A in the group thread then everyone else in that thread also receives the reply. It is sort of like a group conference call but for text messages.
Now when I receive a group text message from someone, I only see the original sender of the message not the other recipients nor can I reply to everyone in the group. My messages only go to the Original sender.
Is there a way to allow my phone to do this?

Have you tried 3rd party SMS apps like GO SMS Pro?
MIUI has something like this. When you text a group of people at once, it keeps everything in 1 thread. I don't know if your phone will send out multiple texts to everyone.
See on the iPhone it isn't really text messages... (I don't think). Once you send a group text, it converts it to a data IM. It still shows up in the Messaging program, but it isn't SMS.
To do something like this strickly with SMS, you'd be sending out 5-6 messages at a time every time you sent a comment. If EVERYONE's phone sent a reply SMS to EVERYONE, it would work. But I think the iPhones convert it over to data.

That's exactly what it is. It's iMessage. It only works between iPhones. Guaranteed if the other person does a group text to C,D,E,F, B will see all the group members because A sent B the message using an iPhone and B had an iPhone, but let's say that C doesn't have an iPhone, they won't know it was a group text.
Annoying, but meh.
I’ve been getting a few group texts from friends and coworkers but I don’t understated how it is helpful and it did not seem like the M7 did it like this. My main issue is that something seems to be wrong as group texts don’t seem to be playing the notification sound and are not setting the text notification icon at the top of the screen. So I open the messages app to find bold unread messages and multiple threads for single accounts because it creates a new thread every time that user sends me a group text with a different combination of people in the group.

[Q] Group text message issue: I'm added as an additional "party" to the group message
I recently made the switch from Sprint to T-Mobile and currently use a Samsung Galaxy S5. I ported over my old number and everything is fine except for group text messaging. For group text messages, I'm included as an additional group member. In other words, when I receive texts from the group, I see myself IN the group (I appear as my phone number). When I reply back to the group message, I send myself a text as well because it thinks I'm another group member.
I'm not sure why it does this. Any help would be appreciated!

Is it possible to make the original sent mass text message appear in each individual's conversation threads rather than one thread with a group of names? Right now I have to send each person a personal text message for this to be possible. My reasoning is because when I get a reply, I want to see my sent text and then their reply text in each person's conversation. Is there an app or something that can do this?

Another question: I am also wondering if there is a way to automatically detect incoming messages as a group text. Right now I have to manually go into my Go SMS app's settings and turn on Group Messaging. But by then it is too late. when the Group Messaging setting is off, and I recieve a group text , the sender and all the replies all go onto their own individual conversations, and I have to reply to each person individually.
