WTF - Warning - SD Card contents

I haven't searched but saying that I've never seen anything like this on Desire or Sensation threads before.
I went to copy something over to the phone (using Windoze Explorer) and when I looked at the contents. I saw the attached. The phone, when I use Root Explorer, and PC agree :-((
For reference I've used Linux, PC (Explorer) and ADB 100% to copy files over successfully before, so no posts about using one or not using one.
All the Filenames etc. have been completely screwed up. Looks like they've been converted to DOS 8.3 format.
I have never ever seen this before. I think I must have run something on the PC when the phone was USB connected. It's about the only thing I can think of, the phone/SD Card/ROM have been 100% reliable so far.
LUCKILY, I made a rare backup of my SD Card yesterday. I usually remember to make one once in a blue moon.
All I can think is to recommend folks to disconnect the USB drive when not needed and do Backups (of the Phone and also the SD Card).

sorry to say this to you but your memory card has gone corrupted.
i know this because this has happened to me alot of times.
this happens if you use unbranded memory cards but this also happens to branded memory card.
the only solution i can give to you is buy a new memory card. and the main reason this happen when you connect your phone to your pc/laptop and use it as diskdrive and take the wire out while transferring data.
the only way to prevent is to use a safe remove usb and than change your diskdrive to charge only and wait till everything is loaded and then disconnect your usb wire.
also if you fornat your memory card it will work but i can tell you this that this willhappen again and this could happen without connecting your phone to computer. so to only prevent data loss buy a good new memory card.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm 99.8% sure it still works and he doesn't have to buy a new memory card yet .. I don't know where you get the idea that his memory card is completely dead! It looks like he still has his files, there's just all that junk in there! Worse comes to worst, he has to reformat it which I think may not even be necessary
Anyway, I've had a similar situation as yours and "repairing it" fixed those issues up. I didn't even reformat it, just repaired it. Try that! (Assuming you haven't already reformatted it anyway)

Update:
Card is fine. Just the filenames/pathnames got screwed.
As I said luckily I had done a backup of it yesterday, only by accident. I mounted the card on the PC directly (USB adapter) and deleted / copied stuff back.
It must have been something on my PC I ran as it changed the filenames/pathnames to 8.3. I did run something (can't remember the name) as I had problems doing the copy (SD Card to PC) for the backup. A few (4 if I remember) files were too long, exceeded the 255 limit. I D/L something to see what was the issue, turned out to be some book preview I'd accidently down loaded from the market.
All good and working now....
As I said just a warning that **** on the PC can screw the SD Card on the phone.
Backups (Nandroid and SD Card) are a pain but can be life savers.

i don't mean that he should buy a new memroy card because after formating/repairing it the memroy card will work but this corruption can happen again. if this happens again the onl;y thing he can do is buy another memroy card. this has hapened to my unbranded memroy card which was 16 gb class 10 and it happened atleast 5-6 times. since i couldn't take another corruption i have ordeered class 10 32gb lexar memory card which is working fine and its hasn't gave me any problem since i've been using it

Man that's what happened to one of my other 4 gb cards I don't use anymore. It was kinda funny. I ended up reformatting it, but an odd thing has happened... 3gbs went down to 1.7gbs... I can't even access the remaining 2gbs... no matter what I've tried.
I didn't buy a new card since it works just fine. Been using it as a "mini" file storage card for 4 months and no issues yet. =D

You sure everythings fine? A lot of files on that card read "0KB" which is definitely not a good thing.

Anyone with any issues with an SD card should first attempt a low level format.

It's fine.
Just that something I used, never used it before, to check filename/pathname lengths (due to FAT issues), seems to have converted everything to DOS 8.3 format. The ones that didn't conform to that were created after a phone re-boot.
This was only as a warning that **** does happen and backups, while a pain in the arse to do, can save a load of pain.
Off to try some ICS ROMs now so expecting a load more pain, d/l, CWM, Wipe, Swear, revert back to CM7. ;-)))) Just need to make sure that nothing updates my HBOOT..

Try .. A Full format of the SD Card
You need to do a Full format and wipe of the SD Card .. I have " fixed" a few this way.
I use: HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool - Seems to work for me

I9505 overheating? Check this, you never know...

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to let you know about what I have found out.
A couple days ago my I9505 started to overheat a lot, although it was not used and in my pocket. At first I thought it was the battery, so I switched it off and took the battery pack out, but it turns out it wasn't hot... but the phone was! Especially the upper part (around the camera, and even on the screen side). I waited and restarted the phone. After a while it did it again and my phone rebooted by itself after a few hours, which was a complete surprise: I have been running the last stable version of SlimBean, which is awesome and really stable for the past couple of months (the reason why although I have tried some KK based rom I ended up going back to 4.3).
Anyway, I though maybe something was wrong with my settings and I decided I would test a few KitKat ROMs, and so I did:
- SlimKat
- OmniRom
- CarbonRom
- AOKP
- CM11
- and a few more...
With all of them, I experienced the same issue. And I had them all for a few hours, because I know at the beginning the phone always retrieves data and apps from google servers, so I figured it was bound to heat, but not that much! And the random reboots happened in all of them.
This morning, I was ready to flash back to a stock ROM to have the phone serviced (I have knox tripped but I don't care, I don't think they would mess around with me about it here in Europe, at least from what I've heard, and anyway, I'd just tell them that Kies did it ), when I realised that Hey! the day before it started, I was unable to copy/paste all the data from my 32GB microSD card to my computer using the USB cable. I would systematically get an error saying that the device has been disconnected from the computer. I had even wondered if my USB cable was damaged, but seeing that the phone charged alright, I did not pay too much attention to it.
I started to investigate the card and retested some ROMs I had tested previously. This time I would not connect, but I did try with and without the card, and BINGO! every time I put the card in, it would overheat.
I then tested my card with an adapter in my computer, and there seemed to be something wrong with it, because even then the copy operation would hang! So I formatted the card (after I had backed up everything I could), and put it into the phone, where I formatted it again with the phone. Now the card has been (albeit empty) for a few hours in the phone, and no overheating or random reboot in sight (running the latest stable SlimKat).
So if your phone starts to overheat, especially the upper part, check what happens when you remove the SD card.
Hope I'll have helped someone with this. If you don't hear more about me in this thread, it means everything's alright. I'll start re-loading things on the same microSD card. I'll see if it is still faulty or if the phone heats up. If it does, I'll try with another microSD and see if it does the same.

Do tell me if the micro sd card is the problem. I have this overheating issue since a year and haven't been able to sove it. Yet. But i remember trying to rovercome this issue by the micro sd csrd method, it hadn't worked..
Anyways, this issue with s4 is too common, i know 10-15 people with the same issue, so i think its a hardware fault..

Thanks for this, very useful advice. Just recently I was having some issues with my phone not writing to my SD card and the card inexplicably filling up with data. It turned out to be corrupted data in the Android folder, so I backed up my stuff, formatted the card etc and that fixed it (as well as freeing up about 6gb of space on the card)
After reading your post it occurred to me that corrupted data may have been causing overheating in your phone, due to the card constantly being read over and over.
I didn't experience any overheating myself but it could well be the same cause. Either way, definitely worth checking if you're having overheating issues.

Very interesting. I for one reformat my SDcard every 2 to 3 months. Just a simple maintenance that i like to do. This is something good to keep in mind and thank you for sharing mate.

So! Some more info on this (just in case someone's interested), but first FYI Armaan.ag, the card seemed to be the issue.
I had another microSD card of the same capacity, so I copied every single file that was on the faulty card to my computer, and I noticed there were two mp3 files that were in fact not really mp3 files, but rather some junk that the phone must have created at some point.
I deleted these two files and copied all the rest to the new card, and it works just fine. So at least it's not a hardware issue on the phone: it reads the card content fine and does not overheat (well, IMHO a phone should not overheat when it encounters a corrupted file, but that's another issue)
As for the first (faulty) card, I have formatted it (full format) and checked it for errors. Windows tells me it is fine. I'm now copying all files back to it, I'll test it when it's ready. If it still crashes my phone, then I'll try on my wife's phone (I9300) and see what it does before I return it for exchange (the card is not even 3 months old).

When the OS is indexing files on the sd card the CPU will be working, if there is corrupted data on the card, it can interfere with the data indexing and cause the OS to read the card over and over. This will keep the CPU active for longer than it needs to be, and when the CPU is active for extended periods of time it can cause overheating.
Alternatively, the overheating could have been caused by a physical fault with the sd card reader or the sd card itself. Either way let us know how you get on.

Maybe upload on WiFi only. And when charging?

Just thought I'd let you know after re-formatting the card:
Complete format with windows, then erase card on the SGS4, which then complained that my card must be formatted, so I formatted it with the phone.
I've been going with the original "faulty" card for more than a week now, and I have had no overheating issue. All the files (except the corrupted files) that were on the card when the problem occurred are back on it. And no issue.

1.this is a 7.9mm phone
2.the back cover is thin as a sheet of paper
3.the sdSlot has been installed behind the processor (for speed reasons) and it's made of metal components so there s heat transmission
just replace your cover with the stock one of the 9505 black edition and tell me ..anyway i wanna try this solution tnx in advance

You're not wrong at all, but the fact here is that there was a real problem: it was really hot AND there was a huge drain on the battery, which changing the back cover wouldn't have solved.
Besides, I no longer need to do anything, since after formatting the card, it's back to normal, i.e. no overheating. But you're right that heat reaches the surface of the back cover when e.g. downloading or watching streamed videos for some time.

Galaxy S7 has corrupted my SD card

I have had my S7 since pretty much the beginning, I was fortunate enough to receive mine fairly early compared to others. Along with purchasing my new phone, I got a Samsung 64GB EVO Class 10 SD card to take advantage of the expandable storage. Everything had been going find until earlier today. I noticed that I got a notification that my SD card was corrupt, I didn't think it was that big of a deal as I didn't have very much data on the card as of yet so I clicked the option to format it. The phone seemed to be having issues reading the actual card as it couldn't seem to format it, an error kept popping up saying that the command had failed. I then put the SD card into my laptop to see if I'd have any more luck with it, and sure enough windows told me that the only way the card could be read was if it was formatted. After formatting the card through my computer, I put it back into my phone. It worked for about 5 minutes or so before telling me it was corrupt again, I'm not exactly sure where to go from here.

I had this Samsung 64GB EVO Class 10 Micro SDXC Memory Card with Adapter (MB-MP64DA/AM) from amazon with my S4 with no problems since it went on sale back in December. Last Friday I got the same message that it was now corrupt and I need to format it. My computer cant see it and I have some intense data recovery software that cant help either. Since those little SD cards have a 10 year warranty I got on the phone to Samsung. I spoke with a Samsung Galaxy expert and they advised me to call their Micro SD support team at 1-800-726-7864. I'll call them tomorrow and report back what they say.

Prolly got a fake from amazon

Amazon do insist they don't sell fake cards, however I have had the exact same problem with the exact same memory card, also bought off amazon. I've used this card in a few different phones with no issue, however upon installing it in my GS7, within a few days I got the same error message as described here. I have contacted Amazon and have had a replacement card (same one) and will see how it goes. I'm on about day three so far with no apparent issues. Tick Tock Tick Tock.....

I'll probably call them up also.. but I think I'll see what happens with yours before I just destroy another SD card

Just got off the phone with Samsung. They're sending me a RMA form to fill out through my email for a replacement. After the whole amazon fake SD card fiasco they're going through they are being very helpful so far. If you can return to amazon it will probably be quicker but I am at day 100 or so with this card.

I think I have the same problem. I have a Samsung card also (not evo) and have used it in several phones without a problem until now. In my case the card corrupts at reboot. I managed to f around and somehow the card was readable again (after re-inserting several times). However on the latest reboot I the phone no longer detects the card at all.
I doubt I have a fake card as I have been using it for over a year now and almost filled the capacity (64GB). I even formatted it when I first inserted into the GS7.
I have since ordered a new card but I hope this phone is not going to be killing cards!

RMA received. Samsung wanted a jpg or pdf of sales receipt and a pic of the back of the card. Card will be mailed to Samsung at my expense ($2 ish) and a new unit will be sent out. Fingers are crossed that the fast charge tech isn't sending card killing voltage spikes through the phone.

Just a quick update guys, in case it helps anyone, but my new card replaced from Amazon is working OK so far without issue.

Update, whilst it hasn't killed my SD card, I've just had an update and after that it refuses to write to any memory card I have. So I'm returning it tomorrow, it will read OK, but not write to.

I'm using a samsung pro+ 64GB card with my S7 and that annoying SD card notification keeps popping out. Sometimes I could see another notification said SD card removed/unmounted unexpectedly then the annoying notification. I've tried using an old 32GB TF card and I've never seen this annoying notification.
My guess is that S7/S7E have some compatibility issue with even Samsung's own newer and faster SD cards.
I'm waiting anxiously for an OTA hoping this is a software issue. I hope my S7 won't corrupt my SD card.

Update: Just received my replacement micro XD from Samsung in less than 2 weeks, very cool. I like their new usb card reader, very slick. Well see how long this lasts. I also just had a OTA update to the S7. Lets see what they fixed.

Same issue
Exactly same scenario as bensto23 first described, same SD card, however....I replaced that 64GB Samsung EVO with a Patriot 128GB and after about 2 weeks the same message popped up. But when I put this card in my laptop it couldn't see a problem (the Samsung was unreadable). So the Patriot went back in and everything was good until about a week later....same thing. S7 says the card is corrupted but it's not and works fine after removing and replacing. Haven't had time to call Samsung support but obviously this looks like an ongoing issue. So frustrating since this phone has been so flawless otherwise.

My S7 is in for repair as I type this. It's 6 weeks old. I had a 64GB SD card that I had used in my S5 for 18 months with no issues. I didn't have an S6 due to lack of SD slot and not waterproof. At 3 weeks old, the 64GB card developed a problem. I removed it from my S7, put it in my laptop, only to find it was corrupted, and I couldn't do anything with it. I put it down to being one of those things, and bought a 128GB SD. 3 weeks in again, and exactly the same fault! It is a hardware issue with the S7. I put my 32GB SD card in from my LG Leon, and the S7 wouldn't read that either. Be interesting to see what Samsung will do about replacing cards that have been destroyed by a phone!

Think i might be facing the same problem. When i put in a Sd card my phone freezes up a couple of times a day and without a sd card it running fine. I even think it messed up my first sd card because even after a format i cant write files bigger then 1 gb onto the card without getting a error on the computer. Also i can only do a quick format and if i do a full/long one it will eject the drive and fails every time. Im to scared to try a new sd card and think ill send this one back for warranty.

corrupt sd card
i have same problem with A7(2016) but i use 64GB U3 kodak SD card. it works fine until last week. i saw that i cant play musics so open memory by ES file Explorer and it says that empty. but when connect it to my loptop it had no problem and i find some files that recently created and remove files with 0 byte size. then connect memory to my phone it works nice but some day later the sd corrupts again and i repeat every thing i do last time and it work but sometime later corrupt again. i am confused how i can stop this cycle

Every phone I've had, every forum for that phone, complains of issues with Samsung cards, I would never touch Samsung cards. I've never had an SD card corrupt or fail but then i've never bought a Samsung card.

Got the same problem. Every time I reboot or unmount the external sd-card, the card becomes "corrupted". When I put the card in my PC it's just fine. I can read and write to the card.
I've got the 128gb sd card from Samsung (got it for free with the purchase of the phone).
Getting sick and tired of having manually backup and restore to my SD-card when I reboot my phone. Does anyone has a solution for this?

This must be software related, since when I do not reboot, the SD-card works perfectly fine. It only happens when I reboot or unmount.

had the same problem in my s7, it turned out for me the culprit is when I enable the pics saving to extsd option in camera. this corrupts my extsd.
before extsd it worked perfectly fine for days and weeks and survived plenty of reboots in the S7 (and in my previous phones as well), but as soon as I enabled the pics saving from camera to extsd option in the s7, at next reboot the message about corrupted camera came out. I can replicate this problem with these exact steps, so it is 100% sw issue for me, and related to that option in camera settings... if I use my intsd for camera pics, everything works just fine, I can see and access all my other content in the extsd etc.......

SD unsupported Error

First i have a very bigggg complaint to Samsung. i like samsung phones and using them for a while now but since from galaxy S6 (which by the way is an excellent phone) i have big complain of sim tray!!! like why you made it out of plastic and so fragile? just cannot understand a expensive phone with metal and glass and samsung save money by making plastic sim trays? wow... like now thats cost cutting. Samsung please grow and make durable aluminum sin trays.. agree?
now come to the point i broke my galaxy S7 sim tray and got another one from local dealer ( as getting genuine is rather impossible from where i am) and everything works fine upto SIM card, but as i put my SD card i got error that unsupported SD card please set up and formate. i said ohh ok.. lets do it. phone start formatting it and jump to 20% start and after few seconds i got error message. (image attached) as partition error something. But Cards ( as i tried multiple cards to check) are perfectly fine in other devices, computers). format with Ex-fat, FAT32.. but same error. any solution please. tray issue or its general S7 problem. but Sim working very fine in new tray.
any help will be highly appreciated
i have tried stock nougat, custom roms but same issue.
Current OS- stock Marshmallow with CF-auto root (battery is horrible in Nougat)

Seems pretty obvious if the card works in other devices that the problem is the S7 / Tray that you broke

But sim is working seem half tray is ok and upper half broken?

i dont think so. framework is stock and stock support SD cards by default. may be some other issue.

Meaning LineageOS and won't ever get along with sandisk or size larger than 32GB because of some external hardware limitation or something like that. Or this is just general knowledge what works best with LineageOS? In the first case I can think about case I can go and invest into a new card but in the second case I can just wait it out until codebase improves. It would good to know more so I can make better decisions.

I've got to push back on the apriori assumption that these are specifically Sandisk brand card issues without knowing the specific details of the issues and seeing actual logs, and also without knowing the history of the individual cards in question (details of every device it was connected to and how it was connected, what OS and what file management methods were used, and how full the card typically is, and how frequently it might be disconnected in the middle of a file operations, among other things).
We must be mindful of the fact that the majority of SD cards in circulation are Sandisk cards which means that the majority of reported problems will be on Sandisk cards but this does not mean that the Sandisk cards are experiencing proportionately more issues than other brands. I don't doubt individual experiences, but it they may not speak to a larger picture. For example: Having supported large systems (>300 devices) running Linux directly from SD cards I did not see more problems with Sandisk cards than others. We've not seen enough evidence here to declare that this this is a Sandisk problem.

The fact that a card has been used for a long time under different circumstances does not support a logical argument that the problem is in the ROM, in fact that supports the logical argument that the problem is with the card.

Good advise since, if the cards is having problems it should bring the problems to the other devices. Testing a different card in the first device on which the problem was noticed is also a good test.

Here is some supplemental information specific to Sandisk SD cards' built in data protection on cards experiencing failure. https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/micro-sd-write-access-format-exfat-t3358275. To summarize what is there: An SD card may begin to fail unknown to us, and then when the built in data protection is invoked it "breaks" the card with a dirty bit at beginning of drive so it cannot be written to or formatted but still allows us to copy data. The symoptoms when that data protection is invoked are similar to those bing reported by people who can no longer mount the card in Android devices (Android devices require read and write access to mount the card, unlike when the card is access via card reader on computer).

Just an update. I tried to format the card as portable storage (after this failure as internal and being burned I have hard time trusting it now) but it fails. I didn't do any testing with other phones just went straight for format. I might just buy another card. I think the phone specs say it's 32 GB max, is it still the case with different OS or not (meaning it was due to software not hardware) if I could get something higher than 32 (the current broken one is 32) I would go for it.

I believe after you use it as internal, and then try to use it as external, you first have to write an MBR on it and a partition formatted FAT32. i use a bootable stand-alone GPARTED to do that.

Moto says it's limit is 32GB. Folks have, I believe, used much bigger cards on it. Don't know what is the limiting factor - be it software (ROM) , hardware, or licensing (exfat for Microsoft). I have ordered a 64GB Sammy which I should get in 1/2 week so I can test. Course I wouldn't be doing exactly what you would be doing so the test would only show that the G3 could read/write to it. I will only use it as external storage. I don't really "need" 64GB but it will allow me to be a bit more sloppy vis a vis nandroid backups.
It could be that after you format yours, that it will suddenly work just fine. Then again I just had a thumb drive go belly-up from I/O errors - once in a great while, it happens.

I've got a 128gb in my Moto G (3rd - XT1540 2GB), and I have used the card for a long time. It works just fine for me, and the space is obviously fantastic to have. Every now and then (every few months or so, I'd say - maybe 3 times in the 18 months I've had it), it does become corrupted, though, and I get those same error messages. A backup, wipe/re-format, and restore, and I put it right back in my phone and it works just fine again. Seems like that's happened in other devices, though, too.
The card is a SanDisk Ultra SL128 (Class 10/UHS-1, man'd Jan 2016). I've only ever used it for external storage, never adopted, and I've only ever formatted the card as FAT32, using my PC. I'm running stock Android 6.0 24.24.1 at the moment, with TWRP.

Thanks - Becoming corrupted every 6 months seems excessive, but with heavy use...? So what do you use it for? Also it sounds like you are using something other than the phone to format it...?

That may not be drive corruption but rather a corrupted file or files. If it is localize drive corruption it may still be there without having any impact until some data is written to that part of the drive. Unlike platter based hard drives, when these drives actually start to fail they may invoke a built in data protection (dirty bit) which resembles being locked in read only mode preventing the drive from being formatted which is obviously not your case. Have you ever done a sector scan of the drive, eg chkdsk <driveletter> /f /r or done a full format (as opposed to quick format)? Either of those things may flush out localized damage and the scan might fix it but they would take a long time.

Yeah I guess it is kinda a small PITA lol. Could just be from me starting and cancelling or moving too many things at once, I don't know.
I've never actually come close to needing all that space to TBH. I could probably do just fine with a 64, but it's nice to know I could record or store hours of HD video, for example, if I need it. I got nearly 30 gigs of music on it. I keep tv and movies on there, too, in case I get caught bored somewhere. Full Nandroid and Titanium backups are on there, as well.
I use a microSD adapter and a small (76 kb) utility for Windows called FAT32Format (Ridgecorp).

I've had that problem before, too, but not on the 128 I have in my phone now. That is very frustrating. One of my 32 gb cards suddenly went into "read-only" mode as you describe, and nothing I can do will get it useable again. All the files are still readable from it (except the part of one huge video file that is on the bad sector that seems to have caused the problem).
So right, my 128 card doesn't have that problem, and seems to be corrupted files, as you say, not the drive itself. I do actually do what you talk about - when I do find I have to re-do the 128 sd card in my phone, I run a Windows chkdsk /r before I re-format it, and a chkdsk /f afterward, as a check. The chkdsk /r does take quite a while, yeah .. a few hours.

Great that you're running chkdsk on it. May be caused if you cancel or something happens in the middle of a move. Only other thing I could suggest is to do your format on the phone itself, after you've done everything else on the PC. Don't know if that would make a difference. Shouldn't but I've run across vy experienced folks saying to do that. But... Yeah you've got me hankering to put a 128GB on it...
edit: for read only cards before you trash them I would run them by gparted just to see if re-creating the MBR and partition would change its mind. I have successfully done that with thumb drives but not with cards/adapter/reader.

Yeah, thanks for reminding me about fixing the errors, IronTechmonkey. It's kinda an important step I forgot to mention.
I not sure I have the bad card still. I didn't think about GParted, should have. I tried Paragon, among other things, but to no avail.

What speeds are folks getting from a U3 SDE card? I bought what I thought was a 100/60MB/s card and it does about what my old PNY card did - R=40-50, W=34-40MB/s. Is the phone the limiting factor or did I get a bum card?

AFAIK the the phone hardware/OS is unlikely to meet the advertised speeds of the cards. Likewise and perhaps more so for USB 2.0 ports and anything using MTP.
I dont know how this compares but for what it is worth: With a Sandisk Utra SDHC (Class 10 - Video, Ultra High Speed Class 1 - whatever that jargon means) touting 80 MB/s read speeds and 40 MB/s* write speeds; the read speeds did consistently approach the rating (getting hot enough to scorch the logo) and the wite speed occasional did. Another factor is the size of files being copied, larger quantities of smaller files taking more time per MB, unless using some dedicated test utility I've never actually done a test of SD r/w speeds on the device. What are you using to measure those?
* In re write speed ratings: Digging into the small print of the specifications may reveal that the manufacturer uses different size cards each for the reed and write speed ratings, effectively padding the write speeds by citing test results from smaller capacity cards.

Yes, Windows 7, which reports file data transfer speeds in the copy process window so I did not use a utility. I've done this enough times in geneal, and a few times specifically with large files and a stopwatch, so I know the speed in the file copy window is relatively accurate (for single large files). The speeds you get on linux seem reasonable. I'll test A1 SD Bench on Osprey when I have a chance. Thanks.

Also seemingly reasonable.

My card seem to be working just fine on my Lineage OS. I rebooted by device and now it says it's corrupted. Is there any way out? Will I be able to get my data back?

My suggestion would be to copy whatever you can off it and re-format it asap. If you can't read it via phone, try PC.
EDIT: I am assuming you are using it as external. If you are using it as internal, I believe you have lost everything. I know of nothing that can read it. GPARTED can only re-add an MBR and a partition and make it usable again, but all data is lost.

Yeah. I copied everything and made a backup. Luckily I use it only as a storage device and not an internal drive for apps. But how do I re-format it? I tried using the format option that my phone gives me but to no avail.
