Can I root my Samsung Galaxy S6 G920F with Android 5.1.1?

I can't find a rooting tool that supports my device and Android version, is there none or am I just a bad searcher?
Thanks!
There are a lot of posts on how to do this in 5.1.1. Try searching for unikernel or Adam kernel. Flash either and you get root... They do trip knox.
Here's a method that doesn't but I haven't tried it

Rooting New S6

Hi all.
Just purchased an S6 128GB International Version SG-920I and was wondering if by rooting it would I lose any functionality except Samsung Pay (which is useless in Europe in at this time anyway).
Also can you guys help me with a rooting guide and what's the best recovery menu to go for on the S6?
The phone came with factory 5.1.1 so I guess PingPong root is out of the question is there an alternative to this?
Thanks.
Just rooted my G920i, used Odin and Root Kernels/ Unibase Kernel for Galaxy S6 on Android 5.1.1

I take it that triggers the knox fuse right?
Is there a way for 5.1.1 to root without blown Knox fuse?

Root Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930W8 Exynos)

Hello everyone,
I just got my new S7 from Telus and my goal now is:
Root the phone
Install a clean stock ROM (bloatware-free)
Now I've been reading a bit but I'm a little unsure whether I'm looking at the best solution out there, or even if I'm on the right track.
These are the 2 options that I'm leaning towards following:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/development/recovery-official-twrp-herolte-t3333770
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/development/sm-g930-exynos-cf-auto-root-t3337353
Can you tell me if the TWRP route is the best to follow?
Also, I can't seem to find a Stock ROM, can you point me to the right one for my phone? (Sorry, my searching and Googling skills needs an upgrade.)
Installing twrp wipes the phone, so you lose everything. If you install cfroot first on the other hand, you can backup your stuff with titanium backup and other apps and then install twrp and restore your apps at the end.

I'm ok with the wipe as I just got the phone today so I have nothing important there.
So would you suggest that I use TWRP over cfroot?
--Also, do you know where the right stock ROM is? I still can't find one.-- Oops, sorry I thought the link you have was part of your signature. I got my ROM now, taking a long time to download though. Haha.
Is there another download location I can use? I messed up the slow download and now I have to wait a long time just to start over with the slow download.
TWRP install does not wipe the phone. If you want to use TWRP to backup/restore data you have to format data (which does wipe the phone), because TWRP does not support the samsung encryption yet (no timeframe for this).
You could still use TWRP to install stuff on /system.
I would go cfroot and flashfire.
quick question here: I've got 930w8 from Bell (Canadian version). on https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ I Cannot see CF-auto-root root for W8 version.
Is it safe to guess that auto-root for 930f (exynos) will do the trick?

You can use Cf Auto root for G930F, is working
Hello!
Just wondering if this CF Root will work to root my device still?
It's April 4, 2017, so this thread is really old.
I've gathered that I can use CF-Auto Root G930F and have that downloaded..
I got my phone from Virgin and live in Canada
It's a Samsung Galaxy S7
Model Number : SM-G930W8 (LU2BQB6)
Android Version : 7.0
I'm trying to spoof Pokemon GO haha, and apparently I need to move some apps to a system folder or something.
First thing first though, figure out how to root.
Quite frankly, I'd be willing to send someone a couple bucks via paypal for any assistance at all.
I can tell you that cf autoroot for international model works on android 6.0.1, not sure if will do the job on android 7
S7 android 7.0 root

New Rom for my S7

Hey Guys,
i'm owning an Galaxy S7 (G930F) and it's have a Vodafone Brand(Germany), (boot logo and some apps from Vodafone).
I'm really pissed of the update schedule from Samsung, and want a root to, so i decided to install a custom Rom.
But my latest custom rom phone was some years ago ( old Samsung GT 8150 Galaxy W) I think since it have changed many
I want a ROM that have an auto updater, i had that on the old GT 8150, when an update was ready, it was a easy way to install.
Its possible that knox will not be triggered?
Which Version of Rom can i install? I had some issues with my 8150, when i started testing some ROMs, some Roms had the boot bug, and then i tried to install the Stock ROM, but then was no able to boot.
On this time this Infos says me S7.
Android 7.0
Basicbandversion: G930FXXU1DQH6
Build: NRD90M.G930FXXu1DQH6
Knox 2.7.1
Android Patch
1 of August
Sorry for that bad english,
Thanks and regards,
Daniel
Custom ROMs require unlocking the bootloader, which triggers knox.
is there a simple way to get root on my S7 then?

Downgrade Oreo to Nougat and root

Hi all,
im coming from S5 where everything was easy. Now on my used S8+, Oero was allready installed. After Oreo doesnt seems to be very popular and i havent found a way to root it without a custom kernel and im quite uncertainty on that, im wondering if I can just downgrade to Nougat and root it afterwards with TWRP & CF-Auto-Root.
Downgrading doesnt seems to be a problem, but do i have to consider anything before I go that way?
Got the G955F with Exynos.
Thanks
Mithandir
