Tried most of them still no luck. How can I identify if this is hardware or battery issue?
Sent from my Q10 using Tapatalk

I have also observed that battery is being drained even when not in use

Reset battery stats.. by doing completing recharge cycle one to two times and delete battery statsbin file in root of the device. Try Es file explorer and then search for battery stats bin file by typing same in search box provided in explorer. It will reset the battery ststistics.... hope it helps

Thanks for your inputs
I will try these options and let u know

I don't do nothing of the above, all I did is turn off app power saving cuz it's buggy and I had drains in sleep like 20% and after turning that off 4~10.. Try that too

well, depends on what apps you freeze,it really help in saving battery in standby time, besides freezing and remove apps,'' greenify'' is nt bad,it help u freeze active apps but once u use ur apps,it unfreeze ur apps again, saving alot of battery.
my phone 's battery only consume 1% though out all night. Of course,u have to root first to get the advantage.ps: (i never use power saving mode, and display always set to automatic)

My phone consumes about 12% overnight (using 1 of 3 power saving modes) which is terrible! I will wait for Cyanogen or other Custom rom , until then i think it is not worth to have root without changing of rom. If you want please give me some advices to increase battery life (without root if it possible)

i don't know other ways to conserve battery without using root,i thk the basic(off wifi,2g,etc) u already know. just keep the background activity to the minimum. don't waste time on task killer or 3rd party battery saver, they are useless and consume more battery(in my experience)
Get the app BetterBatteryStats. Run it for a day, use your phone like you usually would. Next day, look at the stats the app gives you.
Also, read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1827676
I, too, had a mysterious battery drain problem and tried for days to pinpoint the culprit. Turned out to be the sd card. I reformatted the card and the drain was gone.

Best way to save battery drain is to be rooted dude.
Install cpu-no frills (or set cpu) and select maximun spped to 1,2 and minimum speed at 312Mhz in ondemand and cfg.
Choose your network mode at 2G
Brithness at minimum or a half an it's for sure that your phone will be 2 days longer

battery drained 30 percent overnight? normal?

Hello, my battery was at 60 percent last night and this morning it is now at 30. I went in and looked at the battery data and Google plus was at the top of the list at 33 percent. Suggestions?
It's not normal, turn off location when you're not using it.
Uninstall it

No need to list all your apps when you know Google+ is the culprit
There is an option within settings to sync photos over Wi-Fi only and while on charge, much more efficient unless you really need to backup all the time
Additionally for general gains, you could use another app to turn off data/Wi-Fi or toggle airplane mode overnight, unless you need it syncing while you sleep

Google+ isn't syncing photos because all of my photos are synced.
It was probably syncing something overnight though right? Worth having charging setting anyway
Ironic that an official Google app will have
e such a high wakelock...
Perhaps try something like greenify?

No because I flashed back to stock a couple days ago to reapply mods and haven't taken any pictures yet.. I have greenify so i'll watch my battery level and then use greenify if I need to. Still weird though. I also totally shut off location now (was on battery saving) so I'll see what happens overnight this time.
install wake lock detector thank me later

usual stuff:
hotword detectionn/off?
wifi scanning even when its offn/off?
rogue app?
higher up you can
install a wakelock detector and check which apps does the "batman"
would have been helpful if you had at least attached the screenshot of the battery stats.
Best hope: Install a wake-lock detector. Check for app.

Google+ will sometimes cause small wakelocks on my phone overnight as well. Although, it doesn't appear as bad as yours. If it doesn't "sync" overnight, I only lose 1-2% that night. If it does sync, it shows that it kept the phone awake for about 10min. But even then, I'll only lose about 5-7% that night (definitely not 33%). I, too, have it back up my pictures over WiFi. This wakelock is random. Sometimes it happens during the day, and sometimes at night. I doesn't really seem to correlate with me taking pictures that day or not.

It's only draining when you're at a home screen so while it's not consistent it will decrease SoT slightly. It only saves you from making 1 screen tap on the mic icon so the trade off is questionable.

Is it set to only sync when plugged in and on Wifi?
This time it went from 89 to 49, probably because in the morning I started getting notifications. Anyways Google plus is no longer on the battery list. Attached are screenshots of anything I think might be useful.
Press on 1013, does it give more information?

Bad Battery Drain -- What could culprit be?

So I am noticing some really bad battery drain from the process alarm_wakeup_locator. Not sure what apps are associated with it or what but I really want to narrow down the culprit! I have attached some screenshots from BBB and also the AlarmManager.txt file which I retrieved using the command "dumpsys alarm > AlarmManager.txt" from terminal emulator. If anyone sees anything out of the ordinary or knows what app or whatever is causing this please let me know! Thanks!

I have google location services off and GPS on battery saver mode.
I mean to be honest, 3% per hour is not that bad. Turn off location reporting in google now, and it looks like your wifi is responsible for the rest of the wakelocks i.e., dont keep it on. I really, REALLY, don't understand why android has to have this retarded battery draining wakelock.

Ehh...3%/hour actually isn't bad, but it's also not good, if you're not using the device for anything during that time.
Yeah I'm sleeping the phone isn't doing anything...I thought leaving WiFi on was much better than having it on data
Mine was having the same problem since then I've disabled and reenabled the Google location after uninstalling and reinstalling the Google services and some of the Google applications and right now it seems like I have no more of the battery drain problem plus I used the root exploit and xposed on top of titanium backup and I froze a lot of the Verizon bloatware and a few of the Google Apps that came stock on the phone and since then I've not had a problem

I get about .7% per hour I turn off data and autosync with tasker at night. Don't leave either one on, wifi has wake lock issues and you will kill your battery faster. Use wifi when you need it only, because lte/3g has fast dormancy.

Is that new? Keeping wifi on used to SAVE battery.
Saves battery sometimes when you are using data not when your phone is supposed to be in deep sleep

Tap and show the info about Android OS battery usage. Usually if keeping the phone awake can be solved by rebooting the phone.

Without root and a lot of advanced tweaking there is only one simple thing you can do - turn off WiFi and Mobile Data before you go to sleep. Eventually as an even bigger step you can also go to Airplane Mode but obviously you will not be able to take any phone call. See what battery drain you get under those conditions.
Thank you! Thought I had to unroot my phone. Already tried rebooting but did mot work but O tried factory reseting my phone and solved the problem.
Try my battery saving thread here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2579075

1st picture
i think dropbox is eating up your battery
2nd picture
your mobile network signal is weak, this could be the culprit
3rd picture
same as above
post some wakelocks. Otherwise this is useless.
The 1st picture it's obviously dropbox. In the other two, who knows. without wakelock stats this thread is useless
Worth rooting...
If you root go for :
- Wakelock Detector (find out exactly what caused the drain: screen / cpu)
- Greenify (hibernate apps regularly)
- ROM Toolbox Pro (disable startup and other related intents)
Since I did (I stayed on stock) : I don't have to worry about charging during the day + all lag is gone (even with 500 apps and >100 more frozen).
wakelock detector works just fine without root greenify partially
Turn off the wifi

My iball 6318i battery is draining so fast .. tried lots of apps but same :(

hello guys this is my first post in xda
i have owned a i ball 6318i android tablet
it's battery draining too fast !!!!
i also reset my tablet 5 times but no luck
my tablet is rooted also
i tried lots of apps to save my battery like 'Deep Sleep Battery Saver" ' Greenify' 'One Power Guard' 'Du Power Saver' etc etc...
so anyone can help me to save my battery
just go in application manager and disable the apps which you never use.
in developer option at last you will fing backgroung apps. set it to 2 and in developer option close any animations also.
do not leave syncronisation otion onn aa it drains a lot off battery.
turn background data off. its found in data service option.
prefer using mute mode insted of viberation.
donot close apps by clicking home button. as it will run in backgroumd. properly close apps.
after doing this all you should have atleaat 1:30 hours of your battery increased.
peace
