Can anyone help me get Nokia Photo Transfer for Mac App? Microsoft have blocked it. - Nokia Lumia 1020

I need nokiaphototransfer.dmg (Nokia Photo Transfer for Mac App)
All the Microsoft links to download it have been taken down by Microsoft. They won't say why. They still recommend it on on many Microsoft webpages but the download links are all broken. They own the app and it's their recommended app, for linking to Mac computers, in the Microsoft User Manual for my Microsoft Lumia 1020 ( the User Manual they published in July 2016 ).
Please, if you have the app, would you put it on a fileshare site and post a link.

OutSync - Facebook profile pics for Outlook contacts

I found this amazing application
The following text is taken from it's web site.
http://www.melsam.com/outsync/default.aspx
OutSync is a free Windows application that syncs photos of your Facebook friends with matching contacts in Microsoft Outlook. It allows you to select which contacts are updated. So you can update all contacts at once or just a few at a time.
The main benefit of OutSync is for Windows Mobile users. Updated contacts are automatically synced with Windows Mobile devices by Exchange server or ActiveSync. Thus new and fun photos appear during calls and other places where contacts are used.
OutSync is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and Server 2003. It requires Outlook 2003 or 2007.
Sorry for reviving this post, guys. But Skydrive is being a damn cow at the moment, i can't login nor do a thing on it since three days. Can please someone post a mirror link to that app here, or online at a fileshare site?
[deleted post]
Please.
I am merely asking for a mirror of the file. Why? because I can't download from Skydrive (and the file, outsync.msi is only on skydrive) for a reason unknown. I'm very sorry if I wasn't clear enough.
So if anyone with the file in their computer could please upload that file anywhere else than skydrive, please help me out.
Your message wasn't clear enough.
I attached the file for you
Thanks a lot!
It's good to have people like you around here.
It doesn't work for me.
It closes everytime I try to open it and starts the windows error report.
Any idea?

Windows Live Messenger 2009 MPOP

I downloaded the new WLM beta for my PC, mainly because I liked the sound of the MPOP (multiple points of presence) feature, allowing me to sign into my Windows Mobile device at the same time as my PC (i.e. it doesnt sign out of the PC, and i get the messages on both).
This would mean, I could use WLM on the PC, step away with my phone, answer some IMs, and come back to the PC without signing in and out, and losing track of a conversation, as well as my chat logs being complete.
Or so i thought, as signing into my mobile device still signs me out of WLM 2009 on the pc. Apparently both devices need to support MPOP.
According to WLM 2009 support page "If you sign in to a version of Messenger that doesn't support the multiple sign-in feature, you will automatically be signed out from the other devices."
But it also says "For example, if you're already signed in to Messenger on a computer, you can sign in on a mobile device or on another computer without having to sign out on the first computer"
So why do they say mobile device? Where do I get a version for my mobile device that supports this? Is my WLM mobile out of date?
Thanks
It´s the same for me, I don´t know if there is a version for Mobile devices that support this ultiple places
Hope someone can give us a clue
I hope Messenger for WinMo is updates soon to take advantage of this feature
>>"But it also says "For example, if you're already signed in to Messenger on a computer, you can sign in on a mobile device or on another computer without having to sign out on the first computer""
So, it basically says that you don`t have to sign out from computer (if you`re signed in) when you want to signing in from ppc. It doesn`t say anything about MPOP :/ Just that signing in is possible even if you are signed in on another computer when you sign in with ppc. lul, complicated. I hope wlm on winmo gets updated soon.
Yes, Microsoft will be releasing a new WL Messenger for Mobiles in next year... It will happen, just give it time as they need everything else in place first.
Hopefully the new WLM doesn't get treated like the new Pocket Internet Explorer (new WM6.5 ROMs only).
I sign into WLM on my mobile fine now without it signing out on my computer?
According to Paul Thurrott's site about windows:
The native Windows Live Messenger client on Windows Mobile supports the new Multiple Points of Presence (MPOP) functionality that allows you to be signed in to Messenger from multiple PCs, mobile devices, and Web sites.

Since i don't remember if it's possible to link other sites, just google the statement to find the full article (part 4).
I'm wondering which version he has of WLM... i'm really thinking of sending him a message to ask clarifications.
I have a version of WLM that is newer than the one posted in the big WLM thread on here. And I get signed out of WLM on the PC. I'd love to know what version he has, or why he said that.
The version of Windows Live messenger I am using is 10.6.0034.0800
On my desktop, I use the Windows Live messenger beta (can't tell you the number as I am not at home).
Signing into one does not sign me out of the other....

Wow r u kiddin? trying gettin 34.800 somewhere to check it out.
EDIT:
Installed 34.800. No way. Signs me out. Using latest RC on pc.
What I'm reading here is that you guys have logged in to Live on your PC with the new 2009 client and you can STILL log in on your mobiles - is that right? All I'm getting after having logged in once to the new client on my PC is the "problem with the server" message on my phone. I change the account back to an old one that has never logged in to the new PC client and I'm OK.
Is there a workaround or particular version that is working now on the phone?
Thanks
The only version of the desktop Windows Live Messenger that supports MPOP is the version that downloads to the Windows 7 beta. Version 16.something IIRC

Not true.. WL Messenger 2009 (version 14.0.x) does support MPOP.
The problems come with WL for Windows Mobile, which seems not to support MPOP Signing at all. It disconnects from everywhere when sign in on the phone.
EDIT: AFAIK there's no 16.x version specific for windows 7.
I have asked to Paul Thurott about WLM for mobile supporting MPOP and he has told me that new mobile phone will get the WLM with MPOP support.. but there will be nothing for old phones. We should find a cab of a version supporting MPOP.
It's the same about WebMessenger... which does not support MPOP .. but the new Windows Live WebMessenger should comes out soon !
i am sure a CAB version will appear shortly after relase. one good thing with so many carriers using winmo is that one is bound to leak it.
they also need to update Xbox NXE to support MPOP too

Sharepoint Mobile

Hello, I'm going to be posting this on several different message boards because I'm not really sure who will be able to help. If anyone has any suggestions as to other websites I can post this question on, please feel free to suggest. The other couple that I'm going to post to first is tech-forums (dot) net and msfn (dot) org
I am having problems connecting Sharepoint workspace mobile to my Sharepoint 2010 server. I have winmo 6.5 pro and the sharepoint app is running. I have an unlimited data plan, and I have tested this where my data works fine. I have tested this inside my network and outside also using wifi.
I have one standalone Sharepoint 2010 Enterprise server installed. The server is working. I can get to the website using a web browser and it is running off of port 80. I can browse to the site from outside my firewall as well as inside with no problems. So I know that Sharepoint, in and of itself, is working.
I have tried two other phones running winmo 6.5 with data plans, and office 2010 mobile and am getting the same error.
Basically, I open sharepoint mobile 2010, go to the address sharepoint.domain.com (just an example) and I get the error: "Cannot connect. Sharepoint mobile doesn't support the authentication scheme that this server requires. Do you want to open this in your web browser?"
If I click yes, it does open the sharepoint site in IE.
All I really want is to be able to sync docs between a doc library and my phone, and my PC using workspace.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
TIA
Under the web server that you have authentication methods, I am guessing you have integrated windows auth or something like that set , and to use it with winmo it needs to be set to basic.
Now it has been a while since I set one up , but I think that is your problem ..
You will have to make sure that the main and all subwebs get changed to match the same authentication ...
One thing I have done in the past if you need integrated for your intranet, is to clone the sharepoint site, and run a second one for mobile users, just make sure you are using the same data stores .....
Moved as not software release.

Windows Mobile 7 and MS Office mobile

I'm planning to buy a XDA a device ... and there is an helluva much more questions then answers.
Does Windows Mobile 7 includes a full Office Mobile?
Some phones reviews state that Office is included, like it may be not there, while MS states its part of Windows Mobile 7. And I understand it's free with Windows Mobile 7 phone? If not present in all Windows Mobile 7 phones, is it possible to download and install MS Office mobile legally?
yes Office 2010 is included in WP7.. OneNote is now actually usable & syncs with the Skydrive cloud not via the flaky WMDC..
Yep but the only issue I found using this Office 2010 is that we can't store documents directly on the phone, need a cloud account. Which is quick disappointing.
You cant store any of them on the phone? Thats past disappointing, that is criminal.
So why does the microsoft website talk about saving word, excel docs to the phone? You can't trans by usb anymore, either have to email it to yourself or upload from pc to skydrive and then to phone.
Windows Phone 7 has Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and OneNote) built in. You can store files on the device, but you have to get it to your device either through e-mail or by using an online file storage service (like SkyDrive) that is accessible from your phone. There is no dragging and dropping files onto your phone from your computer, in other words (at least not yet).
Once you open the document you emailed to yourself, or downloaded through the browser, they remain on the phone for future use. If you create a new document, that is also automatically saved onto the phone, and you can always e-mail your document to yourself later to get access to it elsewhere.
use a dropbox client to share docs... works fine for me
