First downgrade to B211. There is a guide that shows how to downgrade from EMUI 4.1 to 4.0. You can find the guide here. Once you've successfully downgraded to B211, B563 OTA should appear on your set in couple of days. I received mine immediately after downgrading to 211.

Well whatever I did messed it all up, now it just sits on the EMUI screen asking to reboot or wipe... then somehow i managed to get to Huawei eRecovery and it says "getting package info failed" so it looks like i ruined the phone... any ideas on fixing this?

What if I'm on b180?

Just upgrade to 211. A simple dload should do it.

How do I get it? Been trying to do it through firmware finder with no luck.

Well now that my phone only goes to fastboot, my issue is that the drivers won't install properly. I installed HiSuite, and when I go into Fastboot, it tries to install drivers and gives me: Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)... Sometimes the Android Bootloader Interface pops up in Device Manager with a ! Does anyone have the right drivers for a Mate 8? Maybe I can manually install them?

Finally got downgraded to 211. Now I just wait for the update naturally?

It should have the option regardless. It's just a matter if running the fastboot command will unlock it.
i did all process with fastboot command with no luck

Galaxy S6 SM-G920F Marshmallow update failed.

My phone is a Galaxy S6 SM-G920F, I've just checked and noticed that there's a 6.0.1 update available for my phone. After downloading the update, there's a weird pop-up message saying: "Unable to install update. The downloaded file is invalid. Try again later." Are there any way I can fix this? Or do I have to update manually. Thank you!
P.S: My phone isn't rooted or modified in any way.
Try to download it again, reboot your phone and try again, I don't know maybe it will help

Try using Samsung Smart Switch on the PC. Worked for when I got the same error using OTA update method.
Is this a good guide to Update Galaxy S6 on marshmallow??
I have Samsung Galaxy S6 G925F and I want to update it on Marshmallow. I found the guide but little confused. Somebody helps me to guide about this.

If you failed the process then you must restart your phone. But if still failed then repeat the process again.

Learn to use Odin. Download your specific firmware from [email protected] (On the download page) there's even a Youtube vid guiding you through the process of flashing your phone correctly.
As simple as that really! Screw OTA updates if you get errors - I never update using OTA. Hope this helps
Solution to Marshallow Offical OTA download problem.
I initally tried to update my Samsung S6 using the OTA update but after download got this error messege " invalid download file". I then downloaded Smart Switch from the Samsung website. I connected my phone to the PC and lauched Smart Switch. It notified me there was an update and I followed the instructions. At the end my phone reboot and I now have Marshallow 6.01 pn my Samsung S6. Please note my phone is locked to Virgin Mobile UK and is not rooted.

Didn't understand well what you can and cannot do, anyway i suggest you to rely on dload method. The NAG screen it's a consequence of the unlocked bootloader, it surely doesn't look nice but it's something that you don't have to worry about

Try these files via dload method. Dload method wuickly explained here-
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73954487&postcount=240
Main file- http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1279/g104/v84689/f2/full/update.zip
it should resolve your issue, if not flash this as well

all flashes of stock firmware for me fail with sw rev check fail fused 3 binary 1. the phone updated once out of the box and activated. so the older image won't reflash due to the updated security policy.
Uploading QI2 update now. Give it a bit...big file.

Samsung Kies
Normally, you should just be able to put it into download mode and use Samsung Kies 3 to restore.
Once you have the Phone in download mode and Kies 3 installed, Launch Kies and then go to Tools>Emergency Firmware Recovery and you should be good to go...
It'll probably be the QJ3 Update though, I don't have Boost.
That's my 2 cents on getting the latest official firmware.

That is a suspicious update. Small updates claiming to be 'Security' updates that include a revision change to the bootloader often turn out to be locked bootloaders with no way back.
I'd be wary.
Maybe a little more info on the state of the non booting device?
I am assuming that Samsung Kies did not work?

Negative - z3x team.
It might not be the newest, but it should work on the current bootloader, despite the security update patch and then you can update via OTA.
Try this: https://mega.nz/#!1bBXka6S!d9yPvpy7kg4D1PUcGDMDSMGljryB7xcAFWuz9udtQCA
You'll need Odin to flash it though.
It usually would. Only major versions of Android affect the boot loader I believe...

this was the magic one. QJ3 is the update that stops from downgrading the bootloader, seemingly also the newest (you'll have to confirm this for me) from boost, as when i got the new one this file here is what it wanted to update to as in the screenshot(i let it) it's still flashable with twp and rootable, **** yeah! so let me toss you something for your troubles.
UPDATE: flashed fine. wifi works now. **** yeah.
i'll gladly host this elesewhere as well, ( i have 5 servers i do nothing with, why not... (now to learn to make roms)

Well, the sideload worked, but not without a data problem. I couldn't boot until I did a factory reset. After that, it booted up and it seems that Beta 3 installed fine. I've reinstalled all my apps and re-rooted with Magisk. All seems good now.
I have seen others reporting no issues with the sideload though. I did flash the stock boot image to unroot before I tried the sideload though. Not sure if that messed it up. I'd say just back up your data and go for it.
