Hi guys,
Is there a way to disable the flashing orange low battery notification? It's actually quite annoying .
Thank you.
The best you can do is to ask it not to explicitly notify you when the battery is critically low through the Power option in the Settings, at which point, the LED starts blinking only below 10%.
I don't think you can do much better without flashing a ROM.
Hi experts,
I am facing following 2 battery issues. Any sort of solution will be thankful
1. Battery Calibration error reoccurs on RESTART : Even after Calibrating my battery as per ther procedure discussed many times before here on XDA, i observe that Callibration error reoccurs on every restart of my phone A110.
For example: Current battery level is 60% , on RESTART it jumps to some other random value say 40% or 75%. Tried numerous ROM's but this issue is still faced. As a result, phone assumes wrong stats and turns off even though there is some power left out in the battery. Any exact solution..?
2. Charging time : A110 being 2000mah takes minimum 3hrs to full charge from 0% to 100% connected via Wall Charger. Any solution to improve Charging speed..?
Hi
I have flashed my phone a couple of times and have some how messed up my battery stats.
I'm running CM12 Official nightly and the 5.0 alpha modem.
When i reach about 13 % the phone just turns off to black screen, so no graceful shutdown from low battery.
When i connect the charger, the low battery warning comes up and the after i few seconds it goes to the small battery with percent in it. It says 15% right when it comes up.
When in the small green battery with percent state, is the ROM responsible for showing that screen or is it the modem/bootloader?
How do i reset the battery stats, so that it shows the correct percentage left?
I found this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&hl=en
Will that fix my problem?
Thanks
I'd say try running the app you linked to, it looks as though your low flag has become a bit wonky, the app will hopefully fix it.

- Second issue is, the battery doesn't get charged (( sometimes )), it will stay at 10% charging or sometimes 6% charging for hours !! I have to replug the charger or sometimes I have to restart the phone to continue charging !

http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2513701. After flashing factory images, if you don't see the full 32GB storage you should be seeing, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/info-storage-nexus-5-data-info-loss-t2534010, section 13.
About battery status/behaviour, it might be battery hw failure or just miscalibration. I'd be extra careful flashing stuff to a device that has abnormal behaviour when it comes to battery.
Thanks for your reply, at the moment everything is working fine, will proceed to flashing stuff if it occurs again, btw will factory reset help ?
Hi, I have recently noticed that my cellphone battery life indicator on my smartwatch only updates whenever I push data from the cellphone. Otherwise it remains static. Anyone else has the same problem?
