Hello xda !
I have Nexus Black 32GB stock Android 5.1, I am facing these issues at the moment
- The ringtone keeps ringing if i fail to pick up the phone, it gives me the notification of missed call but in the background the ringtone keeps on ringing, I have to switch off my phone to make it quiet, killing process or playing music player doesn't help [Happened only two times]
- Second issue is, the battery doesn't get charged (( sometimes )), it will stay at 10% charging or sometimes 6% charging for hours !! I have to replug the charger or sometimes I have to restart the phone to continue charging !
Any help or tips would be great !!
Thanks for reading !

http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2513701. After flashing factory images, if you don't see the full 32GB storage you should be seeing, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/info-storage-nexus-5-data-info-loss-t2534010, section 13.
About battery status/behaviour, it might be battery hw failure or just miscalibration. I'd be extra careful flashing stuff to a device that has abnormal behaviour when it comes to battery.
Thanks for your reply, at the moment everything is working fine, will proceed to flashing stuff if it occurs again, btw will factory reset help ?

what would you call a device with superb hardware and unstable OS ....
i call it PIECE OF ****, because its of no use. Even your hardware is useless when there is no software to use it.
Lets list the issues faced on this device...
1. HEATS UP :
NO MATTER IF YOU ARE PLAYING A GAME OR WATCHING A VIDEO OR ITS JUST KEPT IDLE WHILE CHARGING THE PHONE HEATS UP, IT GETS HOT EVEN WHEN YOU ARE DOING THE MOST BASIC FUNCTION OF A PHONE... YEA THATS CORRECT IT HEATS WHEN YOU ARE CALLING TOO....
2. STOPS RESPONDING
VARIOUS APPS STOPS RESPONDING
3. NEED YOUR PHONE TO MAKE AN URGENT CALL ... YOU WONT GET IT
THE PHONE WONT WAKE UP TILL APPROXIMATELY 8-10 SECONDS WHEN YOU PRESS THE POWER BUTTON TO TURN THE SCREEN ON.
EVEN THE ALTERNATIVE I.E. DOUBLE TAP TO TO TURN ON DOES THE SAME THING.
4. DONT THINK YOU CAN ATTEND THE INCOMING CALLS EASILY
THE SCREEN WONT TURN ON AGAIN FOR THE FIRST 10-15 SECONDS
5. DONT RELY ON ADAPTIVE BRIGHTNESS
IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME TO RESPOND TO LIGHT... PLUS ZERO BRIGHTNESS IS AS GOOD AS SCREEN TURNED OFF WHICH IS NOT THE CASE IN OTHER MOBILES
ALL IN ALL YOU CANT USE THIS DEVICE AS YOUR PRIMARY PHONE BECAUSE OF THE ISSUES
Flash cm12.1 nightilies android 5.1.1
Am using this build for 2weeks not facing these issues till.. And one more thing nightilies provides daily updates, update through cyanDelta it's good
Hi guys! I've been noticing something strange after the last update I've got. I received an update of 240mb approximately and after that update my phone doesn't give me the full charge notification like it used to earlier. Only the LED turns green but no beep sound or notification screen turning on does this happen to anyone? And is there any settings that has to be turned on for this to work? Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Go to recovery mode and wipe cache.
Does your phone give you a beep sound in wired charger? i tried formatting the phone too! doesn't work.
No sound either, not even a screen flash. The LED just magically turns green. I hope it gets at least a screen on notification to avoid overcharging.
Dears,
i have HTC one E9+ and purchased 6-7 before from online and did not notice that device does not have warranty.
Now its started shutting down and when restart then battery goes to 1% or some time decreased 30-40% of the battery and its happen only when i start using the devise like youtube, skype or whatsapp etc but while on idle status dont face any issue.
I even did the factory reset but no improvement and then i thought could be a battery issue and then contacted HTC and they said perform below tasks and if battery above than 75% then not a battery issue.
Now i dont know what should i do to resolve this issue.
can anyone put his/her experience to fix this issue.
1 - charge the device until the LED turns green <br/>2 - turn on air plan mode
3- Go to settings > display > increase the screen time out to one hour and increase the brightness to 100%
4-then restart the device
5- Unplug it and leave it for one hour
if the battery level below 75% that is mean the battery need to be changed

Recently updated to this build. So far having to Major issues. 1 I keep getting boxes flash up on the screen( from the first 30 seconds of power up after update) seem to be notifications " amazon shopping has stopped" and other apps. Issue 2. This is my worst. The low battery notification SOUND has changed to my text alert tone, So far I have found NO way to change this. Anyone outthere thats had these issues or anyone that can help???? Yes I have tried pc companion.
Also looking for a way to change the low battery percentage notification. Its goes at 30%, 20%, 15%, 10% then 5%. I would prefer if it only went on at 15% or below.
