Hi, I have recently noticed that my cellphone battery life indicator on my smartwatch only updates whenever I push data from the cellphone. Otherwise it remains static. Anyone else has the same problem?

I welcome. I have the very untypical problem.
It all started with it around the phone started showing that the battery is unloaded, in spite of it around was loaded up. I thought cool it apparently a battery fell down. I bought new and unfortunately the same. Since the battery almost on max is loaded up the rally is loading it for moments and then loading is turning off. However an indicator of loading up on the nought and an announcement of the weak battery are demonstrating the system and it is disconnecting. I thought ok I will make hard reset and most probably he will help, however it turned out around not. Yeah rally loaded WM6 together with new ROM and unfortunately the same old story. I will still add around after this moment when is loading and an orange diode is shining and the indicator is showing the battery around loading is when he is finishing an indicator is appearing around empty battery and with stamp 'x'.
I hope around somebody here will help me. And perhaps somebody knows where in the register it is possible to change placing so that the system doesn't download details about loading the battery up and he wasn't mutually exclusive
Say what?
Can you please ask someone to translate so we can at least understand what your problem is?
ok I write it with my words.
When I switch on my phone battery indicator in main screen shows zero and sign '!' and the telephone switch off itself.
When I put usb cable or telephone battery charger and switch on my phone the phone charging about 10-20 seconds and after that battery indicator shows empty battery and sign 'x'. The phone still work but the indicator in Settings/Power Managment/Main Battery is completely empty.
I have new battery so battery is ok. I made hard reset and changed software from wm5 to wm 6.1 and the battery still isn't charging.
I hope that it is undertanding now.
Has the battery indicator ever worked while you've owned the phone, or is this something that has happened since upgrading your ROM? Having said that, this sounds more like a hardware issue to me. Try taking the battery out and cleaning the pins on the phone. If you've tried different ROM's, I don't believe it's a software issue and after a quick search of the forum, I haven't found anybody with a similar issue, which I would expect to if it were software related
The battery indicator worked normally and one day it stopped working. I upgraded ROM becouse i thought that it help.
I have second question. Whether it is possible to change the register this way so that the starting system doesn't read the level of battery charge out.
I have the same problem. Did you solve it?
Hi guys,
Is there a way to disable the flashing orange low battery notification? It's actually quite annoying .
Thank you.
The best you can do is to ask it not to explicitly notify you when the battery is critically low through the Power option in the Settings, at which point, the LED starts blinking only below 10%.
I don't think you can do much better without flashing a ROM.
Hi guys,
I have a vodafone 858 (android 2.2) phone. Its battery usage screen isn't giving proper information of power consumption. It shows only these items all the time, like this >
android system 96%
cell standby 4%
phone idle 2%
It has never shown the power consumption of other things. such as display, camera etc.
How can I solve this ?
its normal. It shows you what has been using the battery more and not what is draining it.If you want rhe camera and other stuff to show up just use them and you gonna see that they will appear
@ [email protected] no dude, Its not showing when I used camera. other thing is the display, that is one of the most battery drain things of a phone, but I have never seen battery usage of the screen in battery usage screen.
Also I'm using twitter, facebook and browser all the time, but the damn battery usage screen has never shown them.
damn it..Maybe the usage indicator is non-functional.Try downloading spare parts or betterbatterystats. If you wanna reduce the screen battery drain turn off animations, the screen sensor, haptic feedback and lower brightness
can anyone help me how to fix this problem of mine in my HD7? I've been searching all this time but all i see is for HD2 battery tweaks thread..anyone?
A) Define "poor" battery life. Smartphones typically get half a day to three days, depending on usage and network quality. My HD7 typically gets about 16-40 hours, depending on whether I use it a bit more or less than normal. I leave it on the charger every night and never run out of battery now unless I'm playing games on it.
B) There are lots of things you can do. Turn off push email, and instead check only every few minutes. The HD7's screen may actually get a slightly better battery life on the "Light" theme (the backlight runs anyhow; darkening a pixel takes more power). Set the phone to turn off the screen earlier. Dim the backlight. Turn down the volume (especially if you listen to music).
C) There's a setting (added in Mango) called "Battery Saver" that does some of the changes mentioned above (some quite aggressively - for example, it turns off all automatic email sync). You could use it, or at least tell the phone to use it automatically.
D) Change your usage pattern. Games, GPS, and cellular data are all huge power hogs. Play fewer games (or only play them when plugged in, or play ones without lots of graphical effects, etc.). Don't leave GPS apps running; check them then back out. Don't stream music (although I do, through Zune Pass, and still get decent battery life for a smartphone), movies, etc.
E) Switch the data mode to 2G instead of 3G, at least most of the time. 3G is power-hungry, and often harder to get a signal through so the phone hs to use even more power. Turn WiFi on (yes, on, not off; it's more efficient than the cellular radio when transferring data) unless you have no usable WiFi nearby, in which case turn it off. WiFi automatically turns off when the phone's screen locks, so no need to worry about it using power constantly at idle.
you're absolutely correct! I've done all those steps..if i will define poor battery I'll say it easily drains. I only use my device for SMS and battery drops 5-10% in 1hr? sometimes when I'm charging it whole night and when i woke-up i see the light indicator that it is full charge but the battery indicator is not (86%) i don't know if my battery is defect or there's something wrong my battery calibration or indicator..this suck!
If the light was green (fully charged) but the indicator showed partial charge (I assume you're using something built-in, not the app? The app isn't totally reliable due to multitasking limitations), then you've got a defect. It's possible that it's in software, but much more likely to be in hardware - either the charging circuitry or, more likely, the battery.
to check the percent of my battery I'm looking at setting>battery saver. If its a software problem how could i fix it? Is there a tweak in registry that can make the battery last longer? I've tried different custom roms but only Eburon rom gave a 2 days life battery but when I flash my hd7 to latest Eburon my battery returns to its old state where its easily drain so flash it back to old version of eburon.
I own a Moto G. Recently it was upgraded to KitKat 4.4.4. Before the update, when the battery level fell below 14%, battery saver (built-in battery saver) automatically came up and a message stating background data restricted was shown along with the battery saver icon. But after the update, there is no message and the icon doesn't come up even though the battery saver is enabled. I tried clearing the cache and even resetting the phone, but of no use!! Does anyone have the same issue? Please help me!!
Solved it!!

Can u tell me what you did to fix it? I'm facing the same issue since I upgraded. In fact it's not just about the notification, my battery saver just doesn't work anymore, even though it's on!! All this is happening after the 4.4.4 update.
Here you go...

Just update Assist and Contextual services and the battery saver will be back online
