Does the J7 (2016) support Quick Charge? - Samsung Galaxy J7 Questions & Answers

Looking online, I've found contradicting information.
Can someone tell me whether the J7 (2016) supports Quick Charge? I have the J710, but it should be the same as the rest of the family, I would imagine.

[Q] Feiyang F7100+ looking for info about

Hi all,
I'm looking for information about that chinese smartphone, the Feiyang F7100+ which I saw on an enough known chinese exporter (at least by european customers, mixeshop).
It looks like similar to several current chinese phones with 5.3" QHD display, 1G RAM/4G ROM, and MTK6589 cpu, but while Google points out to several information about the Zopo 910/Caesar A9600/Hero H9500 variants, or about those ALPS/Star/Feiteng/Cubot and the likes, apparently there's about nothing about this "vendor", Feiyang. I've asked some info the the shop itself, but I have not yet received replies. Eventually I've used the phone name to perform a search on XDA but without luck (obviously it is possible that I have done something wrong in doing so).
Well, its most distinctive feature (with reference to the quoted more known "mates") is just an integrated capacitive pen, as seen on several Galaxy Note II chinese clones, as the Bluebo N7105 and the likes. Besides, one competitor of the above quoted shop says that the Feiyang F7100+ is not a 5.3" QHD but a 5.5" HD phone (weird...).
So, has anyone never heard of that Feiyang F7100+? In case, where I can find any sort of support or information about official/custom ROMs, rooting and so on? Otherwise to which more known smartphone that Feiyang F7100+ should be nearly identical?
Thanks in advance for sharing, and please forgive me for my not so good english,
best regards,
Luca

You will find nothing here. Clone device break the GPL and in doing so break XDA rules.

[Noob]: AT&T Galaxy S6 Edge+ Root Possible? [6.0.1 MM] [BB G928AUCS4CPL1]

Hello guys,
I'm a noob here. Noob to rooting (but doesn't looks that hard since I'm pretty decent in tech and coding).
Would like to question if it's currently possible to root the AT&T S6 Edge+?
Long story short, I have a out of warranty phone and would like to start playing with it since I no longer subject to the company policy. I've been searching high and low but yet to see an available Kernel for the AT&T version.
I got the general stuffs down (Odin, etc.) but no TWRP available for this AT&T version phone?
Please advise.
Many thanks and best regards,

Looking for info on J727U

Hello all. My wife picked this up for me on black friday. Being that it was a surprise, I didn't do any research on it. Some searches have turned up misleading information on the phone. Mostly in terms of the model number vs. designation (Galaxy J7 Sky,J7 Perk, J7 Pop, etc), and what can be done with the phone in terms of rooting and such. Not much info available on the boards here, just a couple of un-answered posts. If someone who know might be able to point me in the right direction here, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
I should add that I've never worked with a phone that had this many variations, so I'm faced with a bit of a learning curve. My apologies in advance.

Advantages of rooting?

Hi all, it's my first post so please be gentle especially as it seems like a stupid question.
I've just bought a second hand S3 frontier so I've been looking around the internet for information, tips & tricks etc. and found this website.
I have heard the term rooting before and realise it's been going on for a long time on mobile devices but always wondered what are the pros & cons.
For the S3 for example is it something you have to do to put on your (or other people's) watch faces for example.
I am not that tech savvy to be honest and I would worry about bricking the device but if there are many advantages to doing it I would consider it.
Thanks in advance.
Can you tell us exact Model Name of your Gear S3 please?
SM-R760 or LTE Variants like SM-R765A or?
Best Regards
Hi, it's the SM-R760
You use Samsung Pay?
Or you wish to use Samsung Pay?
I am asking because I have killed Knox Warranty Void...
And somebody with SM-R805U or something like this told rooted device prevent Samsung Pay from working...
Best Regards
To be honest I have only just purchased the watch so I haven't set up or used that feature yet but it is something I will definitely want to use for the convenience factor.
IMHO good idea to play little bit with your new SM-R760...
If you miss something... you could ask here... if ROOT would "help" or something else allready available...
Best Regards
