Hello,
My phone: Huawei Mate 8 Software: L29C432B560, and is rooted.
Strava is configured for not closing when screen is blocked (Settings/Battery). However, it is closed anytime by the operative system when I am recording a route.
Has anyone a solution for that issue?
Thanks in advance.

Strava is already configured "Allow". I'm sorry, I had forgotten to indicate it.
Today, I went on 65km bike tour with Strava engaged. All battery optimisations were off + Strava was "locked" in recent apps menu. Strava crashed with no explanation anywhere...
I'm using EMUI 5.0 on Huawei Mate 9.
This confirms other posts all over Internet which say: if you are into sport don't buy any Huawei
The last thing I've tried: Faster GPS locking on your rooted Android device.
http://www.techrepublic.com/article/faster-gps-locking-on-your-rooted-android-device/
I'm followed the steps, it really faster GPS locking, but it keeps crashing Strava in the middle of recording a route...
I feel desperate for this situation...
What more could I try?
I would also want to know. Having similar problems with my Honor 8...

No.
I was just about to post on this.
I don't have it listed under PC Connection in settings (where it is in the YouTube videos). I just have LG Software/PC Suite
There's a thread saying that they had On Screen Phone 4.3.005 "frozen" - i.e. they considered it bloat... so it does exist. I don't have it listed in Titanium backup as being on my phone at all.
Can someone post either the APK or a TiBkp of the On Screen Phone app? It's a system app - titanium backup will be easier for me - otherwise, if you're feeling extremely nice, a flashable ZIP (though that can cause problems).
I'm on stock 4.4.2 with t-mobile. I've been reading that it doesn't come on Vzn phones either. The download is available from LG (desktop software) for the T-mobile version though, so this is really getting frustrating.
It's under accesibility. It works more reliably for me than it did in JB (PC finds the phone every time).

Where did you find it?
And if you're rooted - can you do a Titanium Backup of the On Screen Phone app and post it?

Very strange. It's under services for me. Stock KK. Sorry I don't have Titanium Backup. Doesn't it show in the Update center?

Well, that's a good question.
Settings force closes when I try to go there...
Maybe it's time for a new rom...

What about from apps -> update center?

it does work from me. I've done nothing special about it.
While b180 is supposed to fix phone notifications, it seems to have broken smart watch notifications. I no longer get them on my Microsoft band or Garmin fenix 2. I have done a decent amount of troubleshooting but both are very flakey and most often, just don't receive the alerts. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?
Uninstalling updates to android system webview fixed it. Thanks google.
My wife and I are both on B180 and MS Band 2 is working better than ever.

I have the same issue with huawei watch also with car mmi i think bluetooth.
will try your fix
Find Android system web view under apps, select it, hit the menu button at the bottom, and select uninstall updates. Then go to the Google play store, find it again, and select do not auto update.
Above solution not working for me
So is there any way to enable a Trusted Location? Like for example, tell your cell phone not to lock when you are at home? I have added a Trusted device (huawei watch) but I don't always have the watch on and charged. I had Trusted Location enabled on my Nexus 6 but just can't find it anywhere on the Mate 9. Thanks in advance for any help.

did you try (my phone is not in English):
Settings
Advanced Settings
Security (or similar)
Advanced -> Trusted agents (or similar) -> enable Google smart lock?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I Sure did. I've got Google Smart Lock enabled. It's working with my Huawei smart watch but I don't see Trusted Locations and I don't see anything about "on body" unlock - stuff I'm used to seeing with my Nexus 6.
To my knowledge it was possible on the mate 8 but it's not on the mate 9.

sorry, i don't know that as I am not using that feature.. and I am really trying to like huawei mate 9, but it stays more and more at home, prefer OP3T and even HTC 10 more.. and i REALLY REALLY will try to give it another chance..
I still have the Mate 8 and it wasn't poosible on that device either - only bluetooth. Bit of a bummer really.
Anybody has chinese model AL00 in this topic?
I extracted system apps from rom al00c00b156 and found HwTrustPlace and HwTrustAgent
Think, this model has that function...
On my MHA-L29C432 is HwTrustAgent only
P.s. At this time is no way to install system apps from one model to other
It indeed was the Chinese mate 8 with that option.

This is the only feature I miss from my Nexus 6p.
Huawei and there over exaggerated security.
I miss Trusted Face... but yeah, seems like none of that stuff is available...
So funny thing happened to me today. I was missing the trusted places feature as well, since I got my Mate 9 4 days ago. Well today, similar to what my Pixel Xl did, my mate 9 asked me if I wanted to add my current location (Home) to the trusted places. I said hell yeah, and now my phone no longer requires fingerprint or pin unlock while at home.
I can also confirm that trusted face is also available in the same menu that had the trusted places.
The only issue is that I haven't found a way to get back to that menu. It seems since it is a native Android function that it is there, but EMUI has it masked with no menu item to access it.

This is happening to me - got a Mate 9 (US) a week ago, couldn't find trusted places anywhere, today got prompted to add my home address as a trusted place which worked, but I can't find trusted place settings anywhere to add additional addresses or make changes! Bizarre
The Mate 9 does have the feature. It's called Smart Unlock settings. The best way to get to it is going to Security & Privacy, and type Smart Unlock in the search bar.
UPDATE: I found the exact location. Settings>Security & privacy>Screen lock & passwords>Smart unlock. Be sure to reboot for the changes to take effect. I had to do this after pairing it with my car.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Android 7.0
Google App v6.10.37.21
Google App > Settings > Voice > '"Ok Google" detection' > 'From any screen'
This brings up the "Search by voice from any screen" setup wizard.
As soon as I tap "Get started", I see a message stating: "Can't use the microphone. Restart your device."
Restarting does not help.
This also happened in Android 6.x, before I upgraded to Android 7.0.
I can record my voice in Samsung's Voice Memos app without any issues.
Google App has all permissions (including Microphone) enabled.
Any ideas?

Thanks man. I think my problem was that I got my LG watch R synced up with my Android Wear too. Once I delete it, huawei wear started syncing with my watch. Weird one
