[Q/A] Anyone Know of Any Up-To-Date Roms? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

(Ok.. For some reason the thread got moved and the redirect page got closed, sorry about that! XDA mod, don't close this one please!)
Hey guys, I've been searching for ROMS that are for the SM-G925P (I have found some but they're not being maintained anymore). There is a specific one I'm looking for, which goes by the following guidelines:
Deodexed for Xposed (Systemless)
Debloated
Multi-User Support
Using Android 6.0.1
Works with a SM-G925P
That's pretty much what I'm looking for in a ROM.. the only one that's pretty close is Renegade HD, but like I said, its not being maintained anymore

Or if anyone has a copy of any of the 6.0.1 roms, all the links are dead, it would be much appreciated

Need stock rooted 4.2.2, like MicroDelta, but can't download

Hello everyone,
My dad has Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (P3113, wifi only) and I would like to update it for him to the latest rooted stock (or stock-like) ROM.
So far I have found the MicroDelta rom that is pretty close to stock (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2405410) and I like the description of it a lot, but there's something wrong with the download links, so I couldn't try it (says "Invalid Attachment specified..."). I also don't have enough posts to comment on that thread to notify that download links don't work. I've been a user of xda for a while, but hate to just go spamming the forums to get the 10 posts count, so I don't have enough to comment in dev. I only say something if I have something to say, you know...
I also tried to search for other "stock rooted 4.2.2 Tab 2 7.0" roms, but couldn't find anything closer/better than the MicroDelta rom.
Therefore, if someone would be so kind to help me in these 2 ways I'd be very thankful:
1) Notify/PM the maker of MicroDelta rom (Tsjoklat) and say that download links don't work (since I can neither post there, nor PM him).
or
2) Tell me if there's some other stock rooted 4.2.2 rom for P3113 thread available that I couldn't find.

you can try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2081801 sungsonic ver7 the best stock based rom
for my tab
Thank you, Mohdsultan. I'll go try the Sungsonic rom.
I've installed sungsonic v7 now. I actually remember trying this rom some times ago now. It's pretty cool, but I couldn't figure out how to remove the cellphone related stuff. My dad's device is P3113, that is wifi only and no celluar. I remember now there were some patches to remove celluar stuff, but there are 478 pages in the Sungsonic's thread, which is unrealistic to read in short amount of time. Mohdsultan, can you pin-point me to the thread containing the latest instruction to remove cellphone-related stuff from the Sungsonic rom?
Alright, for those interested, here's the link for the latest phone-related stuff remover for Sungsonic v7: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49145850
This rom, however, is missing the default touchwiz weather widget that my dad needs. I've read though and it's not that easy to add the widget back. Adi (the rom dev) promised to make some patch for this sometimes later, but as of now I don't think this rom will suite my dad's needs. I'd install it for myself maybe, but not for my dad's tab. He just needs stock + root (for ad block) and that's it. So the quest is not over: still looking for the stock rooted 4.2.2 rom.
The problem is solved now. Links to download for the MicroDelta server is in post #323 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51171998&postcount=323 )

Rooted, now installing a rom

Hey guys converter from iPhone over here. Last time I rooted it was fairly straightforward and was able to get going quickly. This newer stuff is a little new to me.
I rooted my sprint s5 using towel root. Now what? I see roms like omega but none really say anything about the sprint model.
What should i do next to install a boottloader then a rom?
Thanks

Assuming you are a new XDA user. Welcome to the forum and be sure to read over the forum rules. They might save you some headache in the future. For example, this post should of been in the Q&A section but no biggie. A mod will move it if need be.
Anyways, about your question, this is the Sprint specific forum so all the roms here should be compatible with the Sprint S5 (900P). Some of the roms will be based off of Touchwiz (these will keep almost 100% of stock functionality while adding some extras) and AOSP roms (custom based on CM, MIUI, etc.) The first post of each rom thread will give you a good idea of what the rom has included, instructions to flash, what works and doesn't, and so on.
If you just rooted get a custom recovery on there and do a backup of the system and EFS first thing. As for bootloader, that is preference and may depend on what rom you flash but I would think you will be fine with what version you have now.
This is also a good thread to take a look at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52456762&postcount=1

Make your Galaxy Note 3 look like a Nexus running 5.0 without a custom ROM (ROOT)

Guide to make your SM-N900 running 4.4.2 look like a Nexus with Lollipop
So I started this blog explaining how I did that, many thanks to the threads available on this forum. I was getting really tired of TouchWiz, and using a different launcher still didn't seem to solve the problem of all that bloatware running in the background. Plus, I am really obsessed with Material Design and Lollipop.
I was determined to not get a custom ROM and flash a new recovery, so instead I ended up doing this. Check it out and let me know what you think and help refine this approach by contributing on this thread.
Here's the link : www[DOT]wtfpotato.org/2015/01/how-to-make-your-galaxy-note-3-look.html (The forum isn't allowing me to post links yet but I assure you, it isn't spam)
PS: I know that's a random URL name, but it was cheap and funny

[Completed] Installable 64 bit deodexed Lollipop rom.

Hi, I've been trying to successfully deodex and install the rom on my HTC One M9 since I got it at the end of March without any luck. I think I have successfully deodexed it, but I haven't been able to install it on my phone to be sure. I've tried every method I've been able to find regarding this procedure, (with the exception of using Linux) but I haven't found anything specific to 64 bit Lollipop or the M9 in Windows. Actually I think I did find a thread that gave instructions on how to push a deodexed rom and delete the odex, but I can't seem to find it again since I was able to deodex it. Anyway what I really want to do is make a Installable zip. Is there someone who's had success with this that could point me in the right direction or could help me with this? If not then I guess I will have to learn Linux and try one of those methods before I ask again.

No one? Really disappointed. I thought someone who knows how to do this would help out. Maybe no one who knows how to do this has seen this post. Anyway I hope that is the case. I would hate to think that someone would let me try outdated processes that could potentially damage my phone instead of helping me with this. I know that there are several devs out there that knows how to do this. All good.
Cheers!

All variants roms?

Hello everyone,
I have frequented XDA for a long time and have been rooting/unlocking my phones since I've had my first smartphone (s3). Until now, I haven't really had any questions pertaining to installing custom roms and the like.
My question is - can I install m8 roms that say they are for "all variants"? I ask because I'd like to start trying out different roms such as the AICP rom but have no idea if it will work on my phone. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I currently have an unlocked m8 running the GPE Marshmallow H10 rom found in the Android Dev section of this forum.

The way I see it, You better off flashing a ROM which has a thread within this forum. Otherwise it may not work "out of the box" sort to speak.
You actually have to make sure the "All Variants" is meant for the current version you're trying to flash. For instance, new Viper 5.x only works on unlocked/sprint. I think I tried one of the all variants ROMs once and it needed special modifications to work correctly. *shrug*
You could also ask in the AICP thread if there's anything special which needs to be flashed/modified for it to work.
