I've recently bought a Sony Xperia XZ, I've unlocked the OEM thing from the developer options and Have unlocked the bootloader via fastboot commands as well with the imei number. Still, when I try to open the bootloader menu, I get the blue indicator light lit on the phone but the screen stays black. What am I doing wrong? I haven't had any android marshmallow version phones before, so I'm not exactly familiar with the oem lock thing.

My device is C6903 (14.4.a.0.108) bought from the Philippines. It's already rooted and has an unlocked bootloader.
The problem is when I installed this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2699803 it now wouldn't boot it just shows the Sony logo and after 2 minutes or so it just blacked out. but when i tap the screen on a dark room the screen shows the black background without the sony logo and after a moment it darkened again like its in lock screen (Its really hard to describe).
I flashed it using fastboot. with this command
/ fastboot flash boot boot.img / and after I input this command
/ fastboot reboot /.
Its still charging and it shows the battery icon when charging on an off state. It can still be recognized by fastboot when i connected it to the computer.
Ive already hard reset it using the button on the sim card slot and the other method the power button and the volume up. It didn't really helped. help me guys Im new in this flashing methods. What should I do?
Hi,
Did you read the requirements at the beginning of post number 1? Did you meet those requirements? The best place to ask about this is in the kernel thread you linked in your post. If that doesn't help you, you can ask for help here....

thanks for replying. I have managed to get out of the situation but now I'm facing another one. My phone is now on boot loop. I tried using flashtool but it wouldn't work. While on flashboot doing its job, my phone would just boot up and go again on a boot loop. flashtool log would just say device disconnected.
I think I found a way to do another trick using fastboot but I don't have a custom recovery installed. Is there any way that I can install CWM or any tools like it using only fastboot? I've been looking for it the whole time but I can't find one. I'm new to this thing by the way. Thanks again!
I've found one. http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Template:Recovery_install_fastboot
Can i flash this Z1-lockeddualrecovery2.7.154-BETA.flashable.zip (if its possible ) instead of the .img that was mentioned on the site. I can't find a recovery.img for my device.
Again, please ask in your device section linked above.
Thanks!
Thank you. Thread closed.
Hello, since this morning, my moto G dont work anymore, let me explain :
I wanted to re-lock the bootloader so the warning message wouldnt show up in the future, so it will be better for sell the smartphone. So I've download a rom here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/rom-stock-motorola-lollipop-rom-t3017510 (When I was connecting my phone on my pc, "xt1032" appeared, so I took a random version corresponding). Then I've download fastboot and adb, with the recovery mod and everything. I flashed the rom with "fastboot oem lock begin" or something like that and all the lines that come after, but now, the smartphone dont work anymore : Or it freeze on the "bootloader" warning, or it restart in loop just after a few seconds with the bootloader warning on the screen. I noticed that when I writed the lines in the cmd, an error appeared "failed : remote failure" or something like that, which, in a lot of cases, mean that the bootloader is locked, but it cant be the case because in the recovery, I can see "device is unlocked : Status code : 3" and in the cmd, when I try to unlock the bootloader, it say that the bootloader is already unlocked, so I dont know what to do, I have tried a lot of differents rom and nothing work, please heal me

My father recently got an Asus Nexus 7 tablet, the one without a camera on the back, from a garage sale. The tablet was locked, which is reasonable, but what is strange is that i can not factory reset the tablet. There is no option on the lock screen like on some systems and the recovery menu doesn't actually work. I can access the boot loader, and read the info there, however I can not enter recovery mode. When i try to enter recovery mode, the tablet goes to a black screen with the white google logo and a small lock at the bottom of the screen. The lock appears to be in an unlocked state. When i try to connect the tablet to a PC and use the ADB, the boot loader freezes when connected to the PC. Any idea what all is going on here? Any help would be great, as well as some info as to where a better place to post this would be. I can offer more info and pictures if that would help as well.

I have a BLU Life Mark, a phone that doesn't seem to exist on the internet. I'd like to install a custom ROM, and have got as far as running the fast boot OEM unlock command in a terminal window (using a mac), but when I do this it brings up the screen where I use volume up to proceed and volume down to back out - volume up simply does not respond!
Any advice as to how to progress from here?
Much obliged,
L
