Alcatel One Touch Pop C5 - USB On The Go - General Questions and Answers

Hello, I need to ask if the Alcatel One Touch Pop C5 (unrooted) is able to use a USB on the Go cable? I've searched the internet and have found nothing. However, I have used an OTG checker app and it claims that the phone is able to use USB OTG. I've also found in the "Storage" settings that it has the function to access external USB storage. Is this the same as USB on the go?
Thanks if you can answer.

[Q] Samsung tab 3 SMT211 enable OTG ! ( any hardware hack ?! )

Samsing tab 3 SMT211 does not supports otg. Even after rooting it will not enable it. Because otg is both software and hardware related.
1) I believe that tab's motherboard must supply power output to otg cable in order to use Pendrive
2) Also, there should be some Driver / software to access Pendrive
So i am theorizing that if i can power my pendrive externally in someways and also install required driver in tab then i can ACCESS Pendrive in my Tab.
[Below is a picture of connecting my micro USB Pendrive to tab and powebank at the same time to power my usb ]
And i am missing the knowledge of what driver to be installed in order to use pendrive.
Please Shower me some knowledge. Am i correct. Can i Access pendrive in my Smt211 tab ??

Hello! First of all thank you for creating the thread in the XDA Assist forum.
You need to reply me just three questions:
1. Which is your device?
2. Did you try with another USB storages to see if he recognizes it?
3. Did you download a file explorer to see if your USB OTG is recognized?

OTG USB Not Working in Droid Ultra Mini

I bought a new external usb device with dual interface, and it is not working on my Motorola Driod Ultra Mini. I am on Kit Kat 4.4.4 and As I connect my external device, nothing happens. Even in "Storage", The "USB DISK" Option (MOUNT USB On-TheGo storage is diabled (greyed out).
The amount of research I have done on this problem is some says It will not work on my phone as google and my andriod version are not compatible with the OTG Support and some says rooting the phone can do the trick.
Rooting, on the other hand, is troubling me , my device is showing offline in adb cmd. Though I am stil trying.
If any one is head up for any solution , I would be more than thankful.

StickMount on Android 6 is not working!

Hi guys!
Today i bought a OTG cable and tried it one my OpO.
I installed StickMount, granted him Root access with the settings of Android 6. But my usb storage doesn't show up under /usbStorage... Maybe because i don't have SuperSU binaries?
Thnaks for your time!
When you conect OPO to PC you must change from Only charging to Mass storage, juct click on it.
