I am facing issues with Airtel4g sim. Getting not even 0.5mbps. RJio is working fine with good speeds. I have tested same Airtel sim in Lyf Wind4 and it gave the speed upto 20mbps. So whats wrong there with Honor6x? All APN settings are also OK as per Airtel guys. Plz friends help me to sort it out. I have updated to Nougat today, but the same problem is still there. I have tried Airtel in slot1 as well as slot2. All phone settings are also ok. Plz help me

So i updated my honor 6x (BLN-L21 EU Version) to android 7.0 (emui5) through an app called 'Firmware finder'. Now I can't find the LTE option in the settings and when I activate mobile data, I can't see 4g in the notification bar.
It worked normal on emui 4.1.
Official or BETA release ?

I think that this is a beta.
LTE works for me BLN-L21 with Nougat.
I am on 342 which is the beta and I have LTE/4G working just fine. It just always worked, I didn't have to do anything.

Hi,
Does anyone have the stock recovery image for the Huawei GR5 2017 (BLL-L22 on the EMUI 5.0 update?I need it in order to restore my phone to EMUI 5.0, as not having HWC on the custom ROMs makes the UI laggy, and I'd rather use that till the OpenKirin project fixes that issue.
Not really answering your question. I have a question myself. Is your phone rooted? Coz i would really love to know how to root bll-l22.
Download the firmware (that is compatible with your device) and then extract it.

I can help you to do it, but if I do, can you please send me a TWRP backup of stock EMUI 5.0? Please I'm desperate.
Here's how to root it anyways:
Pre requisite:
Minimal ADB and Fastboot installed, find it here: https://redirect.viglink.com/?forma...t and Hacking&txt=Download Version 1.4.2 Here .
1. Unlock the bootloader using this site: https://hwid5.vmall.com/CAS/mobile/...ndex&loginChannel=22000000&reqClientType=2023 . You'll need to create a free account with Huawei.
2. Reboot into fastboot after verifying successful bootloader unlock.
3. Download TWRP from here: https://github.com/OpenKirin/androi...ases/download/3.1.1-0/twrp-3.1.1-0-berlin.img and then rename the image to TWRP. Put it in the minimal ADB and Fastboot folder.
4. Install it by opening a command prompt in the folder (you can do this by shift right clicking and selecting "open windows PowerShell window here" and then typing cmd in the PowerShell prompt) and then typing " fastboot flash recovery twrp.img ".
5. Unplug the phone from the PC, and then boot into TWRP by holding power and volume up.
6. Flash a root solution such as magisk from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445 .
7. Reboot and you should be rooted on EMUI 5.0 with your Huawei GR5 2017 BLL-L22.
Hit the thanks button if I helped.

But still my 4g isn't working. I did debranding from BLN-24 to BLN-L22 and BLN-L22 to BLL-L22.... But still I am facing same problem.
* activated 4g twice
* Changed sim
* Tried different service provider
* Debranding to 2 different region
* Went to Huawei service center
Still 4g isn't working. Is honor 6x actually 4g phone ?
Because when I was using USA firmware it showed 4g on signal but never use 4g.

Are you sure you are using 4G. please check your speed and let me know.
Because when my phone was in USA version (L24 ) firmware. All time it showed 4G sign on signal but when i checked my speed it was around 2-3 Mbps. It only shows 4G sign on signal but it actually run in 3G. When i activated 4G on my sim. My cellular provider gave me 2GB date as a bonus for 4G network only. But that bonus i could not use it because i was never in 4G. I called my cellular provider they told me your phone is using only 3G network.
After debranding it doesnot show 4G sign in signal. That's the only difference.
sorry for my bad english. i hope you will understand.

After nearly 24 hrs test, I'm feeling some improvement on battery life and the drain is less than previous update
48 hours later: ROM is defective as previous v11.0.4.
crash / reboot / losing app preferences config / mock location unstable / crashing
No such issues with 11.0.4. Did you try to do a factory reset? Usually it helps with such strange issues.

This started happening after OTA update to 11.0.4
I've manually updated to 11.0.6 but same thing.
Thanks for the suggestion. I did that in the past with another Xiaomi device but the thing is that I'd like to avoid losing everything & restart from scratch...
I tried to clean all data/cache for all apps with a cleaner but without luck.
I'm hoping that a newer ROM will be able to fix the issue... Maybe I'm wrong... Will see with next update...
I have sent numerous crash bug reports to Xiaomi but they never bothered to contact me about it.
It seems they don't care or are too busy.
Give it a try, I saw a lot of reports where a factory reset solved such bizarre problems happening after major software change.

I used the one shared by subhraw here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81926515&postcount=3
instead of laughing you should tell us why you think it's a chinese only rom...
normally you cannot update a global rom with a chinese rom without doing a flash update
I did NOT use a flash tool (used instead MIUI update option)
so this is probably not a chinese only but a beta global ROM but I might be wrong...

Hi, I've noticed here in the UK, update support has been a lot more sparse compared to India and was wondering if my RMX2075 could install an RMX2076PU ROM, they recently uploaded on the UK website with A.22 which was RMX2076EU.
If I downloaded a .ozip from the Indian website, what would happen? Would I lose my data? Is it possible to interchange and switch between PU, EU and RMX2075 ROMs freely as to whichever gets the update first.
Thanks a lot
- Josh

Just got the release for A.32 on RMX2075
Hi Guys,
I know it's been a while on this thread. But wondering, with Android 11 beta released for Indian variants of the phone. Is it possible to flash an Indian ROM over here on the RMX2075 / EU phones?
Thanks - Josh
i was wondering if i can install a EU on a PU version. Ive a EU device with a PU rom installed i want to have EU back.
Can I just go in recovery and flash a EU version?
my PU IS 11.A.41
EU is at 11.a.42
From my experience, flashing PU ok is not good : FP scanner doesn't work anymore after doing that, even after i flash back EU version. And when trying Android11 PU update, it's worse: there's all camera that doesn't work (crash at launch). If somebody knows how to restore the FP scanner, let me know..
