I was hoping they would of added that with 7.0
I'm just happy we got the AOD upgrade to the one Samsung had on the Note 7's

If you restore to 6.0.1 u can setup adoptable storage with AND and update back to 7.0 and still have adoptable storage working. Working great for me.

I "think" it's when you can format the external sdcard a certain way to let the phone use it as internal storage... And install apps directly to the sdcard (?)
Maybe someone else can clarify for us both...?

Really? The last 7.0 beta let me use adoptable storage, I don't know why they would have taken it away in the official. Guess I'll have to double check when I do a clean install
Any instructions?

Cool, finally a custom lollipop rom for our device..and it's not for the wifi variant, darn xD..But, I have to ask, I know this is PURE AOSP, but, what would be the advantages of using this ROM vs stock rooted lollipop w/ nvidia's binaries?
If I have time, I'll give this a shot tomorrow!

This is running well. Only issue I see is lack of a camera. Drivers missing I suppose. Very stable, daily driver for sure! Thanks !

WiFi doesn't connect automatically, you have to go into settings and click connect.
Installed and running good so far. Like pjim, I also noticed that the camera's are inop. Another thing I noticed is that I'm unable to mount my 64GB NTFS formated uSDCard. I checked the fstab files and the /storage/sdcard1 entries have vfat as the partition type. I tried editing them manually and rebooting, but I'm not having any luck so far.

the fstab is on the initramfs, it will always get reset on reboot. if you want your changes to persist, you need to unpack the boot.img, make the changes, repack and flash

This ROM is built against the LTE US (wx_na_do) board, not wx_na_wf. That means wx_na_wf is not supported.

Whats the best way to root a Galaxy J7 from tmobile USA, model SM-J700T?
I thought I would have this j7 rooted already myself.
Ran into fastboot issues like in the V10 forums after mm update. Seems fastboot oem unlock is disabled yet you can click to unlock in developers? Kinda of pisses me off about that. Everyone blamed LG for that but now I see a 2nd T-Mobile phone with same issue.

Yeah the J7 is good for the price without all the bells and whistles. I am seriously thinking of returning it for a refund and getting a Note 5.
I can understand that. I didn't get a note partly because since i want to remove as much samsung software as possible, it makes the s-pen almost unusable therefore a waste of the extra money. Also, i am little impressed with this device for the money. Had it been only 1-1 1/2 gig of ram like the other models I'd pass on it.

The only reason I"m returning this phone is because it lacks an LED notification light. If it had it I would really keep it.

Hi guys. I have bought a Galaxy S7 2-3 months ago. I am still on stock rom, also never rooted on s7. Is there someone out there interested in building CM for S7? I saw that someone has built cm for s7 edge and booted it,so it is possible. Thanks to everyone who will answer
If you can build for yourself I already have the source on my github for the flat S7 https://github.com/JapRainGoggles

You need to make an edit to the kernels arm64 config before it will compile but when you try the make error will tell you where the file is if you don't know

Ya i kinda like touchwiz(stupid name i know), can you imagine an aosp camera on the s7? That'll be a cluster**** of a mess, no instant focus, no sdcard support, no nothing, just a featureless app. Try the google camera and you'll see what i mean, takes 1 second to take a pic.

1.1gb is taken for system.
15gb is taken for system apps.
However everyone believes this is an error and should say 16gb for system instead of apps.

available storage space is 50gb, on both P and Q.
After I have installed all my personal apps I use I have 42 GB of free space left. Together with cloud space it is more than enough for me.
Thanks for the answers. Looks like I'll be headed to Bestbuy soon.
