Hi,
I am on TWRP 2.6.3.1 and CM11, but I can´t mount ext. SDcard for backup or flashing ROMs. I have to copy them to internal storage before flashing or restore something. Is this a bug in newest TWRP? Backup and restore to internal storage went well.

Nope, I don't seem to have that problem, are you switching the partition being viewed at the top of the file manager?

I can´t switch to ´/sd-ext´ . The log says: "E: Unable to mount external_SD" eveytime I want to mount it or wipe it. The SDCard ist readable in CM11.

Is it formatted correctly for Android? FAT32 works fine.

Yes, it is, FAT32. Formated on Win7 and with CM11. It is the SDcard in dock, not MicroSD in tablet!

Hi
Data partition is encrypted by Samsung and TWRP can not access it , that is why you can not factory reset your phone , in order to access the data partition you must format it ( to disable the encryption) so it can be access by TWRP , if you do not plan to use the data partition to store backups or place mods or roms to flash them from there then you do not need to do it
To format the partition go TWRP / wipe / format data ( and type yes) ..... backup, this will erase all user apps and data ( AKA factory reset)

Cool mate !!!!
So I have this problem with TWRP that I haven't been able to find a solution for, it's been bugging me for a while now. Everytime I try to format data in TWRP to remove encryption on my internal storage it will work fine as long as I am on recovery mode but if I reboot to system and setup everything, when I reboot back to TWRP it goes back to 0MB, any solution?
Format Data In TWRP. THIS WILL DELETE ALL YOUR DATA

You need to flash a custom kernel with Forced Encryption disabled and then format /data in TWRP
I am getting same 0 mb internal problem it gets solved after formatting data but when u start the stock rom and fill the Google accent details and all I mean after setting it up and when we boot to recovery after that same problem occurs and after card also can't be read

Thank you it worked....
I somehow lost the ability to MOUNT /DATA from inside TWRP. Do I need to format DATA to fix this ?? or maybe just re-flash the encryption breaker instead ? I would rather not lose all ...
Thanks for any help here !!

repair the file system, try exfat.
mine got the same thing too and I changed its format to exfat after that it got mounted and then I re-flashed the stock ROM via ODIN
after that my phone got into bootloops, at first I got scared like WTF but then I rebooted into the official recovery and through there I wiped data/factory reset and wiped the cache as well, after it everything went normal AF
though I lost my data stored in the internal partition (idk it had to wipe the app-data partition but instead it wiped every partition out and yeah my EFS didn't got affected at all but you should be careful)
Format.type yes. Then flash encryption breaker. U have to flash encryption breaker after flashing anything basically. U can change file system but u won't actually fix the issue and therefore never do nandroid backups

It's also part of THE SR5 superSU 2.8.2 ZIP !
Basically I screw up last night, trying to flash a file that was not supposed to work on minote 3, android 7.
After some tries(flashing pixel experience and appearing the encrypted phone), I was able to flash miuiPro 8.9.20.
The phone works perfectly, but I have some errors, that I need some help:
-when I go to twrp, there is 0 zips in folder, I' can't find them anywhere
-basically when I try to flash magisk, it appears Installation failed
-I can't repair data, error: failed to mount /data
Thanks for all the help I receive.
Try mounting /data manually or format data.
Hi, try to flash fastboot rom with MiFlash and then flash the rom you want.
