•••What is MultiRom?•••
MultiRom is a unique Russian project of which the main focus is quality and stability.
MultiRom Team "Quote"
"Our team is a team of IT professionals. We use modern version control systems, assembly, testing, quality control assembly"
•••Main goal of this project •••
MultiRom team uses their new translation system and patching firmware "B.A.R.S."/Methic.
But Xiaomi.EU team uses simple ways apktool and smali/baksmali.
MultiRom way takes more time to compile but the quality of their work is on a high level.
All APK's during the translation are subject to optimization. The greater the amount of free RAM - as a result of the optimization.
-And one example of their great work & high quality is how much free ram is available compared to other MIUI ROM's.
-They use about 40 patches to make the firmware great. In addition to well-known patches and patch T9 paid to those present:
-Patch Anti-spam, calendar (Russian and Ukrainian holidays), camera, wedge-master, e-mail, gallery, a compass, a framework, Mui keyguard, framework, weather, SMS, yellow pages, security center, videos, contacts, and so on. In general, patches adapted typical Chinese setting and services to European.
-They do not include third-party firmware hacked software. Only Open-Source.
••• What are MultiRom features •••
- Based on China Roms.
- Great improvement in Ram management ( 2.0 GB+ Free Ram Available)
- Supports Both Developer and Stable Roms.
- Weekly Updates For Developer Rom After MIUI Official Update.
- Enough Google Apps Installed.
- No Problem With google app ( Gmail Chrome , Play Store , Play Game , .... ) Like FC Problem.
- Chinese Useless Apps removed.
- Appropriate Size For Full Firmware ( Less than 1 GB)
••• Included Languages •••
Chinese (miui.com)
English (miui.com, MultiROM)
Russian (MultiROM)
Ukrainian (MultiROM)
Lithuanian (Mr.Sl, Jonas)
German (pareh, cpu82)
••• Requirements •••
1- Unlocked Bootloader
2- Custom TWRP Recovery like Cofface or ZCX.
••••Important ••••
Just Wipe Data/Cache. DO NOT WIPE SYSTEM.
••••Updating ••••
Download new update, go to updater & select three dots on top right & select "Choose update package"
Or:
Download new update & flash in TWRP wiping Dalvik & Cache afterwards.
••••Note about Root••••

On the official website there is no requirement to install over existing ROM. So by right you can do a clean flash

This is great! Happy to see some development going on for the MTK version
Will try it as soon as I can, good work guys

Just here to remind you guys that google doze is not enabled on thus rom because it based on the chine dev rom. Roma like xiaomi.eu and epic rom are based on global dev builds and have google doze ENABLED. I have tested and checked personally. To enable doze on roms based on global dev builds disable MIUI optimizations.

Interesting you say this, Better Battery Stats shows Doze time for me, is this incorrect? (with MIUI optimisations ON)

Need to know if you are running a china dev based rom or global dev based rom.
The 1 thing i am sure about is the china dev roms dont have doze flags enabled.
As for doze on global roms I have read somewhere that to fully activate doze without MIUI interfering MIUI optomizations need to be disabled. It could be that that doze is enabled even with Optimizations set to on.

I'm running this MultiROM with MIUI optimisations ON. I still don't fully understand what the optimisation is, what it does?

Are you sure? As I've read many times that Xiaomi.eu are based on China Developer even on their own forums.
And here on XDA about EPIC ROMs based on China Developer:

The 7.1.19 xiaomi.eu ROM was based on global dev builds. The chinese builds were on 7.1.20.
This rom (multirom) is based on china dev. As for xiaomi.eu, I have read that not all phones are based on the china roms.
Either that or they somehow found a way to turn on doze (which is impossible because it is very complicated. To do it youd need to mod the base framework which is easy if you can build the rom scratch like cm13 or aosp stuff or use xposed.)

Man thats weird. I ran this rom for at least 3 or 2 days and it never went into doze. With or without miui optimizations turned on.
It deep sleeped but never went into doze. Standby without moving phone for like 5 hours

hey btw doze interactive stat on better battery stats doesnt mean it has entered doze. If it has dozed it would show doze idle time.

I'll double check to make sure I was seeing correctly. I often have issues with BBS where it says 'No stats have been collected yet' when I go to 'Summary', 'Partial Wakelocks' and others.

Installed GSAM, will report back.

Installed and tested, didn't liked... Google Play Store doesn't let me download nothing using LTE connection, it's really annoying... The fingerprint wake does not work, and very few languages available, which I understand, it's a global release. But overall... Doesn't seem to bring anything new, really. The battery, overall performance... It's pretty much the same as the European weekly release I have been using, and it has my native language, so for me, no point on using this one.

Hey, I am curious if that would work on Epic rom. What do you think guys?

Sorry I'm a bit confused as you say EPIC & Xiaomi.eu are "based on Global Dev builds"
On the official EPIC ROM site page for Redmi Note 4 @ (HTCmania) it clearly says & I quote:
"Features of EPIC ROM MarshMallow 6.0:"
"· Based on the official rom developer chinese, combined with xiaomi.eu"

Interesting stuff on GSAM. Left my phone overnight and it only shows doze active for around 30 minutes. I'll disable MIUI optimisations tonight and do the same.

Can I use Jbart for to add languages to this multirom?

It will, but some Things may not work like the init.d Scripts. I've also dropped the extra support for LG Stock like 4K Video Recording on the front Camera or Adoptable Storage with the LIGHT PATCH. This is the preparation for bigger Things like a own Android/Fuchsia OS and own Apps based on AOSP. I can just say from this Point that AOSP has just advantages and almost no Things to miss like Quality combined with the Patch. Once AOSP is stable on a Device it reaches just a higher Level. Even the OEMs of the Devices are not putting almost nearly as much efforts on optimizing a Device than the AOSP Devs do...
Try Lineage OS with the Patch, You will not regret it! That's all what i can say to this

I'm fixing a last Issue which i've found in the last Minute. It causes reboots and a Bootloop. You know Me, i can't release something like that...
I'm almost done with it, 100 from 350 Lines remain who could cause it. I don't want to exclude anything without knowing what causes the Issues.
250 Lines are running stable now. I do add 30 Lines at once followed by a clean flash of everything to test. If it breaks i know it was in the last 30 Lines. That takes some Time.
Think it will be up within the next 1 or 2 Hours.
Word! :fingers-crossed:
Can U add the ability to flash over Android 6?
Great job, so it will work on Stock too? Can you make a Option which things work on stock and which not? Thanks master

Yes, i'll do...
-Init.d Support has to be enabled to make the Scripts work
-GApps will not flash on 7.0 Make sure You're flashing Open GApps for 7.0 ARM64 after Patching
That's it!
BR:angel:
PS: Patch is almost ready, think i found the troublemaker. I'll do some more testing to be sure!
The first light patch is available
A first Thread was created on XDA and the WebSite has got the Changelog back. Instructions can be found if needed and everything is done from My Side.
Now is Your Part Folks! Take a look on the WebSites "Light" Site, where You will find the Google Drive Folder of the Light Patch. I do really hope You will like what I've done with the Patch. The next Version is already in the Works!
There where no Spoilers or any Infos out there about what comes. But there it is!

RR? Yep, unstable like LOS atm. Tested with and without the Patch to make sure i'm not causing the reboots...
MoKee runs fine, and i had not a single reboot with it till now (latest Nightly). I can really recommend it! V1.1 of the Patch will be even more optimized for it since it's My daily driver now...

no miui!!! Los/rr
still no miui until u use a beautifull dragon logo ???
Anyway good work... it's hard to compile a custom kernel to MIUI ? no search a course only time needed to create something like u, maybe with less feature...
Maybe i'll provide a miui version, but sorry, i'm zero interested in flashing any miui ROM to my mix. Means, i'll not test any miui version myself.
Enthusiasts are available to debug and report with logcat...
Cheers
Hi guys,
The developer has stated so many times that he's not interested in developing anything for miui roms. So unless you want him to run away, he's got enough work to do right now. So Have mercy on his soul.
Btw, do you have any idea how hard it is to blindly develope a kernel? It's hard and frustrating.

Hi guys,
The developer has stated so many times that he's not interested in developing anything for miui roms. So unless you want him to run away, he's got enough work to do right now. So Have mercy on his soul.
Btw, do you have any idea how hard it is to blindly develope a kernel? It's hard and frustrating.

Hi. Mate although i never flashed any of Los/RR builds yet i know them; i everytime read all the comments on all pappschlumpf threads and appreciate all of his works. He used to compile one for miui rom before that we were using it, so it's not that awkward wish to expect a miui kernel from him.
We all see that he's not interested in miui, while he's doing a great job on both rom and kernel line which is incredibly awesome for anyone who picks a part. Also appreciate for your kind donations to him and excitement; quite admirable.
I personally wish such kernel on miui rom which is the secondary main reason for me to buy this device. Ps. I was using miui roms on my both previous s6e+ and Lg g3 devices. I'm like: ''Think about it.''
At the end of the day; such a great device and it's software on it but no kernel development. That is frustrating if you ask me. I'm hearing 'Learn and compile by yourself' lecture in my ears eh, but since there is such a good developer around; we just wish.
Last thing; it's not so blind developing for him, i believe. He's been there before. I know a kernel developer who owns ''a device'' and compiles his kernels for 2 different devices and 27 different variants of those devices. I don't mean anything but ''I have an idea''. So; let 'em keep their wishes since he says ''maybe''. Have a good day.

The original source is from Mi5 / nougat. IWhich means if there will be a stock version it will be for nougat!
Sorry guys, mm kernel, from my side a no. If one of you want's to do that job i could help with configs etc. But i'll not invest my rare free time to make a mm kernel.

Great kernel, works stable and fast. I only have one question. When I press the FP reader, it takes some time from the vibration to the screen turning on. Is there a setting that I could change to get that to be a bit faster?
My GF has a Redmi Note 3 and the delay is shorter there. Sorry, but I'm not really advanced when it comes to tweaking kernels. Thanks!
I am on RR and failed to flash as it came up with an error.

You can try it for yourself and see. From my experience it is better than stock MIUI 8, xiaomi.eu or mi-globe. I don't know the current state of Lineage. It is not nice to ask a developer to compare his work with another developer. The best way is to test for yourself and make your own conclusions

Personally I never use gapps but it's more a matter of principle. I think custom roms should be as corporate-neutral (if I can say so as possible and allow users to add apps to them any way they want.
I can easily remove them in future builds and anyone can flash their own gapps or whatever they want. I think it is only right to do this if it a popular demand though. The only way to test this is by removing them in future builds and see if we get any responses

Btw no other solution for Titanium Backup?
Alright for titanium backup I might have found a solution but I'm not really sure it works I need people to test it for me so I can confirm this.
-Install the rom (with whatever root you like)
-Install titanium backup but not open it yet
-Open security app, go to permissions and press the settings button on the top right corner
-You will see an option that says "Install via USB" and enable it
-Then test restore from titanium backup and i think it will work
Please reply here if this method works for you

I think the best custom rom I tested. Battery quite good.
Can you add omni switch for recents? Flashable zip works, but I have two buttons now.
Thanks fot your work.
Some bugs:
Magisk 14, safety net - basicintegrity true, ctsprofile false,
Play store - without certificate,
Nfs most wanted - touch not works,
Wake with volume buttons - sometimes works.

Nfs - which kernel are you on?
For wake with volume buttons try unoptimizing some system services (setting->battery->upper right corner->battery optimization) like Android System or some things to do with waking the device with volume buttons.
Tho, I am not sure about any of this, and for some time we can't expect dev's everyday support, he is very busy nowadays but he started the thread so that we can pin point some of the bugs in the mean time. Anyways, try going to a more stable kernel (in my case k10-009 is great) and unoptimize a few things and report back, I will edit the OP and add the bugs to the list if they persist after you try a few things. Never the less, thanks for help!
I'm on original kernel, good battery life, maybe I'll try 009 or uda r1.4.
Thanks for answer. @fpozar
I set android system & settings - no optimization & vol buttons wake up.
I didn't change kernel yet.

Yeah, this is a great ROM, I can't believe how smooth things are, with K10-009 kernel and ondemand governor I get the best performance so far with great battery too! 5h SOT with whole day of stand by. I don't play heavy games though, but never the less, it provides awesome performance while I watch movies, stream youtube, read PDF scripts, browse the web (It can even handle around 5 tabs!). Overall the best ROM I've tried so far (didn't try tesla and aicp).

I've tried aicp, tesla an RR, so this AEX is the best!
Why do you use the k10-09 instead of the last one? 011..
Have you tested the KU version?
What governor used by this rom? or is the kernel that decides the governor?
Have you tested magisk? and the safetyNet test goes to you? i've tried 2 times (full reinstalled) but always 1/2 test passed...
I'm really very curious sorry but I like to know what i do and why x)

I use K10-009 because I once tried a K10-011 version (Linaro I believe) and found that my device was randomly rebooting. It could be that the regular K10-011 version was good and that only the Linaro one would cause crash, but regardless I went through the thread and saw that pretty much everyone was happy with the K10-009 kernel, so I didn't want to reflash and test countless times and went for that. So with that said, I did not try out the KU kernel, I might give it a go next time I do a clean flash, but for now I am more than happy with how the things look.
Also, I'm not sure about Magisk, I believe it has to do with the ROM (while browsing xda subforum for Xiaomi Mi5 I found a ROM whose selling point was the Safety Net pass) so we will just have to wait until dev can help us out...
If you want a full written guide about the governors and stuff, I made one recently (before I tried AEX so instead of Lineage folloe the guide by flashing aex). Link
I agree, best damn room for the ST.
BTW, if you really need to pass both safetynet checks, install "Universal safetynet fix" magisk module and voila!

Thank You
I will fix in next build.
I like your rom.
Almost all possible extensions are included, and they work well.
I have the following suggestions to include:
1) Add LTE on/off quick tile.
2) SIM card switch on/off provision.
3) Being targeted for Le 2 devices only, for saving battery power, include the scripts (e.g: from Kernel Adiutor) to reduce the CPU min frequency to 400 MHz, as part of the rom installation itself.
4) Similar to above, include the script of "Enable Doze for GMS Magisk Module", for Dozing Google Play Services, to help conserve further battery power.
Porint #3, #4 would avoid Magisk and Kernel Adiutor installation for ordinary users.
Thanks
Tejo

3) Being targeted for Le 2 devices only, for saving battery power, include the scripts (e.g: from Kernel Adiutor) to reduce the CPU min frequency to 400 MHz, as part of the rom installation itself.
4) Similar to above, include the script of "Enable Doze for GMS Magisk Module", for Dozing Google Play Services, to help conserve further battery power.
Porint #3, #4 would avoid Magisk and Kernel Adiutor installation for ordinary users.
Thanks
Tejo

I didn't checked but i think its working.
I had found some bug in every custom ROM.
But it's not matter.
I'm facing the bug is Bluetooth Headset.
My Bluetooth Device is connected but i can't talk in phone call and some Bluetooth headset work but not cleared voice.
It is occurring in every 8.1 OREO CUSTOM ROM
Will you please fix the issue.
And my favorite CUSTOM ROM is crDroid.
So i am writing this on you.
