It will, but some Things may not work like the init.d Scripts. I've also dropped the extra support for LG Stock like 4K Video Recording on the front Camera or Adoptable Storage with the LIGHT PATCH. This is the preparation for bigger Things like a own Android/Fuchsia OS and own Apps based on AOSP. I can just say from this Point that AOSP has just advantages and almost no Things to miss like Quality combined with the Patch. Once AOSP is stable on a Device it reaches just a higher Level. Even the OEMs of the Devices are not putting almost nearly as much efforts on optimizing a Device than the AOSP Devs do...
Try Lineage OS with the Patch, You will not regret it! That's all what i can say to this

I'm fixing a last Issue which i've found in the last Minute. It causes reboots and a Bootloop. You know Me, i can't release something like that...
I'm almost done with it, 100 from 350 Lines remain who could cause it. I don't want to exclude anything without knowing what causes the Issues.
250 Lines are running stable now. I do add 30 Lines at once followed by a clean flash of everything to test. If it breaks i know it was in the last 30 Lines. That takes some Time.
Think it will be up within the next 1 or 2 Hours.
Word! :fingers-crossed:
Can U add the ability to flash over Android 6?
Great job, so it will work on Stock too? Can you make a Option which things work on stock and which not? Thanks master

That's it!

PS: Patch is almost ready, think i found the troublemaker. I'll do some more testing to be sure!

RR? Yep, unstable like LOS atm. Tested with and without the Patch to make sure i'm not causing the reboots...
MoKee runs fine, and i had not a single reboot with it till now (latest Nightly). I can really recommend it! V1.1 of the Patch will be even more optimized for it since it's My daily driver now...
Tried on Fulmics, endet in Black Bootscreen (loop)

9002 is obsolete because it is based off the 81c image.

This is an enhanced version of the 81c developer preview that google released.
It has currently been ported for Mako and Deb and improved for Hammerhead and Flo
It offers a permissive selinux policy, aosp merged in and rock solid stabilty along with drastic improvements in speed and smoothness.
It offers updated proprietary files, updated google apps, fonts, res files and animations from the newer sdks.

Deb does not have a working mobile radio yet, radio turns on but without access to the settings, we can't configure it. A work around is being worked on
Big thanks to @defconoi , @zyr3x , @percy_g2 , @ben1066 [MENTION=1050103] for improving and originally helping with the old lpv79 port to Mako.
Right now I rebased the entire project to clean it out and smooth it out
Huge thanks to @ramjet73 @bitstra @manueltts @skiman10 @psycho693 @jayfallen for helping me get it over to the other devices I don't have and testing everything I threw at them and the huge brainstorming and trying things I couldn't. It would have not been possible without these guys so please thank them

Warning. This has heavy ramdisk mods that are essential for it to work. You can flash current up to date "kit Kat kernels or L updaters only" but not full boot.imgs as this will break the ROM. If you do happen to flash a a boot.img, you can pull it out if the rom and fastboot flash boot boot.img
Hammerhead can only use L preview Kernels.
Remember, this is a port of a developer preview, there is already bugs in the official version from google and without the L code, we can not fix google's bugs. There are fixes to known problems in N7 2013 and N5 forums so if you do find them, please provide them with the bug

Stable-9001
Now over 9000!!!!!!
Updated selinux security policy
tracked down some missing permissions
did some other work but can't remember
B7.0.1
Flo & Deb
removed some excess apps that were replaced and I missed in b7
B7
updated fonts, res files, animations from the latest sdk
updater-script wipes cache files
updated some more google apps.
now using smart-art
force dns to google's public dns
B6
6 finishes up the rebasing work from 5 (5.9 was just a stepping stone and getting it out to other devices so we could work out all the kinks)
(Mako only info)
The rebasing work meant a lot of clean up and trying to get it as efficient as possible so from 5 to 6 is a big step and will be quite noticeable
(mako, flo, deb)
updated egl drivers are from qcom developer are in here which are newer then the preview ones
(Hammerhead )
Proper working sound now
(All)
Built in Busybox should be working. I tested the functions and seemed good to me.
Got rid of all the looping code and debugging code to speed everything up.
Updated the preview proprietary binaries to the latest version (some can't go all the way up and are stuck on a previous set or even original preview versions)
(Hammerhead has the latest preview egl drivers)
Built in google apps have been updated.
Introduction of slim builds for those on a bandwidth budget.
Can't think of what else.
Most kinks have all been worked out

improved smoothness and increased reliability, daily driver status

Trust this L-AOSP port - it's FAST - STABLE - PERMISSIVE - INGENIOUS !
I'm using this ROM (beside the tests) as my flo's daily driver since the first test versions - and had the look over the complete EVOLUTION of that thingy...:good:
Hope, Google Authorities will have a look to @sykopompos threads for L-port - HIRE @sykopompos - It would be the best decision in your career, for sure!

Sent from Nexus 7.2 Flo using Tapatalk.
As for the difference. Updated binaries, completely aosp based current ramdisk with the L specific stuff added in. Completely rooted and working. Fully permissive sepolicy so some apps that were being blocked before actually go through also without selinux blocking everything, speed is increased. New SDK fonts (I gotta add the animations and colors in (mako users said they were snappier))
Current up to date aosp hal files
And, as you might have noticed the official L preview is a fair bit choppier than kk or any earlier releases. This aims to get back smoothness. Hammerhead L preview is MUCH faster, idk if due to hardware but this bridges the gap
Btw hi

Tiny is looking through it and he is saying that the aosp source is enough off from cm but I'm looking through and the entire ROM is caf.
I'm syncing caf right now to tale a look through it to see if we can work it back to basically hammerhead. It is essentially the same hardware so with slight modification to it, it should work
Thanks for putting this together. Coming from stock, had too many FC on ASUS Keyboard to even get past language selection at first, but power off/wait/retry worked fine as said in first post.

Flash instructions
1. make sure you have a current TWRP installed (3.1.0.0)
---> feel free to ask how to flash it if you don't know how
2. Download current Beanstalk ROM package to your device:
Download Marshmallow
Download Nougat
3. Download my Gapps (recommended as they work the best and are clean):
Download Marshmallow
Download Nougat
--> I really don't recommend any other GApps package as I configured the package to work with our grouper perfectly, any other package would probably cause issues due to the small system partition
4. Reboot to recovery (Turn off your device, press Power & Vol- and choose Recovery)
5. Wipe system, data, dalvik/art cache and cache partitions (optionally use f2fs)
6. Install ROM, then GApps (don't install any additional system mod if u use GApps as there's no space for it)

Great to hear about people who are interested in my work. Hope you're lucky with all the features in the ROM. Looking forward to your report. Hopefully there'll be some more comments when I'm back from driving school
Happy flashing to all of you
I'm going to for sure try this ROM. Thanks
Just rewrote GApps package. It includes swype keyboard support and face unlock now. I'll probably upload it tomorrow as it would take ?1h to upload this roughly 60MB file. I hope you'd like to see these features as well.
Furthermore I'm planning to add some features to the kernel. Just tell me if you'd like to see something like that, too
Here is a short review... So far very good, but the Gapps has some issues. I had to revart back open gapps pico pack to resolve the issue. I have been using Beanstalk with my phone from last couple of months so, it was like walking in park for me. Everything is there as well some unnecessary things like vibration module settings, but I guess that is due to the same tree that has been using with other beanstalk ROM. and by the way @krassermensch thanks for the bulid.

Do these apps not start or does the PlayStore say that these apps are incompatible? Furthermore keep in mind that the Nexus 7's system partition is limited. That means that in case you install a gapps package which is too big it doesn't fit in your system partition. If it's the PlayStore issue that occurs to me as well the solution is quite simple. As the play store reads your build.prop for your device informations and as a tablet of this size with this pixel density running marshmallow isn't verified yet, the play store tells you some apps are incompatible. Solutions:
- download and install an incompatible app from websites like apkmirror
- use market helper https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwb2OJUvDO5razR0YzZFQVhISVU/view?pref=2&pli=1
- dirty: change build.prop entrys:
Open the file /system/build.prop using a text editor
change the entrys ro.product.model to Nexus 4 and ro.product.manufacturer to LGE
Good luck. I hope these apps will be compatible in the near future but that's something a developer can hardly fix. It's Google's task to make it work. Let's see...

Nah!! It said "this version of this application is not compatible with your device". pico gapps solved the issue, now everything is fine.

OK? Strange. I guess it's because my gapps package creates an own line in the build.prop and that's something the Play Store is confused about but I'm not sure. Although good to know that pico open gapps work. I'll work on my gapps package again before I upload it. Moreover I added some really usefull and powersaving features to the kernel as well as some governors that might be usefull. Furthermore OC options are included now, too. Hope everything will work stable. If everything works well you'll see these features in Beanstalk 6.08. Until then I'm gonna work on a totally new GApps package. I hope it's done before school time starts again as I'm too busy then. Let's see...
Hate to say it but your gapps package complained about space restrictions on mine saying it was unable to install. I had to download the pico gapps just to get at least something installed. This seems to be a recent phenomena with marshmallow or something as these issues with gapps were nearly nonexistent with kitkat and lollipop because I never got these messages.

Thanks a lot for reporting this bug. I think it happend as you flashed some more packages and finally your system partition wasn't big enough. I'd always recommend OpenGApps to AOSP ROMs but on CM based ROMs there's the cyanogenmod setup wizard which makes the aosp setup wizard flashed with open gapps unneccesary. As I want to keep everything as clean as possible I'll post a new GApps package as soon as I'll have tested it. Although thank you really much. I appreciate every report and until I'll have updated the GApps package I recommend the Pico and Nano Open GApps.
Update to Beanstalk 6.08
I updated Beanstalk to version 6.08
I updated the GApps some days ago (cleanest GApps for CM-ROMs, kept minimal)
I customized the ROM's stock kernel (voltage control, CPU OC...)
Have fun trying it out, looking forward to your reviews

Thanks for your work. The ROM work good with my Nexus 7 Tilapia ! (I have replaced "grouper" with
"tilapia"). I don't need G3.
Thanks for the hard work, been a while since I've modded anything, it used to be my phone all the time but I got an iPhone last year and havent modded anything since
but my wife's old Nexus was borked with that 5.1.1 update a while back and I just forgot about the tablet, got it all fixed up and running your rom now.....so far so good but I'm having issues saving things to the device from certain apps? Apps from the play store install fine but I tried getting some wallpaper from Zedge and it wont save any of the downloads. I've been out of the game for a while so its probably something stupid, like Google messing around with sdcard storage or something again....
Any ideas?

I don't know exactly what causes your issue but I think it's due to the Android 6.0 Permission System. There are requests by Apps asking for permission to write data to the storage for example. I recommend going to Settings->Apps->Zedge->Permissions-> here you need to grant the App all of the permissions that might be necessary to work properly.
I have to go to school now but I'm goona try to reproduce your issue when I'm back. Just tell me if the upper suggestion fixed your problem or if it's really a kind of deep bug of Beanstalk OS.
its so amazing that this device still gets love to this day. even my international note 4 dont have this much decs! thank you. beanstalk was always my go to wgen i had an s4.

It's always great to hear such feedback, especially because it's my first ROM. Thanks a lot. Feedback, may it be positive or negative, motivates me proceeding my work. After all the inconvenience I had with my own computer which has some hardware issues I can't specify I had to switch to my mother's Intel Pentium computer. Everything's so slow on this device but it worked in the end although every build takes even a bit longer than the repo syncs (~8hours). My budget as a pupil makes it impossible to fix the issues on my computer so there will always be small delays on ROM updates. All in all builds work and I'm looking forward to make updates for this ROM for some time.
There's something else I'm interested in: What do you think about the new Kernel features? Do they work for you?
Waiting for your feedback

We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimizations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.
Pie
We’ve been working hard on redesigning this key feature of our portfolio and we’re really happy with how it has turned out. The whole design has been reworked and it fits in well with the overall feel of Google’s Material Design. This gives you the opportunity to use more gesture based control for navigating, rather than using the standard Navigation Bar at the bottom of your screen. Expect improvements and additions in the future.
Color Engine
We’re proud to announce our newest feature - Color Engine. Color Engine allows you to seamlessly change the colors of your device to be in Light, Dark (Pixel) and Black modes with a variety of accent colors to choose from. This makes changing the theme of your device really quick without having to install any extra packages on your device.
Pocket Lock
This feature prevents any form of accidental input when your device is in your pocket by disabling input sources. You can simply release Pocket Lock by long pressing the power button as highlighted by the minimal UI incase of any sort of obstruction or dust on the sensors.
Accidental Touch
Accidental Touch is a feature useful for many, especially the gamers out there. It prevents any sort of accidental touch on hardware buttons while the touchscreen is in use. This means you won’t experience any unexpected behaviour while playing games, web browsing or even when attempting to reach your finger out to the edge of that humongous display.
Major Feature
- Reworked Pie
- Color engine
- Pocket lock
- Immersive mode
- Buttons customization (including navigation bar)
- On the spot controls (OTS)
Minor Features
- SafetyNet Compatibility
- Battery/Notification LED control
- Recent tasks locking
- Battery icon customization
- Google now page in default launcher
- Accidental touch
- Three finger swipe Screenshot
- Substratum (OMS) support (Color engine will be deactivated if you use Substratum)
- Quick pulldown
- Various performance and battery improvements
- Display Burn-in protection (for OLED screens)
- More to explore

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
F.A.Q :
Q - Why you mustn't quote the hole post ?
A - As you are killing us dude !
Q - Why mustn't I ask for ETA ?
A - Simply , we are students and colleges so we are busy with our studying and other life problems !
Q - Why mustn't you Spam ?
A -As Organization Is the key to achieve the impossible !
Q - I have faced some issues, which is not mentioned in the 'Not Working' list........?
A - For bug reports, the least we can expect from you is a logcat taken during the issue. Or atleast, you could tell us how and when did you face the bug, how can we reproduce the bug to fix it. Reports without any of these will be ignored.
Q - Can I use your ROM/any part of ROM and modify it and release it separately?
A - Yes you can. But please mention proper credits.
Bug reporting
How to report a bug?
First off all, check the 'not working' list and see if the bug you are facing is already mentioned or not. If it is, stop right away because the concerned people working on the ROM are aware of the issue.
If the bug/issue is not mentioned in 'not working' list, check the Frequently Asked Question (F.A.Q) and see if issue is resolved already.
If the issue you face is not in FAQ either, you would probably post a reply in this forum, and not PM anyone, about the bug.
Attach a logcat.
If not possible, mention a proper way how you encountered the bug.
Also mention any 3rd party stuff you installed. (Like mods, themes, kernels etc)
Following things WILL NOT be considered as bugs. So please do not post such bug reports, they will be ignored.
Low benchmark scores. Even if Stock results better.
Poor performance in gaming. Even if Stock results better.
High RAM usage/low RAM available.
Various kernel control app crashes.
Crashes of various UI elements when a custom theme/mod is applied.
Random reboots, and other issues caused by flashing custom kernel.
Thank You!!!!

I am not able to flash even pico gapps with this rom. Its strange because i have flashed larger roms with larger gapps on this device but now its showing me memory space error. iam doing a clean flash.
And what is that backup tool for and what backup is it making and restoring. Is it causing space error?
UPDATE: i tried to boot it without gapps and now its just sitting at boot logo(not bootanimation), does this rom has a boot animation? coz for me its just siiting at bootlogo for past 10 mins. @Kuck7610
UPDATE-1:I am able to flash Lineage os with nano gapps(larger than pico), so i think its rom specific bug.Kindly look into it.I will try to provide you with logs soon.

Repair file system as if? Changing it to f2fs ? As far as I know repairing will format all data of that partition right?

Please let your ROM like it is... It is so pretty minimalist.
Could you please remove Calculator and Gallery too? Only Playstore is enough...
Updates weekly, monthly..?
I'm testing it right now...
Whow, this rom seems even smaller then GZOSP?
I will definitely also try this one in the coming days, hoping it will stay 'pretty minimalist' as Master_TC mentioned.
Curious about update cycle also btw...

I can probably make two builds, one without AOSP apps and one with. I personally prefer no AOSP apps but that's not what StatiXOS uses.
Probably weekly updates. Currently working on fixing remaining neverallows to be able to ship user builds.
ROM is installed and works great so far.
The installation and configuration went smoothly.
Playstore is preinstalled, but depends permanet on the point where the apps should be updated. That's why I had to install Opengapps pico. Now I can also update all apps.
It's great that SELinux is Enforcing. As a result, all Baking apps run without problems for me!
I could not find Smart Pixels in the menus. Also, I miss that the HW keys can not be modified.
@ZVNexus
Unfortunately, there is one serious issue:
after restarting the phone, I can unlock it with fingerprint and pattern. This process must be done within 10-20 seconds after the restart. Otherwise the display will not respond any more. It is neither possible to enter the pattern nor to reboot. The only solution is to hold down the power button for a long time.
Overall, the ROM is great and I will use it as a daily driver.
PS: my english is not the best. I used google translate...

I tried to replicate the last issue but failed. If you could provide logs that would be great. Are you on firmware 5.0.8? I doubt that's the reason, but doesn't hurt to check.
HW Keys customization is something I am working on ATM, should have listed it in things that aren't working ATM.

Yes i'm on 5.0.8. I have OP 3T and set fingerprint with paddern.
I installed your rom 2 times allways clean install, but the issue exists.
- Set fingerprint with paddern
- reboot your phone and don't touch it
- after 1 minute try to unlock with fingerprint and padern
- after fingerprint it asks for paddern, but you can't draw the paddern
- only long press on power button helps and immediately unlocking after reboot
Sorry for stupid question, but how can i make log files and where can i find them?
For me this one is a little too lean....
But a great base for people looking only for the basics and put their stuff on top.
I am missing the aosp stuff like telephone service and clock, so may be I will try again when the second flavour is available
All together good work!

adb-tools.
adb logcat > logcat.txt (do this in terminal)
For any more information Google is a great resource.
After letting it sit for a minute I was able to replicate the issue. I remember a user that had this issue on another ROM. I will look into it later tonight, but as of now its not a serious issue as mainly anyone doesn't wait that long to unlock their phone. I won't be able to get logs until I get home, but if you send me logs earlier than that I can look into it earlier.
*EDIT*
Talked with a friend who had this exact issue,
"What i did to prevent it, clean flash without wiping cache. I came from OOS". Try that.

Yeah this makes a lot of sense. Also replacing the AOSP dialer results in emergency calls failing randomly so its best to leave it installed and make the Google Dialer the default after installing from the play store. Kind of like leaving QuickStep so you have the Pie recents, only way more important.
Anybody tested VOLTE in India with this ROM?
New build is out!
Changelog
Synced latest StatiXOS sources
Always On Display
Dash Charging
More SELinux denials fixed
Night Light fixed! (Went back to previous display HAL CAF tag, something is broken in CAF ATM)
Went back to 3.18.131 (Greg removed .132-rc1 from the linux-stable-rc tree so something was probably wrong with it.)
GAPPs
Also I compiled a GAPPs package with January APKs from the Pixel 3XL factory image. Also includes standard Google applications. This GAPPs package removes the default AOSP apps so anyone who wants to remove AOSP apps, this would be it.

First time installing crDroid to your Moto E 2015 LTE, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
Boot animation is incorrect size (I should hopefully fix in the next build.

Sounds like you broke your phone. I be mean you tried different roms with same results either restore to stock and see if it's something low-level you messed with or get new phone If it's VoIP you are using then might be mixer path issues. First try a magisk module. Or use Google to learn about editing it. Honestly though you need to be more specific when it happens. What caused it. Anything besides something so general. It like saying my tires are broken. Yes the car is down and there is issue with tires but why what ect. Is a there a nail? It's it flat? I think the speaker and mic are part of the same module in this phone. So sounds like hardware issue. Do you have mods like sauron/viper/Dolby?
Note: Post it in one place. The best being where you lost the use in the first place. Then get logs.
This rom doesn't have the middle lockscreen shortcuts yet, right? And maybe someone can compare the battery life to RR7?

This is a solid ROM with great battery life for me. I have always had better battery life with crdroid in the past. I did not not test between the two on this device.l, but I have done yesterday on at least he 6 different phones and crdroid was always better for battery life. RR might get more updates though. It had been updated since it was really this was not.... Yet...

Thanks for the info.
What about the middle lockscreen shortcuts? And is this a "go" version of android?

I don't know about middle lockscreen shortcuts I don't control feature set of crDroid. This version isn't the "go" version of android. Next build will have the "go" configs to improve performance for the surnia device.

Tried the rom yesterday, and actually it doesn't have any lockscreen shortcuts yet (middle nor bottom). Also there isn't a 4g/LTE button in quick settings (maybe it's possible to get it with tasker or other apps).
If the rom isn't "go", is there some other reason why split screen doesn't work? I would really love to use this function on a pie rom for surnia.

You can set a low ram flag. I think some kernel managers have it, you can look up how to do be it manually, I know for sure lspeed has that option. Only thing it does is allow you a different app set and a bit different memory management. If it's built to it though it's different I think. Different system apps and Google apps like assistant.

Those who want to test a sorta alpha-ish version of CrDroid 6.0 based on Android 10 can flash this build below:
From my knowledge, video recording from camera doesn't work, please if you can report what's working and what isn't. Based on the same sources as the Lineage 17.0 build that was posted recently.
